Iceland’s Volcanic Ash Dust Cloud Heading to North America, is Martial Law Coming With it?

The volcanic ash cloud forecast from eruptions from the Eyjafjallajokull glacier looks to have the ash cloud heading toward the eastern part of Canada and perhaps the eastern coast of the U.S.A. depending on weather patterns. “Another setback came on Monday evening for millions of stranded passengers as Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull volcano sent a fresh cloud of ash 15,000 feet into the air. If the volcano’ s dust reaches the U.S. can you imagine the chaos of closed airspace?

The Royal Navy was dispatched in the U.K to help stranded passengers, even as Fox is reporting that the Brits are re-opening some airspace. Americans, by and large are civil peaceful beings- but being told that airspace is being restricted or closed due to an invisible ash cloud, well that might just put the loonies over the edge.

Would governors declare states of emergency calling out the national guard? Ah, but the The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 later repealed by the Insurrection Act gives the President the ability to declare a public emergency and station the military anywhere in America and take control of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or local authorities. EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.

Here are the later Executive Orders:

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 12148 created the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) that is to interface with the Department of Defense for civil defense planning and funding. An “emergency czar” was appointed. FEMA has only spent about 6 percent of its budget on national emergencies, the bulk of their funding has been used for the construction of secret underground facilities to assure continuity of government in case of a major emergency, foreign or domestic.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 12656 appointed the National Security Council as the principal body that should consider emergency powers. This allows the government to increase domestic intelligence and surveillance of U.S. citizens and would restrict the freedom of movement within the United States and granted the government the right to isolate large groups of civilians. The National Guard could be federalized to seal all borders and take control of U.S. air space and all ports of entry. Many of the figures in the Iran-Contra scandal were part of this emergency contingent, including Marine Colonel Oliver North.

Officials said this was not in response to any single development on an outbreak that has lasted months and has killed more than 1,000 people in the United States. So why declare a National Emergency now?

What else has killed 1000 people in the United States in the same period of time? Drugs, violence, heart attacks, cancer, car accidents, suicides, vaccines?

Where is the Swine Flu Czar to usurp the Constitution?

Why would the U.S. Government allow this? Putting on a legitimate face does not preclude XE, Blackwater, or The American Police Force from being a militia. Could say China, Russia or anyone of a number of countries with enough money, hire them to carry out these tasks upon America? While anti-government sentiment is on the rise with peaceful tea party gatherings, the rest of the world does not look to have a party, but would love to over throw the U.S.A. Swine Flu, H1N1 remains a threat to not only to our health, but to The Constitution of The United States itself giving the federal and state governments more power to eliminate your personal freedoms.

Government authorities are preparing a massive flu vaccine campaign just as they did for the previous Swine Flu epidemic whose vaccine killed more people than the disease.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Education (ED) and Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, have teamed up to launch a new, national public service advertising campaign designed to encourage American children and families to practice healthy habits and to take steps to prevent the spread of the 2009 H1N1 flu virus. While President Obama is pondering yet another press conference to address the nation on his faltering health care reform, you can bet your last dime he won’t mention his potential ability to seize the Internet, require mandatory vaccines, quarantines and FEMA’s charge to take control of the country.

By declaration of the Public Health Emergency months ago, The Stafford Act or as it has been renamed- the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 gives FEMA the responsibility for coordinating government-wide relief efforts. The Federal Response Plan it implements includes the contributions of 28 federal agencies and non-governmental organizations.

The recent “REPORT TO THE PRESIDENT ON U.S. PREPARATIONS FOR 2009-H1N1 INFLUENZA August 7, 2009 http://www.whitehouse.gov/assets/documents/PCAST_H1N1_Report.pdf lists a scary landscape of abuse including recommendations like-

…that Federal, state, and local authorities may take unilateral action such as border closure, seizure of essential commodities, or curtailment of individual freedoms, out of fear or as a result of public pressure…. We also recommend that the National Security Council, led by the Homeland Security Advisor, undertake a systematic review of potential legal, social, and financial barriers to action, to determine which might reasonably be ameliorated….

Numerous states aren’t waiting for President Obama, FEMA, the CDC or Homeland Security to ameliorate our Constitution and have begun legislation that erodes your personal freedom. The Tenth Amendment restates the Constitution’s principle of federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states or the people. Today, AP is reporting that officials with Emory University in Atlanta say around 50 students with swine flu have been moved to a separate dorm. The latest press release issues the same unknowns and warnings from the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) releases report assessing H1N1 preparations.

Then the report makes an about face possible prediction that-

By the end of 2009, 60 to 120 million Americans would have experienced symptomatic infection with 2009-H1N1; nearly 1 to 2 million would have been hospitalized, with about 150,000-300,000 cared for in ICUs; and somewhere between 30,000 and 90,000 people would have died, the majority of them under 50 years of age.

We might not know what the flu has in store and tracking it is cumbersome so these esteemed folks think that, “This may be accomplished through web-based or telephone-based surveys. (p 25) Has the government not learned a lesson in asking you to report web sites to the White House that disagree with President Obama’s health and insurance reform policies? Survey says, yes I have the flu…knock, knock we’re coming to take you away?

Pg 45 outlines “an improbable prediction that Federal, state, and local authorities may take unilateral action such as border closure, seizure of essential commodities, or curtailment of individual freedoms, out of fear or as a result of public pressure…. We also recommend that the National Security Council, led by the Homeland Security Advisor, undertake a systematic review of potential legal, social, and financial barriers to action, to determine which might reasonably be ameliorated [sic- love those big words!] during the time of the anticipated epidemic and to set plans in motion to reduce or remove such barriers in accord with the observed severity of the epidemic.” p 47.

Curtailment of individual freedoms? Seizure of essential commodities? Legal barriers, like The Constitution?

p 49 -We recommend that if the Secretary of DHHS declares a Public Health Emergency, the President consider issuing a Stafford Act declaration so that hospitals can more effectively triage and treat patients. What exactly would require air transport? People. Dead people, sick people, people who refuse a vaccination?

Where would the air transports go? Remember the Federal Management Land Grab act that reduced access to huge chunks of America? FEMA Camps?

Could civil unrest and Martial Law really come to The U.S. in light of the Flu Pandemic or some other catastrophe?

This ad comes to us from the folks at MTV from a few years ago. Why MTV, and why purpose did the commercial have? Certainly there are better means to educate society about the Holocaust than this.

Are the producers trying to issue a sort of public service announcement in advance of H.R. 675? http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h675/text Sec. 1585b of the bill would amend Title 10 of US Code to extends to civilian employees of the Department of Defense the authority to execute warrants, make arrests, and carry firearms for any offense against the U.S. Is this just another loophole to create more federal authority and a federal police force?

Remember The Posse Comitatus Act? It is supposed to limit the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement, but it has been abandoned for all intents as we now have active duty troops stationed on our soil to defend us against each other. Soldiers were so kind to even help out at the Boston Marathon. Military deployment and collaboration with local law enforcement agents is now common place since incidents like Katrina, with check and balances against corruption gone like the city of New Orleans was.

The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.R._5122_(2006) changed federal law so that a Governor of a state was no longer the sole commander in chief of their state’s National Guard, a direct violation of Article I, Section 10 and Clause 3 of the Constitution. It also allowed the President to declare a public emergency and station the military anywhere in America and take control of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or local authorities. The U.S. Constitution has apparently been suspended in parts of America in an effort to protect its borders from everything from illegal immigration to terrorists. Rightful to protect its border, except that the border has been seemingly redefined to include a 100 mile wide strip that goes around the entire “external boundary” of the entire United States.

Over 20 people have been killed after a firefighting system went off during sea trials on board the Nerpa, a nuclear submarine in Russia’s Pacific Fleet. The sub was on a test run in the Sea of Japan with 208 people aboard 81 of whom were servicemen. Submariners and ship builders were killed, the AP reports.

“The construction of the Akula II class Nerpa nuclear attack submarine started in 1991 but has been suspended for over a decade due to lack of funding. Akula II class vessels are considered the quietest and deadliest of Russian nuclear-powered attack submarines. The submarine, built under a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry, has been moved from the shipyard in Komsomolsk-on-Amur to a maintenance facility in the Primorye Territory and fitted with all necessary equipment. At present it is undergoing sea trials,” a spokesman for the shipyard told RIA Novosti. Indian media have reported on various occasions that the construction of the submarine was partially financed by the Indian government. India has reportedly paid $650 million for a 10-year lease of the 12,000-ton submarine. Nerpa is expected to join the Indian navy under the designation INS Chakra in the second half of 2009.”

In 2003, eleven people died on a Russian sub being taken out of service sank in the Barents Sea. Even with this new failure, Russia has seen success. From SEVEROMORSK, October 11 (RIA Novosti) – A Russian submarine has for the first time test launched the Sineva ballistic missile to its maximum range from the Barents Sea to an equatorial part of the Pacific Ocean. The exercise drills involved more than 5,000 military personnel, eight surface ships and five submarines. “The RSM-54 Sineva (NATO designation SS-N-23 Skiff) is a third-generation liquid-propellant intercontinental ballistic missile that entered service with the Russian Navy in July 2007. This serious naval accident and other SNAFUs like this, only remind us how unstable nuclear warhead missiles are in the hands of the Russians. Had the explosion resulted in the launch of a nuclear torpedo, millions of people could be dead, accidentally. Russia has been holding joint naval exercises with close U.S. neighbor Venezuela, snubbing America’s Monroe Doctrine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monroe_Doctrine that was used symbolically when the Soviet Union began building missile launch sites in Cuba.

Charles Rangel’s National Service Act, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_National_Service_Act which is languishing before Congress, provides for a universal draft with two years of service for virtually all persons aged 18-42, with no deferment for college. The purpose of Rangel’s bill is seems to reflect Obama’s desires:

“To require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or in civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security . . . .”

a civilian capacity that, as determined by the President, promotes the national defense, including national or community service and service related to homeland security.
