Pearl Harbor Attacked

In 1941 on this day, the Japanese Imperial Navy launched an attack on the U.S. Naval Base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Today also marks the beginning of the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference.

The conspiracy theorists would say that the Roosevelt Administration knew the attack was coming.

President Roosevelt (FDR) provoked the attack, knew about it in advance and covered up his failure to warn the Hawaiian commanders. FDR needed the attack to sucker Hitler to declare war, since the public and Congress were overwhelmingly against entering the war in Europe. The United Nations Climate Change Treaty is one giant step backwards and pure blackmail.  The working documents are another attempt to hold the United States of America and other industrialized nations for ransom.  It penalizes our advanced technologies and encourages the acceptance of The New World Order that will indeed further erode U.S. and other national sovereignty.   In plain English, Environmental Justice amounts to nothing less than pure extortion.  The horrendous atrocities occurring  in Africa are a result of war, pure and simple.  Millions have died not because of global warming, but at the hands of dictators and tyrants who care nothing for their nation’s population or global warming. 

The real threat is that terrorism remains an issue not only in America, but throughout the world.  There are armies on just about every border in the world, barring apparently the White House, where socialites can sneak in to greet the leaders and debutantes. 

To believe that global warming is man-made brings to light the humility of mankind to think he is invincible and omnipotent.  He is not.

Yeah, well me and Guns ‘n Roses, in this ever changing world we live in, got to give you Paul McCartney- “the other fellow hell.”   Former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney made remarks to the European Parliament to raise the issue of meat production and consumption in advance of next weeks U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, rambling about Meatless Mondays and making me gag.

As if antennae aren’t already twisting to the disclosure of faked scientific data on climate change along comes another musician, now “do gooder” to save us from ourselves to suggest meat is bad for the climate. “Citing United Nations reports, the singer said 18 per cent of harmful emissions come from agriculture – significantly more than the 13 per cent attributed to transport.  McCartney was joined by Rajendra Pach auri, chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), who said a tax on beef would “make a lot of sense”. http://english.aljazeera.net/news/europe/2009/12/2009123153511251744.html 

Just what we need, a tax on beef besides the sales tax. 

From Ireland, “IFA President Padraig Walshe has accused ex-Beatle Paul McCartney of leading a flawed campaign against meat that is contradictory on climate change. He said sustainable and environmentally-friendly grass based beef production from Ireland and other EU countries is being replaced on the EU market with beef from Brazil. Most of that meat is coming from areas where Amazon rainforest has been chopped down…’instead of campaigning MEPs to reduce the livestock herd in Europe, Paul McCartney should be lobbying to safeguard grass-based beef production here. The WSJ had this to say, “Macca is the founder of an outfit called Meat-Free Mondays (http://www.supportmfm.org/), which aims to get us all to eat less meat and rescue the planet in the process….Keen to get in on this publicity stunt, sorry… I mean facilitate cross-disciplinary dialogue and save life on Earth, was the non-meat-eating Edward McMillan-Scott MEP, vice president of the European Parliament. We’re all for a balanced diet of salads, veggies, fruits, etc., but NO ONE is taking away my meat dinners.  Put a carbon tax on it, put a carbon tax on my farting, tax my auto, my tobacco, my roads, my booze, my guns, my hunting license, etc, and my fat meat eating ass when I die.  We are eating meat.  If the White House serves Kobe beef, be it from Texas or wherever- at some astronomical cost, the least I can afford is Meatloaf Monday on a pretty regular basis. 

Kobe beef is a special grade of beef from (Wagyu) cattle raised in Kobe, Japan. These cattle are massaged with sake and are fed a daily diet that includes large amounts of beer.  This produces meat that is extraordinarily tender, finely marbled, and full-flavored. On a personal note- I too would like to be massaged with sake and fed large amounts of beer daily at our house.

Our house, we serve meat and occasionally with flowers from our garden that the dog hasn’t pissed on.  It isn’t easy to eat meat.  Some folks get there meat at McDonald’s.  We have been known to hunt it, kill it, clean it, and store it to feed our family.  There is also the generously fabulous opulence that can be found in U.S. grocery stores. 

Yes, there are risks to eating food in general.   E Coli and other contaminants are out there.  You think someone starving in Somalia gives a rats ass about E Coli?  Sadly, many will eat the rats ass. 

While we eat our dinner, you can be rest assured we are not contaminating our ears with any music by McCartney, Sting, or Bono.

Three Mile Island Radiation Leak Again

Three Mile Island Radiation Leak

Almost one month to the day that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)  released a Press release extending Three Mile Island’s license for 20 years, there has been another radiation leak at the facility.  http://taxdollars.freedomblogging.com/files/2009/11/three-mile-island-renewal.pdf  

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has renewed the operating license for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (TMI-1), in Middletown, Pa., for an additional 20 years. The  new license will expire on April 19, 2034.  Via Associated Press, “A small amount of radiation has been detected in a reactor building at the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant in central Pennsylvania. The NRC http://www.nrc.gov/ must be scratching it’s a$$ this weekend as there is no official press release from the agency.  The Current Power Reactor Status Report for November 20, 2009 shows a big fat zero for producing energy at Three Mile Island at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/event-status/reactor-status/ps.html

From the NY Daily News, “Employees at the infamous plant were cutting pipes in a reactor building about 4 p.m. when a radiation alarm sounded, triggering the evacuation of 150 workers. The cause of the leak has not been found.  http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/2009/11/22/2009-11-22_three_mile_island.html#ixzz0XcSYPiRL The reactor building has been shut down for weeks while workers from Exelon — an energy company that operates Three Mile Island — overhauled steam generators and other equipment.  Exelon Nuclear says that there was no contamination identified outside the reactor building.  Surveys conducted outside the reactor building indicated a slight increase in radioactivity, but levels have since returned to normal, TMI officials report. Dauphin County and state EMA officials did not learn of the exposure until Middletown Mayor Robert Reid contacted the county’s 911 Center at 9:30pm, 5 1/2 hours after the radiation release. via http://www.nucpros.com/index.php?q=node/7486#comment-672  at member of the Profession Reactor Operator Society. 

Did anyone bother to notify The White House?  Has the news yet to reach Daniel B. Poneman, Deputy Secretary of Energy? http://www.energy.gov/organization/daniel_poneman.htm 

For five and a half hours Exelon Nuclear didn’t tell anyone that there was a potential problem?   While this case seems to indicate containment, what about the what if’s, had it not been contained?  How does Excelon say that there was no contamination outside in one sentence and in the very next say that there was an increase in radioactivity outside, in the next? 

In contrast to The Three Mile Accident on March 28, 1979… when the plant experienced a failure in the secondary, non‑nuclear section of the plant. They did not know that the core had melted, but they immediately took steps to try to gain control of the reactor and ensure adequate cooling to the core. The NRC=s regional office in King of Prussia, Pa., was notified at 7:45 a.m. on March 28. By 8:00, NRC Headquarters in Washington, D.C., was alerted and the NRC Operations Center in Bethesda, Md., was activated. The regional office promptly dispatched the first team of inspectors to the site and other agencies, such as the Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency, also mobilized their response teams. Helicopters hired by TMI’s owner, General Public Utilities Nuclear, and the Department of Energy were sampling radioactivity in the atmosphere above the plant by midday. A team from the Brookhaven National Laboratory was also sent to assist in radiation monitoring. At 9:15 a.m., the White House was notified and at 11:00 a.m., all non‑essential personnel were ordered off the plant’s premises. http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/fact-sheets/3mile-isle.html

Yucca Mountain

After spending billions on Yucca Mountain, President Obama has derailed plans to open the facility to nuclear storage.  http://www.ocrwm.doe.gov/repository/index.shtml Yucca sits on the  Nellis Military Operations Area in Nevada approximately 80 miles northwest of the Las Vegas metropolitan area.  Maybe the government made a deal with the aliens of Area 51 for storage instead. 

Whatever the future of the facility, President Obama continues on the global warming train to nowhere, saying in his speech on Nuclear Weapons in Prague:

“To protect our planet, now is the time to change the way that we use energy,” he said to applause. ” Together, we must confront climate change by ending the world’s dependence on fossil fuels, by tapping the power of new sources of energy like the wind and sun, and calling upon all nations to do their part. And I pledge to you that in this global effort, the United States is now ready to lead….“We should build a new framework for civil nuclear cooperation, including an international fuel bank, so that countries can access peaceful power without increasing the risks of proliferation. That must be the right of every nation that renounces nuclear weapons, especially developing countries embarking on peaceful programs…. We must harness the power of nuclear energy on behalf of our efforts to combat climate change, and to advance peace opportunity for all people.” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/05/obama-prague-speech-on-nu_n_183219.html  President Obama wants more nuclear plants, less nuclear weapons and offers no place to store the waste. He wants to close Gitmo and offers no place to store that human waste either.

Three Mile Island wasn’t the only nuclear facility having incidents reports this week.   http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/event-status/event/2009/20091120en.html.  November 18, 2009, the RSO (Radiation Safety Officer) of Terracon Consulting Inc. (ARK-0820-03121) reported the theft of a Troxler 3440 Moisture Density gauge (SN#27140) from a construction site at the Two Pines landfill in Jacksonville, Arkansas. The gauge contained an 9 mCi Cesium-137 source and a 44 mCi Americium-241/Beryllium source.  The category 3 radioactive material gauge was found along a roadside.

World Pneumonia Day

Sovereignty In Jeopardy, Climate Change and Climate Chains

Now comes the news that the mayor of Moscow has decided to stop it from snowing.  The mayor’s office will hire the Russian Air Force to spray a fine chemical mist over the clouds before they reach the capital.

The air force will use cement powder, dry ice or silver iodide to spray the clouds from Nov. 15 to March 15 — and only to prevent “very big and serious snow” from falling on the city, said Andrei Tsybin, the head of the department. This could mean that a few flakes will manage to slip through the cracks.  Precipitation Enhancement in California

Precipitation enhancement is the one form of weather modification done in California; hail suppression (reducing the formation of large, damaging hailstones) and fog dispersal (when fog is below freezing temperature) projects are conducted in other states. 

Winter orographic cloud seeding has been practiced in California since the early 1950s. Most of the projects are along the central and southern Sierra Nevada with some in the Coast Ranges. The projects generally use silver iodide as the active seeding agent, supplemented by dry ice if aerial seeding is done. Silver iodide can be applied from ground generators or from airplanes. Occasionally other agents, such as liquid propane, have been used.

While Climate Change isn’t weather, they are irrefutably related. Imagine it raining on drought stricken crops, water to drink, water for energy creation.  You could be a deceitful dictatorship and yield flooding and drought upon your people or your neighbor whom you don’t like.

On October 22, 2008- utility giant Pacific Gas and Electric posted a “Notice Of Intention” in the Mt. Shasta Area Newspapers outlining their plan to conduct a five-year “weather modification” program in southern Siskiyou County. Many wondered, “Wait a second… Our weather is going to be controlled by PG&E?” According to the notice, the answer is yes, at least partly. For some Siskiyou County residents, this is an unsettling thought, and many are demanding more information.  The program, called the “Pit-McCloud Cloud Seeding – Ground Water Enhancement Project,” is one of several projects of its kind throughout California. Containment: unless wearing appropriate protective clothing. Stop leak if you can do without risk. Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas. Collection for silver recovery should be considered. Eliminate all ignition sources. Do not touch damaged containers or spilled material.

Just pour it over some clouds.  Dump it right on to those age old Red Wood Trees and Pine Trees of California.  Gee, can’t figure out why they burn so easily. Drop it on Nancy Pelosi’s and Arnold’s lawn! 

While The Obama Administration, Maurice Strong and Al Gore continue their rant on global warming, perhaps they should look to their own backyard for practicing weather modification and Climate Change on American citizens.

Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change expert, gave a presentation at Bethel College in St. Paul, MN on October 14, 2009.  He issued a warning that U.S. sovereignty is in danger over the the United Nations Climate Change Treaty which is scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009. Monckton sued to stop Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. According to Monckton, the treaty will result in a communist world government which would supersede our own Constitution. I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfaction of what is called, coyly, “climate debt” – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement….How many of you think that the word “election” or “democracy” or “vote” or “ballot” occurs anywhere in the 200 pages of that treaty?…

And the trouble is this; if that treaty is signed, if your Constitution says that it takes precedence over your Constitution (sic), and you can’t resign from that treaty unless you get agreement from all the other state parties – And because you’ll be the biggest paying country, they’re not going to let you out of it.  He has very strong sympathies with that point of view. The United Nations Climate Change Treaty is one giant step backwards and pure blackmail.  The working documents are another attempt to hold the United States of America and other industrialized nations for ransom.  It penalizes our advanced technologies and encourages the acceptance of The New World Order that will indeed further erode U.S. and other national sovereignty.
 
In plain English, Environmental Justice amounts to nothing less than pure extortion.  The horrendous atrocities occurring  in Africa are a result of war, pure and simple.  Millions have died not because of global warming, but at the hands of dictators and tyrants who care nothing for their nation’s population or global warming.

National Debt Disgrace with Obama & PAYGO

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office projects that publicly held debt will reach 56.1 percent of GDP under current law. While George Bush may not be a saint, but Obama is looking more and more like a sinner- spending more than any other President in history. The National Debt was $10.6-trillion on the day Barack Obama took office, if his budget projections come to fruition, he’ll run up nearly as much government debt in four years as President Bush did in eight.

Twice as nice for a Wednesday, both Trade Deficit and Budget Deficit will be released today. Ten Banks are going to repay their TARP (troubled assets relief program) funds, to the tune of nearly $70 billion, but that will barely put a dent in America’s economic decline, say nothing of the move toward socialized everything.

Their actions have merit.  The world does not need to see how low America stooped.  Too bad these two didn’t have the balls necessary during the campaign to warn that an Obama administration of transparency, would only come when it was convenient for Obama.  If nothing else, this Senate delay saves us a few bucks while the debate goes on.

According to CNN- President Barack Obama on Tuesday proposed making “pay-as-you-go” rules for federal spending into law.  The so-called PAYGO proposal requires Congress to balance any increased spending by equal savings elsewhere. By all accounts, added entitlement spending will be offset with spending cursor tax increases. Talk about bait and switch!

ABC points out, “discretionary spending – roughly 40% of the federal budget – is not covered by PAYGO.” The PAYGO rules will apply to new tax cuts and mandatory spending, with four major exemptions – any renewal of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts, the continued efforts to “patch” the Alternative Minimum Tax, any effort to address physician’s payments in Medicare, and modifying the estate tax.” http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/06/president-obama-paygo-and-the-deficit-hole.html

60% of the budget is not subject to PAYGO.  Why is no one having a hissy fit over that?  While President Obama may enjoy a 60% approval rating, PAYGO and his expensive socialistic plans still don’t achieve his goals.  Bush might have spent a pretty dime, but at least is was shining in democracy.

General Motors & FDIC Obama Steering The Wheels to Bankruptcy

The Obama administration is steering the wheels of not only General Motors and Chrysler into bankruptcy, but the FDIC- Federal Insurance Corporation in the new world order.

General Motors Corp. president and Chief Executive Officer Fritz Henderson has scheduled a news conference in New York on Monday, when the Detroit automaker is expected to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  Having propped up the failing automaker with billions of our tax dollars already, the government will take somewhere around a 70% ownership role. 

Perhaps the automakers should have been allowed to sink or swim in a free market economy months ago, none-the-less they are sinking now and fast.  So much innovation has come from the auto industry from safety, better fuel management, satellite tracking, etc. GM filed more than 300 patents last year alone and there in lies the money honey.

Making a habit of dining out, Obama ate at Five Guys on Friday and while waiting for his order, President Obama appears to have learned of the existence of a Defense Department intelligence arm, the National Geo spacial Intelligence Agency- NGA-an agency employee also at the burger restaurant.  Too bad it wasn’t some one from the FDIC who could have told him that that the fund is is at an all time low of just $13 billion as of march 31st  or 0.27% of $4.8 trillion in insured deposits! </span

While depositors have been seeking a safe haven from the stock market, and banks continue to falter, insured deposits have hit all time highs.  The FDIC is all but insolvent. The inclusion of "In God We Trust" on all currency was required by law in 1955.  The Federal Reserve guarantees those dollars for now, but for how long?  Even the big 3 have warranty programs, but again for how long?  The car I drive has a rosary on it to protect our family while we drive and that invisible trust in my gas guzzling SUV and God remains, but faith in Obama to restore the automotive and the banking industry?

Global Warming Responsible for Cold Weather

Absolutely freaking amazing.  People have found a way to conclude that the current cold affecting most of America is due to global warming.   It is Winter, idiots.  Contrary to fact that global temperatures have been steadily cooling since the 1940’s, environmentalists have created a whole industry centered around the lie that mankind has some influence on weather.  

As far as what has been reported to the public, we humans have no way to decrease or increase the planet’s temperature.  Barely a footnote in the media,  is all the research that has been underway for years to, in fact- change the weather. 

“The US and Russia have developed capabilities to manipulate the climate for military use. Environmental modification techniques have been applied by the US military for more than half a century. Established in 1992, HAARP, based in Gokona, Alaska, is an array of high-powered antennas that transmit, through high-frequency radio waves, massive amounts of energy into the ionosphere (the upper layer of the atmosphere). Their construction was funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).  Operated jointly by the Air Force Research Laboratory and the Office of Naval Research, HAARP constitutes a system of powerful antennas capable of creating ‘controlled local modifications of the ionosphere’. We’ve seen snow in Las Vegas and even in Hawaii this Winter.  The odds makers must be realigning statistics that it will happen again based on reports from the National Climatic Data Center.  This will be America’s coldest year since 1997, thanks to La Niña and precipitation in the central and eastern states.   Throw in the Sun’s Solar quiet and we see another reason for global cooling- not global warming. Yet , we have our next President- Obama -about to spend millions of our tax dollars to inhibit climate change.  “Few challenges facing America – and the world – are more urgent than combating climate change. One small bright spot in this political climate of change is that Al Gore will not have an official part in the next administration.   Gore, who won the Nobel Peace Prize for climate change is among the nation’s worst energy hogs. Obama does not fair any better at preserving climate change with his inauguration, The Institute for Liberty has created a carbon footprint estimate for the Obama inauguration itself and estimates more than 500 million pounds of CO2 will be released during the four-day inaugural but goes farther to say that study isn’t entirely accurate. “We haven’t looked at the methane or CO2 that will be expended by people standing on the mall.”

I am ROFLMFAO, farting, freezing, watching the snow fly with my old fashioned, mercury free light bulbs on.  Oh yeah, I am burning through the BTU’s with the furnace on too.

Clinton Signals SOS

America is sending out an SOS and here we have Mrs. Clinton, most likely to be confirmed as Secretary of State, touting that climate change threatens our very existence. ““At the extreme [climate change] threatens our very existence, but well before that point, it could very well incite new wars of an old kind—over basic resources like food, water, and arable land. New wars?  More wars?  So now I get why we were so pissed Russia wants to claim Antarctica-is must be the supposed melting ice to control the drinking water- not the oil.  Duh.  Good thing we’ve hung on to Alaska and all that frozen tundra up there.  Good for Palin! 

Gee, I was figuring an Iran with nuclear weapons is a bigger threat.

Robert Reich the the nation’s 22nd Secretary of Labor had this to say about what to do? … there’s no reason to think about “green jobs” as simply high-tech. Many low-income and low-skilled workers — women as well as men — could be put directly to work providing homes and businesses with more efficient and renewable heating, lighting, cooling, and refrigeration systems; installing solar panels and efficient photo voltaic systems; rehabilitating and renovating old properties, and improving recycling systems. “Green Jobs Corps” teams could be trained to evaluate and advise homeowners and businesses on these and other means of conserving energy.” http://robertreich.blogspot.com/2009/01/stimulus-how-to-create-jobs-without.html  A Green Jobs Corps?  Oh, heavens to Mergatroid!  Want to bet Mrs. Obama wears a green dress suit to the inauguration?  Will Obama wear a green tie to signify his green, one world global policies?  Got me wondering if he’ll wear a flag pin as well?

Hillary will most likely once again take credit for initiatives her husband’s administration sought, as well as Obama’s and maybe even The Green Job Corps. Whatever goes wrong, she can blame O. 

What about that little diddy in her past about the illegal campaign contributions?  Under the rug.  Peter F. Paul claimed in his lawsuit that he financed a gala and other fundraisers for Hillary Clinton because he was promised by some of the Clinton’s’ handlers that Bill would join the board of his company Stan Lee Media.  The Movie Star laden Hollywood fundraiser was the subject of a criminal trial of Clinton’s former national finance director, David Rosen, who ended up being acquitted.  Hillary was dropped from the suit under California’s anti-SLAPP statute that is designed to reduce frivolous lawsuits and protect people’s First Amendment rights. 

Hillary couldn’t even tell the truth about whom she was named after, “Mrs Clinton also once said her parents named her after [New Zealand native] Sir Ed Hillary, a nice line till it was pointed out she was born more than five years before he climbed Everest, when he was still a lesser-known beekeeper.”  http://blog.foreignpolicy.com/node/8721  Guess that bee stung a bit.

I want to know if she can define the word- is.  President Clinton put it this way, “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is. If the–if he–if ‘is’ means is and never has been, that is not–that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement….Now, if someone had asked me on that day, are you having any kind of sexual relations with Ms. Lewinsky, that is, asked me a question in the present tense, I would have said no. Is Obama completely off his rocker to employ Hillary Clinton?   For all intents, it appeared they couldn’t stand each other.  Oh, but remember SR 511?  The little resolution that Clinton sponsored about natural born citizenship.  This is payback .

America is in distress and sending out an SOS to anyone who will listen and we are spending countless millions on an inauguration.  Heck, even Bruce Springsteen is going to show up for a free concert.  I can’t bet he will not be playing, “Born in the USA.”  I’ve heard the Beltway mantra is that we need to look forward to as opposed to looking back wards.

Like GWB often says, maybe we misunderestimated Hillary Clinton.
