Obama Meets With Supreme Court Justices

According to the Wall Street Wire of the Wall Street Journal, “President-elect Barack Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden will visit the U.S. Supreme Court today after an invitation was extended by Chief Justice John Roberts. [sic 01142009]

This is the third time in modern history that a president-elect and vice-president elect have made pre-inaugural stops to the court—Bill Clinton and Al Gore visited the court on Dec. 8, 1992 and Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush visited the court on Nov. 19, 1980.

Obama and Biden will meet with Roberts and the associate justices in the ceremonial West Conference Room, and are expected to take a tour of the court. Chief Justice Roberts is scheduled to officiate the swearing in of Obama on January 20, 2008 , but lingering court cases regarding Obama’s citizenship have been shuffling around the Supreme Court.  All have been denied or denied without judgment, so far.  Still, cases are pending.  Perhaps this is a perfect opportunity, behind closed doors for the Justices to ask Obama if he is qualified under our Constitutional Law, to hold the office of President.  Maybe they will ask him but even if they do, I doubt we would ever be privileged to the answer.   

Obama said, “I was a constitutional law professor, which means unlike the current president, I actually respect the Constitution”  but then again we have to ask how does Obama propose to protect and defend a document he believes to contain a “fundamental flaw”?

Obama to Serve as President Forever- Constitution Changes

Change you can believe in?

Res. 5 http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=hj111-5  is a proposed amendment to repeal the term limits for presidents and introduced Jan.6, 2009 by Democrat Serrano.    http://serrano.house.gov/Biography.aspx  U.S. Representative José E. Serrano represents the 16th Congressional District of New York – the Bronx.  He is the only Congressman from New York City on the exclusive House Appropriations Committee and is serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government.

From his bio, “Serrano believes that government should work to ensure that the prosperity of our country is shared by the neediest and most vulnerable members of our society- the poor, the elderly, the disabled, and children- in the form of participation in government, educational opportunities, access to housing and affordable health care. ” 

Golly Gee, sounds just like socialistic rhetoric from Obama.   More participation in government?  Howza bout enforcing laws on the books?  Laws that would have alleviated the disastrous economic declines of Freddie, Fannie, etc.?  Laws that were already in place to prevent the Madoff ponzi?  Laws that discourage capitalism and instead form a reliance on the government to solve the individual woes?  Honest effort and pride in accomplishment used to be a winning formula.

At a time in this country when we have an incoming president who has faulted the Constitution more than once,  here we have an elected official with a significant amount of clout introducing on the first day of Congress a bill to change our Constitution and allow for a President to serve pretty much without time limits, “Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.”

“English Plus” resolutions have been passed in the U.S. states of New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Washington.  Ironically, English Plus has not been passed in the Congressman’s home state of New York.  I wonder what language would be proposed?  Arabic? Mandarin?  Any of the countries who might be perceived as a military threat? 

For heaven’s sake if he wants to remove a language barrier, how about starting with educating the military.  Imagine these poor soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq who were never trained in a fundamental intelligence operation like being able to speak the enemy language.  “I surrender, What? What did you say? Oh, you’ve got a gun, bang.”  

We have American combat troops stationed right here on our soil, and I am pretty happy that they speak English and able to defend us.  In fact, I wish there were more protecting our borders.

The leader of the free world, President Obama clearly views the Constitution as an obstacle to “political and economic justice in this society.”   The Constitution has served Mr. Obama well, and rather conveniently somehow allowed him to avoid providing proof that he meets the requirements of the natural-born citizen clause, Article II, Section 1, for eligibility as President.   Every case to date and under the interpreted laws of the land, all the way up to the Supreme Court, he has avoided providing any documentation of his birth.

We had all better become better informed as to what our elected officials are doing, what laws they are proposing, and what laws they choose to enforce.  We can’t rely on MSM and let’s face it, often times watching C-SPAN is like watching paint dry.  Whatever language we speak, everyone here in America, even the illegals get certain rights afforded to them. It is everyones right, privilege and obligation to see that things aren’t just snuck through the cracks when it becomes convenient. 

The Constitution was designed for America.  It is your Constitution-  our Constitution, yet today multilateral institutions like the World Bank and International Monetary Fund are privatizing economies and restructuring the social policies of  the world- including America and certainly influencing our Constitutional law. 

Our Constitution should not be bent or amended so much so, that we are lost in the New World Order we hear so often about.  Our Constitution should not be amended to allow for a President to serve indefinitely, even if he is “The One,” his campaign promise stood on.

The BlagO, RezkO and Obama 3-Ring Circus

The circus used to come only once a year when I was a kid. As an adult, it shames me that this political circus and financial conundrum is playing out on a daily basis in all of America .  The whole world is shaking its head while the media parades it’s selective stories.

Having dirty underwear is pretty shitty and lots of politicians are shitting themselves about now.  Guilt by association doesn’t hold up in a court of law, but added up- circumstantial evidence just might.  Patrick Fitzgerald said, “The citizens of Illinois deserve public officials who act solely in the public’s interest, without putting a price tag on government appointments, contracts and decisions.”  I believe he misspoke.  No one in America deserves the hand that has been dealt, not just those in Illinois.

After nearly a trillion dollar bailout of whom we are still not sure, the Senate in D.C., blocked money for the Big 3 Automakers.  The Union said no wage concessions and that put a stop to it right there.  Unless GWB, the guy who is still our current President, has something up his sleeve -expect to see a huge deficit in the GDP and pronto. 

About the same time in NY,  Bernie Madoff  the former chairman of the Nasdaq Stock Market who founded Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, the closely held market-making firm was running a hedge fund under an alleged ponzi scheme that racked up billions of fraudulent losses.  

Madoff told senior employees of his firm on Wednesday that “it’s all just one big lie” and that it was “basically, a giant Ponzi scheme,” with estimated investor losses of about $50 billion, according to the U.S. Attorney’s criminal complaint against him. The article “Will Dirty Chicago Politics be the Undoing of Obama” seems to have hit the nail on the head some 10 months later.  He goes on to say, “The Obama-Rezko relationship must be understood in the context of the influence peddling, the casual corruption, the cronyism, the favoritism shown in less than open bidding – all part of a city and state political culture where the politician, the businessman, and the crook frequently rub elbows and sometimes wear each other’s hats.

Hell, remember all the brew ha ha over Ayers and the Obama’s hanging out at a dinner for Khalidi?  The LA Times refused to release the tape and then there we rewards issued for it, including one from Dune Capital.

I am beginning to think Obama paid for the tape himself.  Obama made no comment that I could find, instead the campaign insisted that its candidate “has been clear that Rashid Khalidi is not an adviser to him or his campaign and that he does not share Khalidi’s views.”

Obama Can’t Dismiss The Supreme Court

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.  It isn’t Halloween anymore, and the skeletons are still coming out of the Obama closet. 

Just when he thought Obama thought he could breath easy with the likes of Ayers, Rezko, Autchi behind him along comes Rod Blagojevich dragging the Obama name back through the slime of Chicago and Illinois politics yet again.

 The full complaint is at http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/acrobat/2008-12/43789434.pdf .  I highlight, the FBI affidavit said Blagojevich had been told by an adviser “the president-elect can get Rod Blagojevich’s wife on paid corporate boards in exchange for naming the president-elects pick to the Senate.”‘  Someone from the Obama team got taped for two whole hours talking about Obama’s Senate Seat up for grabs and the http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/ once again has summed up nicely the damning, mounting evidence to at the very least, Obama’s previous relationships. 

Who the hell has time to sit and talk for two hours? Why doesn’t Obama look as surprised as the rest of us?  Why isn’t he making passionate commentary on the issue instead spewing stoic words like Abe Lincoln?  Where is his outrage?  “It would be inappropriate to comment” said Obama in a statement. Where is the outrage from all those people who voted for him?  No comment?  Where is Bush who could appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the team that will replace his?

Who will be fired first? Patrick Fitzgerald the prosecuting attorney, or chosen one, Rahm Emanuel?   Maybe Axelrod who got his dates wrong and admitted the two met but then got amnesia? 

I found this humorous- Alternet  http://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/112008/obama_unfairly_attacked_for_crimes_he_didn’t_commit_(again)/ writes that  “numerous news organizations have been attempting to make this the first “scandal” of the Obama presidency as if Blagojevich is somehow a member of the transition or an appointee to the future administration. The truth is Obama never endorsed Blagojevich and Blagojevich never endorsed Obama. Unless you consider Blagojevich’s obnoxious “f**k him” remark to be an endorsement, that is.”  I’m not sure what was more funny-  that the blogger thinks this is the first scandal or the fact that both Obama and Emanuel have worked for Blagojevich’s campaign, could not be called an endorsement of Blagojevich.

Maybe they didn’t speak, maybe they did. Maybe Obama told Blago to f**k off.   Maybe Obama is eligible, maybe he isn’t.  Maybe, maybe, maybe someone will bring a case to the Court that maybe will put and end to all the Obaminations coming from Illinois and Obama himself. 

The list of maybes attached to Obama is beyond belief and goes all the way back to the day of his birth.  Maybe he was born in Hawaii, maybe he was born in Kenya.   His own site www.fightthesmears.com says…

So far, the wisdom of the Court has prevailed as the case did not get thrown out on its ear and is scheduled for a full conference some time today, December 15, 2008.  Maybe, just maybe this case will be heard with expediency and forthrightness so that Obama is unable to dismiss lingering eligibility concerns.  Maybe the Court can pick a date before January 20, 2009.  The Supremes should forget Christmas break and not forget about the millions of Americans who died with honor defending our Constitution.

The entire issue of natural born citizen is quite the legal conundrum.  Among other sites, the folks at http://therightwing.net/index.php/2008/12/09/the-natural-born-citizen-case-explained/  have an easy explanation of the natural born citizen clause and its merit to our laws for Presidency. 

Obama has dismissed just about every single association he has had barring his wife and kids.  I don’t think anyone has seen his marriage certificate either.   On that one, let’s give him the benefit of the doubt that he is indeed married.  He’s dismissed releasing not only his birth certificate but his medical records and college records.  What’s to hide?  Even McCain admitted he was far from a stellar student. 

One thing Obama can not dismiss is the acts of The Supreme Court.  Yes, some cases regarding President Elects eligibility have been dismissed but no one can dismiss the blatant “above the law” attitude that Obama has chosen for himself.  No one can dismiss the fact that the Supremes are learning more and more about these matters.  I begin to wonder if the courts thought process is lumping together all the issues from Berg, Donofrio, and Wrotnowski cases and coming to the conclusion that while it not be in the best interest of the nation to have an unconstitutional president, it needs to define exactly what that means.

Obama can not dismiss the fact that he is from the same Illinois political machine as other imprisoned and indited politicians nor dismiss the rulings of The Supreme Court which may today turn a full conference into a full hearing.

Obama has tried to stay ahead of the fray.  Anyone who walks in the middle of the road will get run over sooner or later.

Obama’s Ties to Blagojevich in Gotham City

Obama’s antics have been a lol like Batman and Robin movies, running around Gotham pretending he has super powers to save the good people.  From Batman Begins (2006)  –

Obama has in fact manufactured himself in to an ideal alright, but Obama doesn’t have the same super powers as Batman.  The characters like Rezko, Ayers, Khalidi and others are coming back to haunt him. 

Underscoring yesterdays indictment of Governor Blagojevich in Chicago, the scenario is far more frightening for Obama, whose Senate seat it seems was up for sale, a crime of corruption and abuse of power so massive on the scale of Justice.  The audacity.   Watergate, Obamagate, Senategate, what next?

The NY Times editorial summarized it this way- In exchange for his pick, authorities said Mr. Blagojevich was looking for a substantial salary for himself at a foundation or an organization affiliated with labor unions, a highly paid position for his wife on corporate boards, a cabinet post or ambassadorship for himself or promises of future campaign funds.”  Does this translate to a Barack Obama, in return for naming his selection for the Senate making promises to the governor?  Tit for tat. 

Even more integrating, Blagojevich has not stepped down and may yet still name a replacement.

Blagojevich and other Chicago citizens.  I’d bet The Federal Court in Illinois have most likely already secured wire taps on the Obama campaign itself, with more damning evidence to come.

Fitzgerald only has until January 20 to indict Barack Obama and anyone else.  If/When he takes the oath of office Jan. 20, he plans to be sworn in like every other president, using his full name: Barack Hussein Obama.  That aside, Fitzpatrick will have to move fast because with so many people with ties to Obama, he is most likely going to be fired the day he takes office.  So who might  be named next?  Maybe the FBI informant who informed Blagojevich, Emmanuel, Strautmanis, Axelrod, Barack Hussein Obama and/or  Joe Biden?

Tony Rezko raised about $250,000 for the senator’s campaign and then, “Obama, seeking to distance himself from his patron [Rezko], has donated $160,000 in Rezko-related contributions to charity.” (Dan Morain, “Obama To Be In Background Of Trial,” Los Angeles Times, 3/3/08)   Guess Obama kept the other $90,000.

Daylight is the shortest and thoughts of sugar plums dance in our heads with Christmas coming just a few days after.  Ah Christmas- the most apolitical correct thing to say is Merry Christmas, to celebrate the birth of Christ.  Can you imagine?

America’s history has revolved around a separation of church and state but those intertwined religious factions that have made America a better and sometimes more tolerant country.  Here you are free to believe or not.  The government doesn’t mandate any religion upon her people even though we commonly hear one nation under God- no one says what the God is, or if you have to believe in it.

So now at the holiest hours before Christmas, we have people jumping into the fray of anti religion, erecting signs like this one in Washington right next to Nativity Scenes and holiday decorations. Jeez, ya can’t even say Christmas decorations anymore.   Funny thing is, some one stoled the sign and upon it’s return, they added- Thou Shalt Not Steal, from The Ten Commandments.  Wednesday will see the addition of a “Festivus” pole next in the Capitol.  Festivus was made commonplace in the Seinfeld series. Winter solstice celebrations have been  part of the cultural heritage of Native American Indians, Pakistanis, Tibetans, Chinese and people the world over.  What could be so hard about just keeping the spirit of magic, a promise of peace,  joy to the world, alive for just a few days of the year with out the fringe destroying hope for mankind? 

Today December 7, is the anniversary of the attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor.  Thousands lost there lives that day and through out the war.  I imagine the degree to which one believes in a God is exacerbated the one’s closeness to dying.  I believe God meant for us to celebrate the living with simple respect for one another and it seems so very disrespectful to have signs like this, desecrating another’s belief system and intrude on the celebrations. 

December 8th is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, marking the start of the holiday season in many Catholic countries. It is just all to convenient to choose to ignore the millions who have died in the name of God.  It is all to insulting to those of us who live with God not only on Christmas, but every day.

Make no mistake, Obama as President Elect needs to show his authentic, verifiable birth certificate and to not do so is an utterly and complete disgrace and sabotage of our U.S. Constitution.   America herself should be proud to move past racism in electing a black man.  There should be no praise for a man who can not move past the fact that some of those same people who elected him are now questioning his authority and qualifications under Article II, Section I that defines who may hold the office of President. 

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

What an embarrassment for our country to have let the issue of his citizenship and eligibility as President elect to have gotten this far .  The rest of the world must be snickering albeit silently, that the man they will have to deal with on international matters could be so manipulative to have deceived his own people to achieve his own goals of reform and change.  What other methods of deceit may come from an Obama administration?  

Denying his citizenship to the same people who propped him up is a slap in the face that will leave America stinging for years if we find out he is not a qualified U.S. Citizen.

I don’t see how it is showing fondness for Barack Obama to let him enter into office with a question that could be raised. He should not have to operate under that burden. I think the officials need to clear the air for his sake. From my point of view, it is a bad idea to have a president of the United States enter office with a cloud hanging over his head, where every time he tries to do something, he would end up frittering away time because of that objection. So let’s get it over with. Let’s resolve it and move forward with a clear an undisturbed mandate for the new president.”

I’d say it is an inconvenience indeed when your 1st Amendment rights keep getting slammed.  A universal avoidance of the mainstream media on this issue is suspect but shutting the doors to a simple blog is unequivocally, a loss for free speech.  I’d also say it is more than an inconvenience to have a President Elect Obama refuse to produce his birth certificate.

Shame on Obama and shame on the DNC and the RNC for allowing it to get this far.

Blame God Republicans Lost the Election to Obama

Just when you think you’ve heard it all in the election cycle, comes along more fuel to the fire with columnist, Kathleen Parker of the Washington Post blathering on why the Republicans lost this year’s election, and it’s all God’s fault.  She writes at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/11/18/AR2008111802886.html 

“Three little letters, great big problem: G-O-D. I’m bathing in holy water as I type. To be more specific, the evangelical, right-wing, oogedy-boogedy branch of the GOP is what ails the erstwhile conservative party and will continue to afflict and marginalize its constituents if reckoning doesn’t soon cometh.  Simply put: Armband religion is killing the Republican Party.”

People have legitimate positions on all sides of these issues and we don’t have to agree with all of them, but a description of the oogedy-boogedy branch of the GOP is rather offensive. Socially conservative positions may not be the popular vote, but to suggest that a whole group of people leave their values behind is ludicrous.  Religion is very personal thing, but not necessarily private.  The gorilla she professes as a God problem is really the abortion issue. Obama made clear his support for the policy of federal funding and with regard to his personal life, saying that if his daughter’s made a mistake, he wouldn’t want them punished for the rest of their lives.  Did Obama learn this from Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s church, The Koran, The Bible?

History will tell us of the consequence of voting for Obama and his selection of pro-abortion former U.S. senator Tom Daschle of South Dakota as his Health and Human Services Secretary. His announcement came on The Feast Day of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, the patroness of Catholic hospitals.  It strikes me that proposition 8 in California, was defeated by the those same socially conservative voters that elected Obama.

Did Obama Kill the Radio Star in Weekly Address On Internet

Video Killed the Radio Star is a song by the British group Buggles and was released in 1979. It celebrates the golden days of radio, talking of a singer whose career is cut short by television.  It was the first music video shown on MTV in North America when the music channel debuted on August 1, 1981, at 12:10 A.M.  Obama would have been about 20 years old. [If I saw his birth certificate I could tell you exactly how old he was -but alas, it has never been shown to the public-only a copy of a COLB.

His campaign on the net was masterful and again we are witness to the landscape of change in communications.  Communicating will change even further this winter when TV will only be broadcast under the digital domain.  February 17, 2009, all full-power broadcast television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting on analog airwaves and begin broadcasting only in digital. Defending Borders and Privacy Laws Under Obama

The U.S. Constitution has apparently been suspended in parts of America in an effort to protect its borders from everything from illegal immigration to terrorists.  Rightful to protect its border, except that the border has been seemingly redefined to include a 100 mile wide strip that goes around the entire “external boundary” of the entire United States.

For readers are not familiar with The Onion, the Supreme Court Ruling is a satire and did not occur.  No Court has had issue with the Constitution Free Zone, yet.  When standing behind, beside or in front of the ACLU, keep in mind it may not stand up to protect all of The Bill of Rights either, “ACLU doesn’t mean all of the original 10 amendments because its policy No. 47 says, “Except for lawful police and military purposes, the possession of weapons by individuals is not constitutionally protected,” thereby ignoring the Second Amendment.”  http://www.stoptheaclu.com/archives/2008/09/06/aclu-very-selective-in-upholding-bill-of-rights/

Defending our borders, The U.S. Constitution and our privacy laws is a balancing act that will require Obama’s political vision be clear and forthright through out his entire Presidency.   Good luck with that theory of  a President being forthright though. Obama himself has barred the public from seeing his birth certificate, college transcripts, medical background, etc., so I’d say Obama’s privacy has been protected pretty dang well here in America.
