Missiles Away, Strike at North Korea?

Does the Obama Administration have necessary intelligence to keep our country safe from attack?

The 4th of July’s fireworks in the U.S. could prove to be consequential for our military, world affairs, and life as we know it.  North Korea has warned that it anticipates firing another test missile, this one aimed toward the Hawaiian Islands.

Amazingly, President Obama made the decision to fire an an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile configured with a National Nuclear Security Administration test assembly, launched from North Vandenberg yesterday-o6.29.09 at 3:01 a.m. http://www.vandenberg.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123156457  It launched from the California coast to an area in the Pacific Ocean some 4,200 miles away.

Prior to the launch of the missile that certainly provides proof that North Korea is well with in our range, NK “criticized the U.S. on Monday for positioning missile defense systems around Hawaii, calling the deployment part of a plot to attack the regime and saying it would bolster its nuclear arsenal in retaliation.” and ” “Through the U.S. forces’ clamorous movements, it has been brought to light that the U.S. attempt to launch a pre-emptive strike  (emphasis mine) on our republic has become a brutal fact,” the North’s main Rodong Sinmun newspaper said .  http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/29/AR2009062900307_pf.html

If North Korea was pissed that Defense Secretary Robert Gates ordered the deployment of a ground-based, mobile missile intercept system and radar system to Hawaii before the ICBM launch, imagine what they are thinking now?  America and Obama are about to find our who are friends are in the United Nations and New World Order having tested this missile. 

North Korea has repeatedly fired short and long range missiles, detonated nuclear bombs, threatened to nuke it’s neighbors, announces it’s going to launch a missile aimed for Hawaii and believes we should not defend ourselves.  That America is launching a pre-emptive strike?  By launching missiles from Vandenberg, is America the one’s providing the pre-emptive strike?  Kudos to Obama or has he lost his marbles?  Could he really not care if Hawaii and his original birth certificate gets blown up?

Both Obama and Barney Frank continue to seek a reduction in military spending while we fight: the war on drugs, the war on terror, the war in Afghanistan, the war on immigration, the war for socialism, etc..

Our military budget is not so defunct that  our government couldn’t provide about 40 tons of weapons and ammunition to Somalia’s embattled government in the past six weeks to help it fight Islamist insurgents(Reuters).  Not liking that one bit, “A spokesman for radical Islamic insurgents says his group will seize weapons the U.S. has supplied to Somalia’s embattled government.” (AP)  With props to http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2009/06/29/small-arms-shipped-to-somalia/#comment-11480  Oh the Pirates of Somalia must be drunk with joy.

Why not just drop million of  dollars over the war zones and give everyone an equal chance to steal from America for all the good sending weapons there will do?   How many times in U.S. history have we financed and trained foreign armies only to have them retaliate and fire back at U.S. soldiers?

In the U.S., Michael Jackson continues to dominate the news as we anticipate our own nation’s public holiday, the 4th of July- Independence Day.  Need you be reminded, banks will be closed.

Playing with a nuclear North Korea and its leader Kim Jong-il, could be deadly.

Legalizing Marijuana & Opium in The New World Order

Just when I think American economists and politicians have the slightest clue about the most basic facts of world affairs, international trade, or the nature of money, I am reminded yet again of the hypocrisy of this financial and social abyss toward which America is heading in the pecking order of the New World Order.

The U.S. government owns the banks and the car industry.  It sets the rules, makes them up as it goes along and has control over the money supply.  It apparently has no oversight as the Fed in May tap danced around the missing  NINE TRILLION DOLLARS that we could sure use about now. 

Say nothing of main stream media whose focus on the deaths of Michael Jackson is a slap in the face. Icon, perhaps but a role model-hardly. What about all the dead soldiers from U.S. Wars and the one’s breathing  in over 130 foreign countries?  No views of them in the nightly news.

No worries though, Congressman Barney Frank (D-MA), Chairman of the Financial Services Committee, introduced legislation decriminalizing marijuana at the federal level again. If passed, the legislation would eliminate criminal penalties for possessing 100 grams or less of marijuana for personal use.  Not to be outdone, San Francisco Assemblyman Tom Ammiano announced the introduction of a bill to tax and regulate marijuana like alcohol in the state of California.  Yippee,  another government owned industry!  Obama just signed a huge tax increase on tobacco, I can only image the tax on a joint.

“The Ammiano legislation would create a regulatory structure for that market similar to that for beer, wine and liquor: it would regulate taxed sales to adults while barring sales to or possession by those under 21. Maybe the U.S. Government can subsidizes pot growers like it does cotton, corn, soybean and other farming industries with my tax dollars.  Maybe we can trade it on the commodities exchange and all the traders can get a little profit too.  I wonder what currency it will trade-  USD, Amero, Acmetal, Euro…? 

The rest of the world is focusing on a new reserve currency in the New World Order and we focus on legalizing pot and subsidizing farmers in Afghanistan. As of the 111th Congress, Frank is also advocating a 25 percent reduction in the overall Military budget of the United States.

The Huffington Post http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/27/us-announces-shift-in-afg_n_221826.html says that “The United States has announced a new drug policy for opium-rich Afghanistan, saying it was phasing out funding for eradication programs while significantly increasing its funding for alternate crop and drug interdiction efforts. The War on drugs in the U.S has thousands in prison for drugs with our failing policies here, and we are expected to believe that sending millions there will be a deterrent?  I still have that little island in the desert for sale if anyone is interested.

Last week when leaders of the so-called BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, India and China) held their first summit.  The BRIC countries comprise 15 per cent of the world economy, 40 per cent of global currency reserves and half the world’s population.  The governments of BRIC and must be laughing like they were smoking marijuana and injecting heroin at America.  Our elected officials focus on legalizing pot rather than be bothered with the cumbersome announcement from Russian President Dmitri Medvedev that the U.S dollar is on notice.

“The artificially maintained unipolar system”, he lectured, is based on “one big centre of consumption, financed by a growing deficit and … one formerly strong reserve currency.” At the root of the global financial crisis, he concluded, is that the US makes too little and spends too much.   “The summit must create the conditions for a fairer world order.” …The BRICs have put the US dollar on notice, and are already finding alternatives as a means of clearing accounts. Medvedev called for the IMF to include the Russian ruble and the Chinese yuan in the basket of currencies used to value its financial products. But that is just for starters. Bank Holiday Coming; In God We Trust or Obama?

Whew, finally summer has arrived and we survived the horrendous winter weather.  Folks in NJ got a big surprise last week with a huge hailstorm wrecking  havoc http://www.northjersey.com/multimedia/video/48114892.html -again illustrating the disproportion between science and reality. BTW- The House passed the American Clean Energy and Security Act, by a vote of 219-212.

The kids are off school and we are sleeping in a bit and planning for a few summer holidays.  We are  not leaving U.S. Soil- the greatest place on earth, even with all its faults.  Hawaii is out with North Korea threatening a missile attack near Independence Day.  California?  Nah, besides sitting on a major earthquake fault line, is too liberal for me.  MTV has been broadcasting all about Cancun, but we’ve been there and done that and I see no reason to support a government that can not manage to report influenza cases in a timely manner. ” Bahamas, Bermuda, Come on Pretty Mama”…The Beach Boys.  Suggestions welcomed on where to go.

Our holiday is still up for discussion as the economy just sucks and I have been tortured into hearing more about alleged pedophile Michael Jackson than necessary. 

Flipping to the net, I see Ben Bernanke the Fed Chair is feeling a bit challenged over Ron Paul’s Transparency Act that would allow an audit of the Fed.  Oh boo hoo, where did our nine trillion dollars go, why doesn’t anyone know and most importantly, what is there to hide?

Wherever and whenever we go, if we go at all-  like many Americans we go to the bank and take out what I call ‘play money’.  You know, money to play with- to buy the things we don’t really need but really want- like a Summer Vacation- preferably at the unpolluted, jelly fish free beaches.  

What if the banks go on holiday?  I am cognizant of the FDR bank holiday. 1000’s of banks never reopened in a face saving measure.  How many of our banks have no value, burdened by debt and bad mortgages?  How many banks are now owned by the U.S. Government?  How would I get to my safe deposit box if the bank was out of business?  Would it’s meager contents have any value anyways?

The hissy fit regulators are having near seizures over opening their books to public scrutiny, and once again I have to adjust antennae to tune in to exactly what the hell is going on and if bank closures could happen.

A bank holiday would certainly push the dollar’s value lower adding more rational to BRICs plan of adopting other IMF baskets of currencies.  Gold, already at a high premium would most likely increase, especially with the U.S. Mint announcing that there is a shortage of gold to produce certain coins.  The mint will continue to issue Presidential Coins and, “In God We Trust” will appear on the face of the coin starting in 2009. http://www.usmint.gov/mint%5Fprograms/%241coin/ Surely all that glitters is not gold.  I Trust in God, but the Fed, Obama, The World Bank or International Monetary Fund?

A Bank Holiday might just suit the needs of the U.S. economy according to some.  The rumor mill is that U.S Embassies are buying local currency. The Harry Schultz Letter (HSL) seems to reiterate that a Bank Holiday could occur http://www.marketwatch.com/story/schultz-paints-bleak-picture-of-future?siteid=rss&rss=1   With a grain of salt I quote its current issue, HSL reports rumors that “Some U.S. embassies worldwide are being advised to purchase massive amounts of local currencies; enough to last them a year. Some embassies are being sent enormous amounts of U.S. cash to purchase currencies from those governments, quietly. But not pound sterling. Inside the State Dept., there is a sense of sadness and foreboding that ‘something’ is about to happen … within 180 days, but could be 120-150 days.”

One commentator at  put it like this:  If true, the reason is this. Our Embassies all over the world employ millions of local nationals. Day to day operating costs are staggering, from food purchasing to fuel purchasing to utilities to meeting the local payroll. Local currency pays for all those expenses. When the USD crashes, local currencies may not be able to be purchased with USD’s. Even in a slow-mo devaluation, trying to buy enough local currency for day to day operation will be very very expensive. President Obama is attempting to federalize the police and Department of Defense across the US with his civilian workforce.  If the shit hits the fan, banks go on holiday by September,civil unrest and Martial Law occurs between the money and the flu, the government will be all ready to take care of us. cough, cough.

Auditing The Federal Reserve is long overdue.  http://www.federalreserve.gov/oig/oig_bio.htm Elizabeth Coleman as the inspector general of the Federal Reserve of the United States and is supposed to be responsible for preventing and detecting waste, fraud, and abuse, but in a videotaped Congressional testimony, she acknowledged that she can’t account for many trillions of dollars of our taxpayers money. TRILLIONS.   Specifically she says she knows nothing about nine trillion dollars ($9,000,000,000,000) that is claimed to be unaccounted for.

In an effort to find trillions of dollars we turn to The Federal Reserve Transparency Act, “To amend title 31, United States Code, to reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States and the manner in which such audits are reported, and for other purposes. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-1207 .  By my account it must have taken several years to misplace so much money, so any deceit has been going on for years. 

While the the Reserve is owned by its member banks and not by the government, it issues currency and charges interest.  These banks certainly would never want an audit, but the American people do and so does Congressman Ron Paul with over 200 of your elected officials as co-sponsors of the bill.   www.ronpaul.com continues to crash my system so enter at your own risk.

We need to bring accountability to the Federal Reserve now before Obama and anyone else in government spends one more dime.  Have these people been tripping over quarters to pick up pennies for so long to be so ignorant and incompetent or it it just the little old taxpayer who continues to deny we are in a financial meltdown?

Fawcett & Jackson Dead Talent

PEOPLE-FAWCETT/Backyard 07003

Sometimes the things we love just fade away and die, but not people we care about.  This plant from our backyard is actually an unusual azalea that sneaks up on you in spring; one day providing just a tease, the next day illuminating joy, and the following day dead foliage. I suppose that’s how some folks perceive movie star icons.

Today, Farrah Fawcett died at 62 years young http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1194730/Charlies-Angels-pin-actress-Farrah-Fawcett-dies-Ryan-ONeal-losing-battle-rectal-cancer.html  and Michael Jackson died who was only 50. Farrah made her battle with cancer very public and showed her courage.

Michael Jackson died apparently of cardiac arrest. Investigators are likely to focus that he suffered a long term addiction to painkillers. Last month it was alleged he was struggling to make  a handful of the rehearsals for his comeback tour in Britain.

I am old enough to have had posters of the both of them on my door.  Who could resist Farrah’s hair?  The New York Times called it ‘a work of art that looked as if it had just come out of the sea and been tossed by the wind into a state of careless perfection’ and was ’emblematic of women in the first stage of liberation — strong, confident and joyous.’ 

Who could change the terrestrial radio channel when the songs of Michael Jackson were being played? Both had talent that can not be denied.

Fawcett’s son, Redmond remains in prison at the age of 24 for heroin possession, while Jackson’s children must be cloaked as always wondering what’s going on in the universe of weird.  The singer leaves three children; Prince Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson II, known as ‘Blanket’. 

Hope these kids don’t grow up hating their names or dad. Ex-wife Debbie Rowe must be standing at the ready.

Whatever Fuc{ up life throws at you; pray that these two are remembered for talent not the trivial defect of being human.

Martial Law Under Public Health Emergency

Could civil unrest and Martial Law really come to The  U.S. in light of the Flu Pandemic or some other catastrophe?

This ad comes to us from the folks at MTV from a few years ago.  Why MTV, and why purpose did the commercial have?  Certainly there are better means to educate society about the Holocaust than this. 

Are the producers trying to issue a sort of public service announcement in advance of H.R. 675?  http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h675/text  Sec. 1585b of the  bill would  amend Title 10 of US Code to extends to civilian employees of the Department of Defense the authority to execute warrants, make arrests, and carry firearms for any offense against the U.S.  Is this just another loophole to create more federal authority and a federal police force? 

Remember The Posse Comitatus Act? It is supposed to limit the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement, but it has been abandoned  for all intents as we now have active duty troops stationed on our soil to defend us against each other.  Soldiers were so kind to even help out at the Boston Marathon.  Military deployment and collaboration with local law enforcement agents is now common place since incidents like Katrina,  with check and balances against corruption gone like the city of New Orleans was. 

The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.R._5122_(2006)   changed federal law so that a Governor of a state was  no longer the sole commander in chief of their state’s National Guard, a direct violation of Article I, Section 10 and Clause 3 of the Constitution. It also allowed the President to declare a public emergency and station the military anywhere in America and take control of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or local authorities. Ft. Detrick Lab Missing 9000 Virus Vials; Scientists Still Dying from Unnatural Causes

When the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center at Fort Detrick is fully operational in March[ sic 2009], about 150 scientists in the lab will be tasked with protecting the country from a bioterrorist attack through prevention or containment. After Fort Detrick anthrax researcher Bruce E. Ivins killed himself in July, the FBI announced that he alone was responsible for anthrax mailings that killed five people and sickened 17 others in 2001.

Dr. Vladimir Pasechnik, a former microbiologist for Biopreparat, the Soviet biological-weapons production facility was found dead.

Dr. Robert M. Schwartz was found murdered in Leesberg, Virginia. Dr. Schwartz was a well-known DNA sequencing researcher. He founded the Virginia Biotechnology Association where he worked on DNA sequencing.

The head of the microbiology sub-faculty of the Russian State Medical University, Victor Korshunov has been killed.

Dr. Tanya Holzmayer, a pioneering Russian born genomic scientist who had co-invented a tool that has helped find hundreds of molecular targets to combat cancer and HIV was found shot dead by a  former colleague .

David Wynn-Williams, an award-winning microbiologist died when he was struck by a vehicle while out jogging. In 2000 he was appointed leader of the Antarctic Astrobiology Project, which explores the effects of environmental stress at the limits of life on Earth

It is not only microbiologists who are dying in extraordinary circumstances.  On June 13, 2009 the carcass of Indian famous nuclear scientist Lokanathan Mahalingam found from Kali River. The scientist had been mysteriously disappeared from the Kaiga Atomic Power Station on June 8, 2009. In an interview broadcast on Monday evening by CBS, Mr. Obama said: “This administration – and our military – is fully prepared for any contingencies.”

More than likely we are seeing reduction in the A/H1N1 Swine Flu exposure rate among children because school’s out for summer recess in most parts of the U.S.   By September children will begin returning to the classroom and the cesspool of germs. Schoolchildren could be first in line for swine flu vaccine this fall- and schools are being put on notice that they might be turned into shot clinics.   

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is urging school superintendents around the country to spend the summer preparing for that possibility, if the government goes ahead with mass vaccinations, “If you think about vaccinating kids, schools are the logical place,” Sebelius told The Associated Press. 

In taking away more parental rights, it is the government making choices, not the parents choice in taking the child to the doctor.

The Obama Administration’s Propaganda and PR Team is preparing an all out “trust your government and health officials campaign,” asking American’s to get not one, not two, but three flu shots.  Lest we forget how many people trusted the government in the 1976 Swine Flu outbreak that infected vaccinated recruits at Ft Dix?

Recent Department of Veterans Affairs Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans’ Illnesses Scientific Findings and Recommendations validated concerns that “studies have indicated that the current anthrax vaccine is associated with high rates of acute adverse reactions.” in a report The Anthrax Vaccine: A Dilemma for Homeland Security by  Lt. Col. Thomas Rempfer, USAF – The Journal of the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security – Wednesday June 17, 2009. Sustained circulation? Genetically changed?  Caused by the Polio vaccine?

Will we see a resurgence for a sustained of Polio next? What kind of genetic changes could we expect/H1N1 to mutate into on its own, let along with individuals who got vaccinated?

Swine influenza is not a food-borne zoonosis. Moreover, there is no evidence suggesting that this novel virus behaves in a different way from the other swine influenza viruses and spreads to humans via food containing pork or pork products. With regard to infection of pigs via feeding, account should be taken of the intra-species feeding ban. This is also supported by the initial data on experimental infection of piglets that have become available in recent weeks, indicating infection of only the respiratory tract and no other tissues and absence of detectable viraemia. 

Only in the respiratory tract of pigs?  Only?  Noting the ban in the intra-species feeding, perhaps now would be a good time to become a vegetarian as we humans are intra- species meat eaters. If the virus is only in the respiratory tract would it be fair to say it is being transmitted via airborne not only in pigs but perhaps in humans as well? 

Every day during the school year, more than 30 million children receive free or reduced-price lunches under the federal National School Lunch Program, and 10 million get breakfast under the National School Breakfast Program.
