As revealed by Synthetic Aperture Radar imaging data from NASA’s Cassini spacecraft, liquid methane and ethane lakes in Titan’s northern high latitudes cover 20 times more area than lakes in the southern high latitudes. The Cassini data also show there are significantly more partially filled and now-empty lakes in the north.
“Like Earth, Titan has tens-of-thousands-of-year variations in climate driven by orbital motions,” Aharonson said. On Earth, these variations, known as Milankovitch cycles, are linked to changes in solar radiation, which affect global redistribution of water in the form of glaciers, and are believed to be responsible for ice-age cycles. “On Titan, there are long-term climate cycles in the global movement of methane that make lakes and carve lake basins. In both cases we find a record of the process embedded in the geology,” he added.

Now comes the news that the mayor of Moscow has decided to stop it from snowing. The mayor’s office will hire the Russian Air Force to spray a fine chemical mist over the clouds before they reach the capital.
The air force will use cement powder, dry ice or silver iodide to spray the clouds from Nov. 15 to March 15 — and only to prevent “very big and serious snow” from falling on the city, said Andrei Tsybin, the head of the department. Heeding calls from consumers? Wake the frig up. I bet half the cars in the heap of trade ins aren’t worth that in the first place. The banks will finance folks for the full amount of the new car until payments can’t be made and people default on the loan or lease. If I got a check for $4500 and couldn’t make my house payment or buy food, the car payment is last on my list.
Betcha they don’t even have to be an American Made. Oh WTF? The government ran out of money on a clunker program the first week and people believe it can run our health care system?
Why not just give a few billion to ACORN so they can issue bad loans that will never get paid back again either.
I for one want to see exactly how many cars were sold last week, and under which brand- compared to the previous weeks sales.

Conceivably then, if one were to mess with the ionosphere could you cause an earthquake ? Orville said the U.S. Defense Department was looking for ways, “to manipulate the charges of the earth and sky and so affect the weather by using an electronic beam to ionize or de- ionize the atmosphere over a specific area. Research continues from scientists outside of HAARP. PhysOrg.com reports on the world of quantum mechanics finding that solid particles could exhibit properties of waves; not just light waves. Not only are we seeing an increase of earthquakes, but reports from Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina described brilliant, streaking lights followed by an explosion-like sounds. They also reported seeing “great balls of fire” lighting up the sky in shades of yellow, white orange and blue. North Korea says it sent a satellite into orbit as part of a peaceful space program, and that the device is broadcasting revolutionary music over Earth. Perhaps some exploding junk was over Italy causing the earthquake- U.S. military said nothing entered into orbit.
