We heard President Obama’s speech on the radio from Cop 15- the politically correct means if describing the  U.N climate treaty being discussed in Copenhagen.  It is very hard to be a polite driver while listening to the rhetoric and thinking of giving the middle finger.

President Obama touted that “for the first time in history, all major economies have come together to accept their responsibility to take action to confront the threat of climate change,” calling the late-hour agreement struck in Copenhagen, Denmark an “unprecedented breakthrough.” http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/12/obama-calls-global-warming-agreement-an-unprecedented-breakthrough.html

Furthering the evidence of global warming and climate change, ABC said:

“Mr. Obama will depart the conference earlier than the rest of the leaders due to the massive winter storm headed for Washington, D.C. But, Mr. Obama said that he’s confident with the status of agreement and can leave before an official vote. “Because of weather constraints in Washington I am leaving before the final vote, but we feel confident that we are moving in the direction of a significant accord.”

BTW, when did the press start calling him Mr. Obama as opposed to President Obama?

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from midnight tonight to 6 am EST Sunday for Washington, D.C..  Precipitation type… snow.  Accumulations… heavy snow with accumulations of 1 to 2 feet through Saturday night.  http://www.wunderground.com/US/DC/Washington.html

Copenhagen only got four inches of snow yesterday.  If you think two feet of snow is unusual during a period of global warming and climate change for Washington- the town of Valdez, Alaska got over 63 inches of snow this week.

Valdez got more than four inches per hour at the height of the snowstorm that began there Monday and ran through the week. By the time the citizens of Alaska’s only oil port finally caught a break, the snow was piled 5 feet, 8 inches deep. Yes, you read right.  Five feet, 8 inches; over the head of your average American woman, up the nose of your average American man. The National Weather Service called it record. Fire hydrants were buried so deep under snow not even Tiger Woods could have hit them.  http://www.alaskadispatch.com/dispatches/news/3334-valdez-socked-in

Neither the weather or the speech are going to help his ratings. “At the same time, there’s growing negativity toward the president’s handling of the broader global warming issue. Around the 100-day mark of Obama’s presidency, 61 percent approved of the way he was dealing with the issue. Approval slumped to 54 percent in June and to 45 percent in the new poll.

Most, however, oppose a widely floated proposal in which the United States and other industrialized countries would contribute $10 billion a year to help developing countries pay for reducing the amount of greenhouse gases they release via http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/12/18/AR2009121800002.html?wpisrc=newsletter

Throw in this little diddy from the WSJ, How to Manufacture a Climate Consensus: ttp://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704398304574598230426037244.html

…with the release of the Climategate emails, the Climatic Research Unit, Michael Mann, Phil Jones and Tom Wigley have dramatically weakened the case for emissions reductions. The EPA claimed to rely solely upon compendia of the refereed literature such as the IPCC reports, in order to make its finding of endangerment from carbon dioxide. Now that we know that literature was biased by the heavy-handed tactics of the East Anglia mob, the EPA has lost the basis for its finding.property rights.

You’ll recall long before climategate, back in October Lord Christopher Monckton’s ”scathing and lengthy presentation, complete with detailed charts, graphs, facts, and figures which culminated in the utter decimation of both the pop culture concept of global warming and the credible threat of any significant anthropomorphic climate change,” with video at https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2009/10/17/us-sovereignty-ends-obama-signs-un-climate-change-treat/

Still, President Obama want to steal from the rich but this time give it to the poor in developing nations. OMG. When you can’t say it better sometimes you have to re-post from http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columns/Obama-Copenhagen-speech-solves-climate-crisis-8666528-79570882.html, The Washington Examiner:

Delegates to the global climate conference in Copenhagen sat in stunned silence today as President Obama solved the global warming crisis with a single 25-minute speech. “While the challenges we face may seem insoluble,” the Nobel laureate said, “the solution is actually quite simple. It’s historically reliable. It works every time it’s sincerely tried.”

“Basically, the problem is that poor nations are broke,” Obama explained, “and rich nations don’t want to throw their money down a totalitarian rathole, into the hands of tyrants who see this treaty as a gold mine and who have no intention of reducing carbon emissions. Since we need trillions of dollars to fund development of speculative green technologies, the only answer is for the poor nations to get rich fast.”

Obama said the broad outlines of his plan included having poor nations “adopt the time-tested Protestant work ethic, free-market capitalism and equal justice under law.”

“Once you see your vocation as a calling from God,” he said, “you work diligently toward excellence, to bring glory to your creator. If your property rights are guaranteed under law, you work to improve yours, and to acquire more, by serving others. Under my plan, within half a century, the less-developed nations will go from being pathetic dependents to equal trading partners.”

While skeptics said the president’s plan would put off a solution until the world’s coastlands were under water, Obama said, “Free men and women solve problems for profit, for accolades and for inscrutable personal purposes … but they do solve problems. If, in five decades, there’s still a climate crisis, we can all get together, kick in an equal share per capita, and hire someone to fix it.”

Pearl Harbor Attacked

In 1941 on this day, the Japanese Imperial Navy launched an attack on the U.S. Naval Base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Today also marks the beginning of the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference.

The conspiracy theorists would say that the Roosevelt Administration knew the attack was coming.

President Roosevelt (FDR) provoked the attack, knew about it in advance and covered up his failure to warn the Hawaiian commanders. FDR needed the attack to sucker Hitler to declare war, since the public and Congress were overwhelmingly against entering the war in Europe. It was his backdoor to war.http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/pearl/www.geocities.com/Pentagon/6315/pearl.html

“William Gray made a list of 15 reasons for the global warming hysteria. The list includes the need to come up with an enemy after the end of the Cold War. According to him, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration stopped giving him research grants, and so did NASA. http://www.temptingmagazine.com/2009/09/10-biggest-conspiracy-theories.html

A team at the National Security Agency (NSA) has carried out a study which rules out the long-held theory surrounding one of the Second World War’s most enduring mysteries. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/3681690/Study-rules-out-Pearl-Harbor-conspiracy.html

What we know is that  2,400 Americans were killed and almost 1,180 injured on that day.  Since then, scores of Americans have shed blood in the name of freedom.  Only the attacks in New York City on the World Trade Center were a greater loss of life on U.S. soil.  As we turn to Copenhagen and the war on climate gate, how many lives will be allegedly saved by carbon credits, taxes, and blackmail is any one’s guess.

54 private jets and over 1200 limousines will be contributing to an increase use in energy consumption to shuttle world leaders around.  http://www.stealthfusion.com/world-politics/9852-go-green-1200-limos-54-private-jets-converge-copenhagen.html

the row over leaked emails from scientists in East Anglia which appeared to suggest data making the case for man-made climate change was manipulated had been “damaging”….But he insisted that there was “as close to a scientific consensus as possible” that global warming is happening and is man-made…”I think it’s partly because this is a threat that you cannot see or feel – it’s not an army massing on our borders and people are focused on other things in their lives.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/copenhagen-climate-change-confe/6749079/Copenhagen-climate-summit-long-way-to-go-to-convince-sceptics-says-Ed-Miliband.html

We’ll say it again, https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2009/10/17/us-sovereignty-ends-obama-signs-un-climate-change-treat/

The United Nations Climate Change Treaty is one giant step backwards and pure blackmail.  The working documents are another attempt to hold the United States of America and other industrialized nations for ransom.  It penalizes our advanced technologies and encourages the acceptance of The New World Order that will indeed further erode U.S. and other national sovereignty.   In plain English, Environmental Justice amounts to nothing less than pure extortion.  The horrendous atrocities occurring  in Africa are a result of war, pure and simple.  Millions have died not because of global warming, but at the hands of dictators and tyrants who care nothing for their nation’s population or global warming.

The real threat is that terrorism remains an issue not only in America, but throughout the world.  There are armies on just about every border in the world, barring apparently the White House, where socialites can sneak in to greet the leaders and debutantes.

To believe that global warming is man-made brings to light the humility of mankind to think he is invincible and omnipotent.  He is not.

Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change expert, gave a presentation at Bethel College in St. Paul, MN on October 14, 2009.  He issued a warning that U.S. sovereignty is in danger over the the United Nations Climate Change Treaty which is scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009. Monckton sued to stop Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. The judge found in-favor of Monckton, ordering 9 serious errors in the film to be corrected.  hat tip to http://arkansasgopwing.blogspot.com/2009/10/obama-poised-to-cede-us-sovereignty.html

According to Monckton, the treaty will result in a communist world government which would supersede our own Constitution. The British Lord reports that the trifold purposes of this international entity are: government; transfer of wealth to third world nations and enforcement.  http://www.examiner.com/x-14766-Charleston-Ron-Paul-Examiner~y2009m10d16-Is-Obama-prepared-to-hand-over-US-sovereignty

Lord Christopher Monckton’s “scathing and lengthy presentation, complete with detailed charts, graphs, facts, and figures which culminated in the utter decimation of both the pop culture concept of global warming and the credible threat of any significant anthropomorphic climate change,” as described by the Campaign for Liberty- who also proved a partial transcript of his speech. http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=26474

I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfaction of what is called, coyly, “climate debt” – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement….How many of you think that the word “election” or “democracy” or “vote” or “ballot” occurs anywhere in the 200 pages of that treaty?…

And the trouble is this; if that treaty is signed, if your Constitution says that it takes precedence over your Constitution (sic), and you can’t resign from that treaty unless you get agreement from all the other state parties – And because you’ll be the biggest paying country, they’re not going to let you out of it.  He has very strong sympathies with that point of view. He’s going to sign it. He’ll sign anything. He’s a Nobel Peace Prize [winner]; of course he’ll sign it.

“Such a deal in Copenhagen is one small step for governments – but one giant leap for humanity.”

Heads of state from about 100 countries gathered at the United Nations climate summit in September ’09 where, Obama declared that unless the world acts to slow climate change, “We risk consigning future generations to an irreversible catastrophe.”   In addition to vowing to work on eliminating fossil-fuel subsidies, he also announced the first U.S. requirement for companies to report emissions.  Obama offered no new initiatives to cut U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, leading Keya Chatterjee of the World Wildlife Fund, an environmental group, to call Obama’s speech “a missed opportunity.”  http://www.istockanalyst.com/article/viewiStockNews/articleid/3499288

Obama attributed that the recent drop in overall U.S. greenhouse gas emissions are partly due to steps to promote greater efficiency and use of renewable energy. Noting that the U.S. House of Representatives passed a cap-and-trade bill in June that would dramatically reduce CO2 emissions, Obama said he looks forward to engaging with Senate committees on climate change legislation. http://www.snl.com/Interactivex/article.aspx?CdId=A-10085198-12335

Who is the largest benefactor to the world?  The United States of America.  It’s corporations, it’s people.  Take your crap and trade, and the paper that the United Nations Climate Change Treaty is printed on, wipe your ass, and watch as as American Sovereignty gets flushed right down the toilet and into a land-fill.

Global Warming my ass.  56 degrees this morning with another couple of inches of rain to go with the 14 inches we got last week here in FEMA Zone 5.   What happened to summer and hot and humid days?  How many years will I have to watch The God Father movie reruns inside on the 4th of July?

Have all those x marks the spot chemtrails in the sky finally caught up with us mere planetary inhabitants?

Region V is the second most populated of the 10 FEMA regions serving more than 49 million people. The region’s most common challenges are floods, tornadoes, blizzards, and earthquakes. It also has the highest volume of shipped hazardous materials of all 10 FEMA regions, and is home to 16 of the nation’s nuclear power plants which, reside in five of the six of Region V states.  http://www.fema.gov/about/regions/regionv/index.shtm

It’s just cold and rainy and it sucks.  To top it off,  We the People are being held hostage to another piece of crap legislation, the House crap-and-trade energy bill.

I woke up on the right side of the bed today, and put my furnace on while the pool heater is on at the same time.  The washing machine and dryer are running, the stove is on, and so are all my lamps because it is so dark from the overcast sky.  Can’t wait to see how many carbon credits we spend and use today.

Released today. Four independent scientists respond in detail to the evidence that government scientists claim shows that carbon dioxide causes significant global warming. The real debate continues. After the return fire from the skeptical experts, there was not a single point left standing.

“Our conclusions are:

  1. that whilst recent increases in greenhouse gases play a minor radiative role in global climate, no strong evidence exists that human carbon dioxide emissions are causing, or are likely to cause, dangerous global warming;
  2. that it is unwise for government environmental policy to be set based upon monopoly advice, and especially so when what monopoly is represented by an international political (not scientific) agency; and
  3. that the results of implementing emissions trading legislation will be so costly, troublingly regressive, socially divisive and environmentally ineffective that Parliament should defer consideration of the CPRS bill and institute a fully independent Royal Commission of enquiry into the evidence for and against a dangerous human influence on climate.
  4. We add, with respect to point 3 that the scientific community is now so polarized on the controversial issue of dangerous global warming that proper due diligence on the matter can only be achieved where competent scientific witnesses are cross-examined under oath and under strict rules of evidence.

President-elect Obama recorded a message for the Global Climate Summit, promising  “a new chapter of American leadership on climate change.”
There are so many chapters to Obama, and the book is still being written.  This week, Al Gore, once the ideal running mate, and Obama had a little two hour meet with Biden in tow to talk about climate change.

The author of “An Inconvenient Truth” and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Gore presented his ideas on the environment as one part of helping the nation’s struggling economy recovery.  Note that Gore was not offered a cabinet job.

Obama said they discussed so-called green jobs as a way to boost employment across the country, improve national security by reducing reliance on foreign oil, and reduce energy costs.  Obama said global warming is “not only a problem, but it’s also an opportunity.” http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2008/12/08/national/w120629S86.DTL&type=politics

“We all believe what the scientists have been telling us for years now, that this is a matter of urgency and national security, and it has to be dealt with in a serious way,” said Obama.  Alas, more than 650 scientists from around the world disagree with claims made by the United Nations, Gore and Obama about global warming, “saying that science does not support that climate change is a man made phenomenon, according to a Senate environmental committee’s press blog.http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Minority.Blogs&ContentRecord_id=2158072e-802a-23ad-45f0-274616db87e6

We have learned more than once that our leaders should take evidence from fact.  There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and the evidence is slipping that we are under a period of global warming.

Up to 6 inches of snow was reported in parts of Louisiana http://www.nola.com/news/index.ssf/2008/12/the_new_orleans_area_is.htm causing havoc.  New England residents are still without power from an ice storm. http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2008/12/13/ice_storm_paralyzes_parts_of_new_england/ and yet we see Obama and Gore chatting up the warmth.  Where is the fireplace setting?

Czech President Vaclav Klaus hit out at the EU climate deal concluded Friday and described global climate issues as “a silly luxury.”  http://www.spacedaily.com/2006/081212141651.tthkmkke.html

Most folks don’t pollute and do our part, but when it comes down to it a whole industry has been created under the guise of climate change.  “Obama is pushing changes in the way Americans use energy, and produce greenhouse gases, as part of what will be a massive economic stimulus. He called it an opportunity “to re-power America.” http://apnews.myway.com/article/20081214/D952LKP00.html

A General Electric Lamp factory used to show brightly near my home town where they would produce standard light bulbs and employ thousands, now it is shuttered and dark.  The next generation of light bulb is a CFL or compact fluorescent light bulb touting energy savings at a higher cost but longer life.  Sounds good until we realize that these new light bulbs are filled with the toxic substance Mercury, a “highly toxic heavy metal that can cause brain damage and learning disabilities in fetuses and children” and as “one of the most poisonous forms of pollution.” http://www.financialpost.com/story.html?id=aa7796aa-e4a5-4c06- .

Where are mercury-containing CFLs made? Not in the United States. under strict environmental regulation. CFLs are made in India and China, where environmental standards are virtually non-existent.

“It’s too bad they’re so capable, experienced, and energetic because the energy and global warming policies that President-elect Obama wants them to pursue are radical, economically disastrous, and pointless,” says http://www.globalwarming.org/node/2827  and says that, “Reality is setting in around the world, as temperatures continue flat and efforts to reduce emissions prove costly and ineffective.  Let’s hope that our elected leaders in Congress see what’s happening before they turn off the lights.”

U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe could be our hero in waiting who often butts heads with Gore.  http://newsok.com/green-team-obamas-choices-will-challenge-inhofe/article/3330250   Is it all a big swindle?  Visit http://www.junkscience.com/ who argues that human activity is the chief cause of warming, if it exists at all.

Leading headlines this morning continue to be about the weather with excessive rains in California, sub zero temperatures in the upper Midwest and those still recovering from the massive ice storm in the North East.   The “Icebox of the Nation,” International Falls, temps remained below zero.  http://www.answers.com/topic/international-falls-minnesota

Global Warming, humph.

Not in the headlines, it would appear that is is going to be a cold day in hell before anyone directly ties Obama to any Obamagate issues.

Highlighting Chicago politics, the matter continues to show relationships between the about to be impeached Democratic governor and some members of Obama’s inner circle.  His top campaign strategist, David Axelrod, will move to the White House for a senior adviser’s job and lists Blagojevich on his firm’s Web site as one of his clients, when the politician was a candidate for Congress.

The US Supreme Court  on December 15, 2008, the same day
that the Electoral College  met to vote for president and vice
president, has denied WROTNOWSKI, CORT V. BYSIEWICZ, CT SEC. OF STATE case, seeking again to require a verification of Obama’s eligibility to hold office. http://citizenwells.wordpress.com/ on SCOTUS at http://origin.www.supremecourtus.gov/docket/08a469.htm.

Alan Keyes still has a case pending but it looks like we’ve got at least four years of a chilly forecast from an Obama administration.

Obama has not been officially implicated or charged in anything.
