Obama is The Toxic Asset

Obama looks to propose a minimum of a one trillion dollar deficit every single year for the next ten years.  That’s TEN with 13 zero’s behind it.  “United States President Barack Obama’s budget would produce US$9.3 trillion (S$14trillion) in deficits over the next decade, an eye-popping figure that threatens his ambitious goals to overhaul health care and explore new energy sources, say congressional auditors.” Reported Bloomberg News and posted at http://blog.hotvictory.com/2009/03/22/obamas-budget-will-create-14-trillion-deficit-washington/

There is no way America will be able to sustain that amount of debt and still have any attempt at staying a capitalist society.  The trillions of debt amount to the purchase of pure socialism.  Obama is all swerving all over the road and while I hope he doesn’t get run over, his posturing in the middle of the road, is paramount to not only an increase in government spending, but an increasing reliability upon government spending and stimulus’.

Secretary Timothy Geithner and the Treasury Department are expected to release more carnage on our fragile economy and stock market this week with a long overdue plan to buy as much as US$1trillion (US$1.5trillion) in troubled mortgages and related assets from financial institutions.   “It intends to create a government body, called the Public Investment Corp., to finance the purchase of as much as $1 trillion in soured loans and toxic assets from ailing banks, according to sources.  The plan calls for the new entity to combine its resources with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., the Federal Reserve and private investors to buy those loans and other assets.”   http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/03/21/AR2009032102246.html  Who’s going to insure these deals?  FDIC? ROFLMAO!  Who will oversee PIC?  The government of course! 

Geithner already in hot water over the AIG bonuses that were paid,  his tax evasion problems, and his inability to hire any staff members.  Every idea he has had, has further eroded the American people’s confidence in his ability to guide the nation out of financial disaster.    Obama on the other hand loves “Timmy Boy” Geithner and in an interview with CBS TV, Obama said Geithner’s job was secure, and that he would not accept Mr Geithner’s resignation even if it was offered. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/03/22/2522876.htm?section=justin

Coaxing private investors to form partnerships with the government to buy toxic assets from the banks is the best that Obama and Geithner can come up with?  While I am no economist, I see more of my tax payer dollars are going to pay for toxic debt that no one wants in the first place.  Even if there was no interest on the loans or taxpayer subsidies, why would anyone want to buy that kind of debt- let alone go into business with our government?  There are very few private investors left.  Geithner assumes someone will actually bid at an auction of assets!  Can China and Russia place their bids too?  Maybe Abu Dabbi?  Abu Dabbi loaned around $7 billion to Citigroup last year so they may be feeling a bit pinched.  Madagascar? I hear the economy is doing great.

While both types of assets — the loans and the complex securities — have dropped, so has everything else including the unemployment rate.  What is beyond toxic and to nearer to annihilation, is that nothing that has come from Obama, Congress, The Senate or The Treasury Department that puts people back to work independent of reliance on the government.   The plan for a Public Investment Corp., and the ideals that Obama believes that creating trillions in debt are nothing but toxic to democracy.   

What do workers do when all the bridges are finished being built with taxpayer money and we’ve all switched over to compact fluorescent bulbs?  In America, where where the individual used to be king and had every chance to make his own fortune, citizens may have to turn the lights off and light a candle to the change Obama promised.  Can you spell SOcIaLiSm?

Want to bet the candles are make with toxic lead wicks from China?

How’s that for a New World Order?  Alas, in the New World Order, Obama is once again pre-empting regular tv programming Tuesday night with another public address to the country.  While Obama may not be hiding from us, I’d rather watch American Idol.  I wonder if he’ll make fun of the Special Olympics during prime time or if bad manners go along with ignorance all the time.

March Forth on March Fourth

President Obama, regarding government contracts said that his administration will stop outsourcing to private contractors many services that should be performed by government employees.  Again, making the government bigger at the expense of the private sector. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/03/04/obama-pledge-cut-government-waste/100days/

No matter how big the government gets, individuals do matter, even in Obamatimes.  It is the private sector that has spurned capitalism, it is the Obama administration that is relinquishing and further eroding free market economics.  Admitting that he is not following the daily” fluctuations” and concerns on Wall Street while millions loose their house, savings, jobs and shirts is ludicrous

Bush’s economic policies were holding their own ground until he was faced with Barney Frank’s Frannie/Freddie and the mortgage crisis that was helped in part by Obama’s ACORN, and he lost his marbles with an idiotic statement like, “I had to abandon free market principles to save the free market.”   Oh, President Bush, you broke my heart.

I recall it was President Bill Clinton era Federal regulations that set up the housing crisis that started this slide.  Most certainly every single member of Congress is responsible for allowing to ignore it.

Every time someone in the Obama administration opens their mouth regarding fiscal policy, the markets tank-so shut up already.  Obama made the commitment with more bailouts, and budgets lined with more pork continuing to ignore his own campaign promises.  

While Blagojevich and Burris have been found guilty in the court of public opinion, we can look back and see Obama himself was and is well versed in performing the quid pro quo and pork he has promised to eliminate. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-0705030035may03,0,3860794.story  “”My philosophy was that, if money was being distributed, then it would be inappropriate for me to not get my share for my district.”

Our president, who seemingly is so set on having the government responsible for every detail of our lives has forgotten that you don’t need to have a “citizen army” or “citizen service” in order to get something done.  That “All communities to build upon the strength of our nation’s diversity of ideas, experience, and perspectives as we unite to serve. WE ARE READY to meet the challenges of our time. We are ready to do our part in America’s timeless quest for a more perfect union, and I am ready to begin now by adding my name to this Declaration,” reads more like a sign up sheet to join the Nazi Party than it does to offer a lending hand to our country. http://www.bethechangeaction.org/pledge/sign  Why anyone signs this pledge is beyond me.  Plenty of people volunteer without signing a pledge from Obama.

I am not completely heartless and actually do volunteer and make donations- which I think are no longer tax deductible under Obama.  Anyways, a few years ago a dear friend of ours prepared to celebrate her milestone 40th birthday on March 4th.  “I wondered what legacy, a simple woman like me with no fame, no wealth and no children, could leave. ”  In response to this, she looked to where her fortunes does lie – within dear friends and family scattered across the country, and asked all to help create a shared legacy.  To collectively, open our eyes and really LOOK at those around us…and to reach out in kindness.  The tradition continues this year, as it will for many years ahead.  Until we don’t need reminded to slow down and care for our neighbors.

The site says, “March 4th is more than just a day…it’s our legacy.”  The Obama administration is more than just four years…it could be the legacy that destroys democracy with complete reliance on hand outs from government, rather than the willing hand of a neighbor.  
One individual person made a difference to come up with March Forth on March fourth.  It might be that Hillary Clinton was right in saying, “It takes a village.”  It shouldn’t take a government.

No Compromise on Stimulus Deals, Show Me The Money

Oh the hilarity of calling it a compromise stimulus package.  The American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan report is about 778 pages of political wrangling and the public has only been given about 24 hours to review it before a final vote.

Where is the damned Generational Theft Act that the Congressional Budget Office has referred to as, The American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan?  I’d like to read every last page.  It sure as hell is not on the White House web pages, as it states, “The President remains committed to bringing more transparency to government, and in this spirit the White House will continue to publish legislation expected to come to his desk on line for public comment as it moves through Congress.”    http://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing_room/OfficialStatements/  

President Obama resolutely promised change and transparency indicating that,  “Too often bills are rushed through Congress and to the president before the public has the opportunity to review them. As president, Obama will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American public an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website for five days.  Key word here- NON EMERGENCY.  http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog_post/update_on_sunlight_before_signing/ This is an emergency if ever there was one. One trillion tomorrow, two trillion the next day, defines emergency in my dictionary.

 The White House blog itself was just updated after three three days of inactivity. http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog_post/first_flights/  features his first trip on Air Force One and highlights his Democratic Caucus trip saying, “We have to accommodate the interests of a range of people.  And the House is going to have to work with the Senate.  But let’s think big right now.  Let’s not think small.”  What I am thinking is big government sucks.

I’d rather stand in the unemployment line for five more days than have this rushed through legislation and not put it out there for us little people- the tax payer to look at.  I want to know who exactly proposed spending $75 million for “smoking cessation activities,  $75 million for salaries of employees at the FBI and the $25 million for tribal alcohol and substance abuse reduction just to name a few.  C’mon, who?  What gall. 

There are a whole host of concerns that we all have but now is not the time to worry about stop smoking and drinking. 

Show me the money honey and while I’m thinking about it, why in the sam hell does  The President have time to write an Op-Ed piece for Wa-Po?  Is there nothing else he could be doing than taking the time for this?  Like giving orders to post the damned “plans” on the website before he signs them?

Geithner’s new plan appears designed to stem the government’s up-front costs to the federal budget but could nevertheless expose taxpayers to as much as $2 trillion more in potential obligations to the financial industry. 

I’d like to read the Financial Stability and Recovery Plan before it goes into law too, but even Open Congress doesn’t provide this.

Might as well turn in my conservative blogger badge now and say hello to government controlled capitalism as we allocate nearly three trillion dollars in three days.

Generational Theft Act Battles

The stimulus bailout money does not immediately stimulate anything except my blood pressure. 

Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) introduced an amendment to prohibit any funds in the economic stimulus bill from going to museums, theaters, or arts centers among other things.  http://www.ruthulrich.com/?p=274 has the whole rundown on what should be off limits for a stimulus and most of it makes sense.

The language of the amendment against what Coburn calls the Generational Theft Act , (Amendment No. 175, as filed) is in part that, “None of the amounts appropriated or otherwise made available by this Act may be used for any casino or other gambling establishment, aquarium, zoo, golf course, swimming pool, stadium, community park, museum, theater, arts center, or highway beautification project, including renovation, remodeling, construction, salaries, furniture, zero-gravity chairs, big screen televisions, beautification, rotating pastel lights, and dry heat saunas.” 

People just don’t seem to get it as “What bothers me is that museums, arts centers, and theaters are lumped in with casinos, swimming pools, rotating pastel lights, and zero-gravity chairs.  What in the holy living hell is the relation between the arts and a highway beautification project?” asks  http://klacknermusic.wordpress.com/   The relationship is simple, it does not stimulate the economy immediately and having a job, food and a place to live usurps everything else.  

Who can support this spending of invisible money that will come from our children’s children to benefit a politician sitting in a brand new cushy chair?  Apparently Nancy Pelosi.  People are standing in food lines for heaven’s sake.   Welcome to the American dream in high reverse- Lehigh Acres Florida and hundreds of other cities where no one gives a rats ass about a new community park, museum, theater, arts center, right now.  Highlighted in http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/08/us/08lehigh.html?_r=1&em&exprod=myyahoo  People need private sector jobs and it is the private sector that needs the loans to stimulate the economy.

Coburn says “The fundamental problem with this bill is that it fails to address the root problem, which continues to be toxic assets in the mortgage market. The bill also includes a reckless bailout to states that would effectively nationalize state governments….“The bill also contains numerous provisions that are about stimulating long-frustrated ideological agendas rather than the economy….the American people will be nauseated by the numerous and shameless.

In a WSJ article, Coburn wrote, “What is not in the bill is as troubling as what is. The package does nothing to clear the toxic assets and bad mortgages that helped trigger the credit crisis. It also contains very little meaningful tax relief to make small businesses and American companies more competitive. Instead, the tax provisions of the stimulus are essentially a modest cash handout that repeats the failed policy of George W. I want Ross Perot to come out of the woodwork and help fix Pelosi’s posturing around like a chicken who just laid the golden egg.  Perot tried to gave heads up years ago- warning of the sucking sound of jobs from NAFTA among other things. No wonder he buried his head back in the private sector so as not to have to breath the same stale hot air that has been expelled in the beltway for years.

• $448 million for constructing the Dept. of Homeland Security headquarters
• $248 million for furniture at the new Dept. of Homeland Security headquarters
• $600 million to buy hybrid vehicles for federal employees
• $400 million for the CDC to screen and prevent STD’s
• $1.4 billion for a rural waste disposal programs
• $150 million for Smithsonian museum facilities
• $1 billion for the 2010 Census, which has a projected cost overrun of $3 billion
• $75 million for “smoking cessation activities”
• $200 million for public computer centers at community colleges
• $75 million for salaries of employees at the FBI
• $25 million for tribal alcohol and substance abuse reduction
• $10 million to inspect canals in urban areas
• $6 billion to turn federal buildings into “green” buildings

• State Medicaid Bailout: $87.7 billion Through 3 different mechanisms, the bill would provide additional federal funds to state Medicaid programs over the next 3 years. This is nearly $70 billion more than the governors asked President Obama for in December, and should be a loan to be repaid by the states.

The Obama Pie, No Cake

The O tactics are shoving socialism right down America’s throat, and I for one am choking. 

“Top executives at firms receiving extra-ordinary help from U.S. Taxpayers will have their compensation capped at $500,000.  A fraction of the salaries that have been reported recently”, said Obama. 

Say goodbye to capitalism.  In trying to improve everyone’s life, our new government under Mr. O will dictate how much money you can make. The government prints the money, is turning our banks toward national ownership and is taking another step toward socialism by limiting earnings. 

Obama’s team is giving away too many pieces of the pie.  Obama’s foremost adviser, his wife Michelle, said, “Most Americans don’t want much. Folks don’t want the whole pie.  Most Americans feel blessed to thrive a little bit. It is more than just a redistribution of pie.  Wake the frig up- where has Mrs. Obama been to say that we feel blessed to thrive just a little bit?  Why go to work if your earning potential is limited and you have to feed everyone else while you do the work? 

Not only do I want all of my pie President & Mrs. Obama, but I want my cake and I want to eat it too.  I want to eat my pie on my terms, every last stinking crumb seeing as it was my hard earned paycheck that I alone earned to buy the pie in the first place.  I cashed it, I got the taxes taken out and I have the right to keep it all to myself; that is my prerogative.  Democracy is supposed to give me the right to share my pie, not require me.

Free Market Principles Abandoned for New World Order

Did that shoe really hit Bush in the head for him to make such a statement asks http://flapsblog.com/2008/12/16/did-the-iraqi-journalists-shoe-really-hit-george-w-bush-in-the-head/.  Venezuela’s, Chavez went so far as to applaud the shoe throwing action. 

Students of economics might argue that governments propping up of the economy is socialism, it is another thing to have your president say it out right.

How to solve the problem is not making statements like that in the first place.  It shows our vulnerability, that we are defeated and weak.  That we need to be rescued.  With every last breath, he should have defended that capitalism works and this “abandonment” is a temporary fix, but he didn’t.  Bush it seems, told the truth that America is heading for a North American Union and a New Global Financial Order.     

America could be ready to be pounced upon with Russians heading to Cuba for war games, and the Middle East, Russia, China all have nuclear capability aimed.  http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=081215151217.gl11u87v&show_article=1  Putin blamed the US for the cause of the global financial meltdown in the first place and so did Brown.  You think Russia wants to get even?  Remember The Cuban Missile Crisis?

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown called for a New Global Financial Order that would increase the adoption of trade treaties and increase the role of the International Monetary Fund in offering credit on the same scale as after World War Two.  “Now we have to create the institutions that are relevant not for national or sheltered economies but for global economies with global capital movements and competition.”  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/financetopics/financialcrisis/3202056/Gordon-Brown-urges-EU-to-rebuild-global-financial-institutions.html  Brown went further to say, “To make sure that the problems that developed in the financial system, problems that we know started in America, that these problems do not return again.” 

Maybe these problems started with the International Monetary Fund, The United Nations, the World Bank in the first place.  Wouldn’t those in the most powerful of positions have the most to gain?  Who is going to purchase distressed assets?  Russia, China and the Gulf oil states that’s who.  America is for sale. 

Liberals would want us to butt out, Obama wants to throw more money at the problems while Republicans want to end the bailouts.  Is it all one step closer to a North American Union and a One World Order?

In the Main Stream Media, The SanFranciso Gate  http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/02/04/ED5OUPQJ7.DTL says that, “Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of single-bid contracts with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed locations within the United States. The government has also contracted with several companies to build thousands of rail cars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to transport detainees. According to diplomat and author Peter Dale Scott, the KBR contract is part of a Homeland Security plan titled ENDGAME, which sets as its goal the removal of “all removable aliens” and “potential terrorists.”

As David Rockefeller reportedly said in 1973 when he and others formed the Trilateral Commission, “We will have this a Socialist Nation by the end of the year 2000.”  Maybe, he was off by a few years.

These swipes at The Republican Party might go over the head of kids, but not parents and not over mine.

On last month anniversary of The People’s Temple mass suicide, http://www.thoughtsaloud.com/2008/11/19/marxism-religion-and-kool-aid/ I  I am reminded of the power leaders have over followers and blind faith.  The Nation magazine reported at the time, “The temple was as much a left-wing political crusade as a church. Jones message of socialist redemption was so strong it lulled more than 900 people to “drink the kool-aid.” of stupidity.

Knowledge is power and it is becoming more apparent how such faith in the Obama kool-aid that the government is going to everything for you with a vision of change.  It seems that a new world order with promises of democratic principles, may be coming like it or not, with citizens looking to the Obama administration so solve all that ails them.  All the new faces we were promised with  “Change,” looks like the same ole, same ole with the Clinton and Daschle old school politicians of the world back in power.

Gone will be the day of working hard in America when there is no incentive to do so.   The influences on the youngest members of our society, our children should be mindful that working hard is the best road to success.  The idea that a child’s educational experience will be enhanced by a mandatory two year commitment to community service is a disservice to our youth- say nothing of the 40 year old crowd. 

All kool-aid has been removed from the pantry for the time being.  We will be serving melted snow that is abundant thanks to global climate change.  Snow contains no melamine or artificial ingredients, unless you count what the dog may add to it. 

Oh yeah, Merry Christmas.  This book will not be under our tree and Santa better not bring it either.

09 NOVEMBER 2008: Supreme Court Of The United States (SCOTUS) Supreme Court Justice David Souter has agreed that a review of the federal lawsuit filed by attorney Phil Berg against Barack Hussein Obama II, et al., which was subsequently dismissed for lack of standing is warranted. SCOTUS Docket No. 08-570..  Berg’s petition for an injunction to stay the November 4th election was denied, but the Clerk also required the defendants to respond to the Writ of Certiorari, which I believe, requires the concurrence of four justices, by December 1, 2008. 

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that people like me and the others who want to know the origins of Barack Obama’s citizenship are not stupid, and the Court it appears to want to see Obama’s birth certificate too.  There is nothing in the main stream media about Berg vs Obama or Martin vs Hawaii and until it is, we have remained on the fringe until being vindicated, at least a little bit.  It seems when talking about Obama’s citizenship that people don’t know a thing, they believe it is a lie or they are following the pursuits of justice to determine his eligibility.  For millions of voters, any citizenship questions they may have had were laid to rest long ago but to others, questions still remain and poignantly is, why President Elect Obama will not just show us his vaulted birth certificate? 

Groups like fact check have show us what is called a ‘re-issued’ certificate, often called by the states a certificate of live birth or a COLB.  A COLB normally passes for a birth certificate and is just as good unless questions arise. Berg’s web site headlines “U. S. SUPREME COURT AWAITS RESPONSE TO BERG’S WRIT OF CERTIORARI FROM OBAMA, DNC and Co-DEFENDANTS For   For Immediate Release: – 11/07/08 http://www.obamacrimes.com/  “I look forward to receiving defendant Obama’s response to the writ and am hopeful the U. S. Supreme Court will review Berg v. Obama. I believe Mr. Obama is not a constitutionally-qualified natural-born citizen and is ineligible to assume the office of President of the United States.”

Rule 11 as noted by the Supreme Court seems to make it clear that Justice Souter’s granting of a review on the Writ of Certiorari is not a right entitled to citizen Phil Berg, but rather is a matter of judicial discretion based upon a compelling reason. The compelling reason is the Constitutional requirement that no person except a natural born citizen shall be eligible to the office of President.

As I understand it, what this means is that on or before December 1, 2008 Barack Hussein Obama must respond to the writ of certiorari.  The Berg v Obama case really is really about a whole list of 56 questions regarding Obama’s place of birth. http://quipster.wordpress.com/2008/10/11/56-questions-obama-refuses-to-answer-about-citizenship/

The Rule of 11 http://www.law.cornell.edu/rules/frcp/Rule11.htm (4) the denials of factual contentions are warranted on the evidence or, if specifically so identified, are reasonably based on belief or a lack of information.  I can not imagine that as a Harvard Law Graduate and as President Elect that Obama would ignore such a request from the Justices of the Supreme Court and he will be compelled to provide a vault copy his original birth certificate.  In what is called a writ of mandamus to do so, they have absolutely no legal basis to refuse an order of the Supreme Court of the United States.

If Obama fails to do present his birth certificate, surely the Justices would be remiss in being defied.  They will then have to decide what to do about a President-elect who refuses to prove his natural-born citizenship.  Will Obama be held in contempt of court?  The Court may in fact, accept his COLB and in the long run issue a dismissal, citing that the responsibility of eligibility lies in Congress. We have already seen claims by The Federal Election Committee that it is not responsible for proof of eligibility. 

http://fightthesmears.com/articles/5/birthcertificate  posts his COLB but even that doesn’t’t prove even that is real, only that there is no credible evidence that it is a fake.  The raised seal and authoritative signature needed to validate the document cannot be seen on the scan http://web.israelinsider.com/Articles/Politics/12939.htm.  His campaign has a burden of proving otherwise and his website says that, “Smears claiming Barack Obama doesn’t have a birth certificate aren’t actually about that piece of paper — they’re about manipulating people into thinking Barack is not an American citizen.” Without that that little piece of paper, my friend- the fringe will not be convoluted into believing Obama is an American Citizen and that our Constitution will remain in crisis.

Most citizens, including myself will support the office and pray that should Obama pass through the Electoral collage and take the Oath of Presidency that his decisions yield the best four our future.  With more than a month and a half until Obama takes that Oath, we need a rational conclusion to make a rational judgment that he is in fact eligible.  The final judgment could be be influenced by any chaos that could result from de-certifying and voiding the election.  Found wrong or right, Berg and the American people could loose, even if he is right. 

What could be so hard about that, unless you have no birth certificate to present.

WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) today launched a new Web video, titled “Stooges.”  The video highlights the antics we can expect in Washington from the unbalanced liberal trifecta of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and, if elected, Barack Obama.  The Democrats’ unbalanced government would lead to higher taxes and spreading the wealth around, and there’s nothing funny about that.
