Just when I think American economists and politicians have the slightest clue about the most basic facts of world affairs, international trade, or the nature of money, I am reminded yet again of the hypocrisy of this financial and social abyss toward which America is heading in the pecking order of the New World Order.

The U.S. government owns the banks and the car industry.  It sets the rules, makes them up as it goes along and has control over the money supply.  It apparently has no oversight as the Fed in May tap danced around the missing  NINE TRILLION DOLLARS that we could sure use about now.

Say nothing of main stream media whose focus on the deaths of Michael Jackson is a slap in the face. Icon, perhaps but a role model-hardly. What about all the dead soldiers from U.S. Wars and the one’s breathing  in over 130 foreign countries?  No views of them in the nightly news.

No worries though, Congressman Barney Frank (D-MA), Chairman of the Financial Services Committee, introduced legislation decriminalizing marijuana at the federal level again. If passed, the legislation would eliminate criminal penalties for possessing 100 grams or less of marijuana for personal use.  Not to be outdone, San Francisco Assemblyman Tom Ammiano announced the introduction of a bill to tax and regulate marijuana like alcohol in the state of California.  Yippee,  another government owned industry!  Obama just signed a huge tax increase on tobacco, I can only image the tax on a joint.

“The Ammiano legislation would create a regulatory structure for that market similar to that for beer, wine and liquor: it would regulate taxed sales to adults while barring sales to or possession by those under 21. Estimated annual revenue from fees and sales and excise taxes under the proposed regulations runs into the billions of dollars.http://www.drugpolicy.org/news/pressroom/pressrelease/pr022309b.cfm

Maybe the U.S. Government can subsidizes pot growers like it does cotton, corn, soybean and other farming industries with my tax dollars.  Maybe we can trade it on the commodities exchange and all the traders can get a little profit too.  I wonder what currency it will trade-  USD, Amero, Acmetal, Euro…?

The rest of the world is focusing on a new reserve currency in the New World Order and we focus on legalizing pot and subsidizing farmers in Afghanistan. As of the 111th Congress, Frank is also advocating a 25 percent reduction in the overall Military budget of the United States.

The Huffington Post http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/27/us-announces-shift-in-afg_n_221826.html says that “The United States has announced a new drug policy for opium-rich Afghanistan, saying it was phasing out funding for eradication programs while significantly increasing its funding for alternate crop and drug interdiction efforts. The War on drugs in the U.S has thousands in prison for drugs with our failing policies here, and we are expected to believe that sending millions there will be a deterrent?  I still have that little island in the desert for sale if anyone is interested.

Last week when leaders of the so-called BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, India and China) held their first summit.  The BRIC countries comprise 15 per cent of the world economy, 40 per cent of global currency reserves and half the world’s population.  The governments of BRIC and must be laughing like they were smoking marijuana and injecting heroin at America.  Our elected officials focus on legalizing pot rather than be bothered with the cumbersome announcement from Russian President Dmitri Medvedev that the U.S dollar is on notice.

“The artificially maintained unipolar system”, he lectured, is based on “one big centre of consumption, financed by a growing deficit and … one formerly strong reserve currency.” At the root of the global financial crisis, he concluded, is that the US makes too little and spends too much.   “The summit must create the conditions for a fairer world order.” …The BRICs have put the US dollar on notice, and are already finding alternatives as a means of clearing accounts. Medvedev called for the IMF to include the Russian ruble and the Chinese yuan in the basket of currencies used to value its financial products. But that is just for starters. Chinese Central Bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan says the goal is now to create a reserve currency “that is disconnected from individual nations.”sourced at  http://dprogram.net/2009/06/24/a-new-world-is-being-born-one-without-the-us-dollar-greasing-the-wheels-of-commerce/

China, known for it’s Human Rights violations says, “It is a common wish of people of all countries to solve the drug problem as soon as possible and to build this planet into a healthy, civilized, happy and beautiful world.” http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/zt/mzpkz/t36387.htm   “Those convicted of drug-related crimes in China face harsh penalties, in some cases capital punishment. Drug abusers and addicts must undergo rehabilitation at police-run facilities or labor camps. Reformers are attempting to introduce community-based treatment approaches to a system dominated by zero tolerance.”http://www.erowid.org/psychoactives/law/countries/law_china.shtml

Apparently, the perceptions of a dead American dollar and a dead American soldier can be overcome by getting stoned on government subsidized Marijuana and Opium in The Obama Administration.

Changes I don’t want to believe in….

Whew, finally summer has arrived and we survived the horrendous winter weather.  Folks in NJ got a big surprise last week with a huge hailstorm wrecking  havoc http://www.northjersey.com/multimedia/video/48114892.html -again illustrating the disproportion between science and reality. BTW- The House passed the American Clean Energy and Security Act, by a vote of 219-212.

The kids are off school and we are sleeping in a bit and planning for a few summer holidays.  We are  not leaving U.S. Soil- the greatest place on earth, even with all its faults.  Hawaii is out with North Korea threatening a missile attack near Independence Day.  California?  Nah, besides sitting on a major earthquake fault line, is too liberal for me.  MTV has been broadcasting all about Cancun, but we’ve been there and done that and I see no reason to support a government that can not manage to report influenza cases in a timely manner. ” Bahamas, Bermuda, Come on Pretty Mama”…The Beach Boys.  Suggestions welcomed on where to go.

Our holiday is still up for discussion as the economy just sucks and I have been tortured into hearing more about alleged pedophile Michael Jackson than necessary.

Flipping to the net, I see Ben Bernanke the Fed Chair is feeling a bit challenged over Ron Paul’s Transparency Act that would allow an audit of the Fed.  Oh boo hoo, where did our nine trillion dollars go, why doesn’t anyone know and most importantly, what is there to hide?

Wherever and whenever we go, if we go at all-  like many Americans we go to the bank and take out what I call ‘play money’.  You know, money to play with- to buy the things we don’t really need but really want- like a Summer Vacation- preferably at the unpolluted, jelly fish free beaches.

What if the banks go on holiday?  I am cognizant of the FDR bank holiday. 1000’s of banks never reopened in a face saving measure.  How many of our banks have no value, burdened by debt and bad mortgages?  How many banks are now owned by the U.S. Government?  How would I get to my safe deposit box if the bank was out of business?  Would it’s meager contents have any value anyways?

The hissy fit regulators are having near seizures over opening their books to public scrutiny, and once again I have to adjust antennae to tune in to exactly what the hell is going on and if bank closures could happen.

A bank holiday would certainly push the dollar’s value lower adding more rational to BRICs plan of adopting other IMF baskets of currencies.  Gold, already at a high premium would most likely increase, especially with the U.S. Mint announcing that there is a shortage of gold to produce certain coins.  The mint will continue to issue Presidential Coins and, “In God We Trust” will appear on the face of the coin starting in 2009. http://www.usmint.gov/mint%5Fprograms/%241coin/ Surely all that glitters is not gold.  I Trust in God, but the Fed, Obama, The World Bank or International Monetary Fund?

A Bank Holiday might just suit the needs of the U.S. economy according to some.  The rumor mill is that U.S Embassies are buying local currency. The Harry Schultz Letter (HSL) seems to reiterate that a Bank Holiday could occur http://www.marketwatch.com/story/schultz-paints-bleak-picture-of-future?siteid=rss&rss=1   With a grain of salt I quote its current issue, HSL reports rumors that “Some U.S. embassies worldwide are being advised to purchase massive amounts of local currencies; enough to last them a year. Some embassies are being sent enormous amounts of U.S. cash to purchase currencies from those governments, quietly. But not pound sterling. Inside the State Dept., there is a sense of sadness and foreboding that ‘something’ is about to happen … within 180 days, but could be 120-150 days.”

One commentator at  put it like this:  If true, the reason is this. Our Embassies all over the world employ millions of local nationals. Day to day operating costs are staggering, from food purchasing to fuel purchasing to utilities to meeting the local payroll. Local currency pays for all those expenses. When the USD crashes, local currencies may not be able to be purchased with USD’s. Even in a slow-mo devaluation, trying to buy enough local currency for day to day operation will be very very expensive. Should the USD become severely devalued or worthless, our Embassies will not be able to operate….http://goldismoney.info/forums/showthread.php?t=379225 Believe you me we have ambassadors everywhere http://www.usembassy.gov/.

President Obama is attempting to federalize the police and Department of Defense across the US with his civilian workforce.  If the shit hits the fan, banks go on holiday by September, civil unrest and Martial Law occurs between the money and the flu, the government will be all ready to take care of us. cough, cough.

I better get a move on somewhere and spend it while my money is still good. Yet, ” Consumer spending rose in May as benefits from the Obama administration’s stimulus plan spurred a jump in American incomes, a sign that efforts to revive the economy are starting to pay off….Stocks and the dollar dropped after China’s central bank again called for a new global currency.  http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=a6xBheN2SW.o  Leave it to Bloomberg to give the credit to Obama and not the hard working folks of America who just want a little vacation.

Auditing The Federal Reserve is long overdue.  http://www.federalreserve.gov/oig/oig_bio.htm Elizabeth Coleman as the inspector general of the Federal Reserve of the United States and is supposed to be responsible for preventing and detecting waste, fraud, and abuse, but in a videotaped Congressional testimony, she acknowledged that she can’t account for many trillions of dollars of our taxpayers money. TRILLIONS.   Specifically she says she knows nothing about nine trillion dollars ($9,000,000,000,000) that is claimed to be unaccounted for.

Congressman Alan Grayson of Florida on May 6th asks about the huge piles of money that the Federal Reserve is responsible for,  saying “I have to tell you honestly, I am shocked to find out that nobody at the Federal Reserve, including the Inspector General, is keeping track of [the unaccounted for trillions].” sourced at http://www.examiner.com/x-6495-US-Intelligence-Examiner~y2009m5d22-Federal-Reserve-Inspector-General-hedges-on-trillions-missing-in-Congressional-hearing

In an effort to find trillions of dollars we turn to The Federal Reserve Transparency Act, “To amend title 31, United States Code, to reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States and the manner in which such audits are reported, and for other purposes. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-1207 .  By my account it must have taken several years to misplace so much money, so any deceit has been going on for years.

While the the Reserve is owned by its member banks and not by the government, it issues currency and charges interest.  These banks certainly would never want an audit, but the American people do and so does Congressman Ron Paul with over 200 of your elected officials as co-sponsors of the bill.   www.ronpaul.com continues to crash my system so enter at your own risk.

Is there any money or gold at Fort Knox either? My bet is that there is nothing but gold dust laying in the vaults.  As Proof from The U.S. Mint on June 22, 2009- http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&categoryId=13238&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10191&top_category=10191:

Production of United States Mint American Eagle Gold Proof and Uncirculated Coins has been temporarily suspended because of unprecedented demand for American Eagle Gold Bullion Coins . Currently, all available 22-karat gold blanks are being allocated to the American Eagle Gold Bullion Coin Program, as the United States Mint is required by Public Law 99-185 to produce these coins “in quantities sufficient to meet public demand . . . .”

The United States Mint will resume the American Eagle Gold Proof and Uncirculated Coin Programs once sufficient inventories of gold bullion blanks can be acquired to meet market demand for all three American Eagle Gold Coin products. Additionally, as a result of the recent numismatic product portfolio analysis, fractional sizes of American Eagle Gold Uncirculated Coins will no longer be produced.

America is out of gold and money and we are headed up a shit creek.  So what about silver and other metals to make bullets and guns?  Can’t seem to buy that easily either, “It’s no secret, of course, that small-denomination bullion is hard to come by and gun sales are way up, but finding out first-hand that this stuff is unavailable brings home the reality of the situation, which is that the social mood is growing darker. On the surface everything looks normal; no one is protesting in the streets, the trash is getting picked up, and elections are as orderly as ever. But the market is quietly reallocating resources as individuals insure against a systemic breakdown” http://news.goldseek.com/DollarCollapse/1245697526.php

Speaker-Rep. James Traficant, Jr. (Ohio)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Traficant warned numerous times of looming catastrophe before being sentenced to prison for being convicted of taking bribes, filing false tax returns, racketeering, and requiring office workers to perform chores at his farm in Ohio and on his houseboat in Washington, D.C..  He is currently serving an eight-year prison term with a projected release date of September 2, 2009http://www.bop.gov/iloc2/InmateFinderServlet?Transaction=NameSearch&needingMoreList=false&LastName=traficant&Middle=&FirstName=james&Race=U&Sex=U&Age=&x=0&y=0  Traficant turned down an offer of early release to a halfway house in Youngstown, Ohio because the prison official there testified against him.  Either way government officials must be so happy to have him tucked away having said:

“It is an established fact that the United States Federal Government has been dissolved by the Emergency Banking Act, March 9, 1933, 48 Stat. 1, Public Law 89-719; declared by President Roosevelt, being bankrupt and insolvent. H.J.R. 192, 73rd Congress m session June 5, 1933 – Joint Resolution To Suspend The Gold Standard and Abrogate The Gold Clause dissolved the Sovereign Authority of the United States and the official capacities of all United States Governmental Offices, Officers, and Departments and is further evidence that the United States Federal Government exists today in name only.” http://www.apfn.net/DOC-100_bankruptcy.htm

We need to bring accountability to the Federal Reserve now before Obama and anyone else in government spends one more dime.  Have these people been tripping over quarters to pick up pennies for so long to be so ignorant and incompetent or it it just the little old taxpayer who continues to deny we are in a financial meltdown?

Amazingly, gold was recovered from the rubble of The World Trade Center but  http://factsnotfairies.blogspot.com/2009/06/they-hate-us-for-our-gold.html notes the convenience of it all and explores the theory that something was amiss.

“We are on the verge of a global transformation.  All we [ the CFR ] need is the right major crisis and the nation[s] will accept the New World Order.”  End Quote.  David Rockefeller: Founder and Honorary Chairman, Council of the Americas; Chairman, Americas Society; Founder, Forum of the Americas; Chairman, Emeritus, Council on Foreign Relations [CFR]; Founder and Honorary Chairman, Trilateral Commission [TC]; Chairman, The Bilderbergs.

Loose lipped Joe Biden warned of looming crisis. Between the Public Health Emergency over the Pandemic A/H1N1 Swine Flu, North Korea taking aim at Hawaii, discourse throughout the world, the events of 9-11 and the Federal Reserve misplacing NINE TRILLION dollars, the crisis are indeed adding up.  America sits in the eye of the perfect storm for the change you don’t want to believe in.

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office projects that publicly held debt will reach 56.1 percent of GDP under current law. If President Obama’s budget is implemented, CBO projects debt to reach 82.4 percent of GDP  according to http://www.heritage.org/research/features/BudgetChartBook/Obama-Budget-Increase-Debt-26-Percent-GDP.aspx

You can keep track of our spending ways at the National Debt clock  http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/

While George Bush may not be a saint, but Obama is looking more and more like a sinner- spending more than any other President in history. The National Debt was $10.6-trillion on the day Barack Obama took office, if his budget projections come to fruition, he’ll run up nearly as much government debt in four years as President Bush did in eight.

From, A Pfennig for For your thoughts http://www.dailypfennig.com/ , “we’ll see the Budget Deficit, which is expected to be $180 Billion for the month of May… If it tallies there at $180 Billion, the Budget Deficit in the first 5 months of this year will have exceeded $650 Billion… And that’s before the $787 Stimulus gets added… And other items that will come along… And don’t forget that we posted a deficit in April!  I still believe the Budget Deficit will be at least $3 Trillion this year! That would push our National Debt to around $14 Trillion…” For a great explanation of “why do the annual federal budget deficits not match increases in the national debt,” visit http://www.independent.org/blog/?p=2355

Twice as nice for a Wednesday, both Trade Deficit and Budget Deficit will be released today. Ten Banks are going to repay their TARP (troubled assets relief program) funds, to the tune of nearly $70 billion, but that will barely put a dent in America’s economic decline, say nothing of the move toward socialized everything.

Senators Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.)”vowed again Tuesday to vote against — and, if possible, filibuster — the troop-funding bill and all other legislation until they get their way,” according to http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/09/lieberman-graham-threaten_n_213262.html The hissy fit is over a photo amendment that would prevent the release of the Gitmo torture photos forever and ever.

“Transparency in government is an American value, but it is not without limits, no more than any of the values embraced in our Constitution,” Lieberman said. “The transparency in this case is needless and dangerous transparency.”

Their actions have merit.  The world does not need to see how low America stooped.  Too bad these two didn’t have the balls necessary during the campaign to warn that an Obama administration of transparency, would only come when it was convenient for Obama.  If nothing else, this Senate delay saves us a few bucks while the debate goes on.

According to CNN- President Barack Obama on Tuesday proposed making “pay-as-you-go” rules for federal spending into law.  The so-called PAYGO proposal requires Congress to balance any increased spending by equal savings elsewhere. By all accounts, added entitlement spending will be offset with spending cursor tax increases. Talk about bait and switch!

ABC points out, “discretionary spending – roughly 40% of the federal budget – is not covered by PAYGO.” The PAYGO rules will apply to new tax cuts and mandatory spending, with four major exemptions – any renewal of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts, the continued efforts to “patch” the Alternative Minimum Tax, any effort to address physician’s payments in Medicare, and modifying the estate tax.” http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/06/president-obama-paygo-and-the-deficit-hole.html

“”This is like quitting drinking, but making an exception for beer and hard liquor,” said Maya MacGuineas, President of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB). “Exempting these measures from PAYGO would increase the ten-year deficit by over $2.5 trillion dollars. That’s not fiscal responsibility.” I’ll have a nice chardonnay please, and it better not be the frig from France.

60% of the budget is not subject to PAYGO.  Why is no one having a hissy fit over that?  While President Obama may enjoy a 60% approval rating, PAYGO and his expensive socialistic plans still don’t achieve his goals.  Bush might have spent a pretty dime, but at least is was shining in democracy.

props to http://chalktalk-talk.blogspot.com/2009/06/worldwide-national-debt.html on the Percent of GDP.  Japan debt is equally dismal especially in light of recent military actions on the part of it’s neighbor North Korea.   Obama who continues his spiel of climate change for jobs might want to take a look at Japans which “is doing the smart thing by not meeting it’s ‘Kyoto Protocol’ targets and is only pledging to cut it’s future CO2 emissions by 8%. Via http://motorcitytimes.com/mct/japan-will-protect-its-economy-first/  Right now they need jobs and so do we.

I think I”ll have a Saki instead of that chardonnay after all.

My share of I.O.U.S.A. debt leaves little room for more than a sip out of the White House Fountain.

President Obama is scheduled to return to the United Sinking States of America sometime today after yet another standing room only rock star tour.   In six days, he traveled to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Germany and France.  He delivered the kind eloquent speeches that GW could nary do, not fumbling a word; but filled with contextual imperfections that leave many nations reading between the lines as to his intentions.  In reviewing Obama’s quotes from the tour, Firedog Lake asks, “Is it me, or is awaiting Obama’s follow-through a bit like standing in front of a slot machine wondering if a payoff will actually come.” http://oxdown.firedoglake.com/diary/5644

This tour paid off with some family time in Paris where Obama lit a candle and listened to a children’s choir in the 12th century Notre Dame cathedral.  Awww, how nice!  Not only does he have honorary degree from Notre Dame University, but what a privilege to be in a church where no one at the pulpit says, ” God Damn America.”  Surely, he would rather have been at the Springsteen show for the Working On A Dream tour that was playing in Stockholm.  http://www.backstreets.com/news.html

Obama will be begin his next tour with his political group Organizing for America with his return to the United Sinking States of America today.  This  public relations tour looks to again remove the rights of individual states and citizens, and increase reliance on the federal government.

In conquering the banking and auto industry, the health care industry is next on the socialistic agenda. In the weekly blog at http://www.whitehouse.gov/the_press_office/WEEKLY-ADDRESS-President-Obama-Outlines-Goals-for-Health-Care-Reform/  Obama said, “We must attack the root causes of skyrocketing health care costs.  Some of these costs are the result of unwarranted profiteering that has no place in our health care system.”  When did profit become so wrong in capitalism?

“After months of insisting he would leave the details to Congress, President Obama has concluded that he must exert greater control over the health care debate and is preparing an intense push for legislation that will include speeches, town-hall-style meetings and much deeper engagement with lawmakers, senior White House officials say.” http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/07/us/politics/07policy.html?_r=1&hp  “Obviously,” Mr. Emanuel said, “the president’s adoption of something makes it easier to vote for, because he’s — let’s be honest — popular, and the public trusts him.”

Popularity may have won him the election, but the battle on the hill is full of distrust and maneuvering.  A new Harris Poll reveals that no one in Obama’s Cabinet and administration is helping his strong popularity ratings at all.  http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2009/06/harris-poll-obama-team-pelosi.html Most disheartening, the poll reveals, ” The new online poll of 2,681 American adults taken last month shows that after eight years of the well-known Evil Crowd, many on Obama’s team are not only not well-known, they’re little-known. Almost unknown.”  Is there any wonder why Americans wake up each day and “ask yourself-well…how did I get here? ” http://www.lyricsfreak.com/t/talking+heads/once+in+a+lifetime_20135070.html from The Talking Heads.

Tickets for the trust Obama tour aren’t cheap.  From The Daily Pfennig, a daily email newsletter from Everbank https://www.everbank.com/  so far have cost , “Your family’s share of the government debt is now over half a million dollars. A record $546,668, to be exact. That cheery Monday stat comes courtesy of a USA Today study, which claims that each American family’s share rose 12% in 2008. That’s $55,000 in new government debt last year for every US household – thousands more than the median household annual income. ”  Add in the bailouts of 2009 and if health care is expensive now, just wait until we see the ticket price when the government takes over.

The ticket cost for freedom is priceless.  The ticket price for the Obama Administration plan to change the world and America’s health care; to be determined later, in full transparency of course.

Patients United Now – http://patientsunitednow.com/?q=node/233 (which is anti-nationalized healthcare group) has posted what it claims is a copy of the forthcoming Obama healthcare bill. It’s 167 pages long also posted at  http://www.businessinsider.com/help-analyze-obamas-health-care-bill-2009-6

NorthKmissile

North Korea isn’t the only country that has missile capability to hit the USA, and they are clearly taking aim not only at Alaska; but at The New World Order that they want no part of.  North Korea is one of the world’s most secretive societies next to the Illuminati.

While the Illuminati existence is arguable, North Korea officially named the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea,  remains under strict communist rule and clouded in secrecy.  Supreme Leader Kim Jong-il has headed up a hard lined state controlled, totalitarian system since 1998.  It’s dismal economy, numerous natural disasters, and human rights failures have not stopped its nuclear ambitions, but have increased its ongoing isolation from the outside world and by all accounts Kim Jong-il likes it that way.

Unapologetic, they do as they please.   Who is going to stop them?  Al Jazeera reports, “Warning the North that its actions will “no longer be rewarded”, James Steinberg, the US deputy secretary of state,  told Lee Myung-bak, the South Korean president, that “North Korea would be mistaken if it thinks it can make provocations and then get what it wants through negotiation as it did in the past. The US won’t repeat the same mistake again”.

America in the past has done what it deems necessary to maintain our unprecedented freedoms.  Should the rest of the world have the same privilege? Is is in our best interest to demilitarize, while North Korea fires away numerous missiles and continues to hold underground nuclear tests?  GWB said it best, “You are either with us or against us in the fight against terror.”

North Korea has one of the world’s largest armies even though the west claims standards in training, discipline and equipment are reported to be poor.  One thing they have excelled at is the building of tunnels along the border with South Korea, leading into Seoul.  Tunnel Hunters claim to have evidence that at least 20 others have been dug in 2005.  Tunnels reaching 60 miles toward the heart of Seoul and capable of moving thousands of troops within hours. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/2982213.stm

I doubt North Korea will barely bat an eye at the fact that “The United States has agreed to sell “bunker-buster” bombs to South Korea that are capable of destroying underground facilities in North Korea, a military official said Tuesday. ”   They wont be be delivered to South Korea until sometime between 2010 and 2014 http://www.spacewar.com/2006/090602122750.0ln21iq0.html.  – 4 years? 4 years too late.

The Obama budget has numerous military cuts and that may be the reason for the delay.  Ironically, Obama has proposed shutting down Yucca Mountain nuclear storage facility.  I wonder where he intends to store the nuclear waste instead?  Just keep it in loaded on a missile warhead? Obama still has no plan for the Gitmo detainees for heaven’s sake.

Read the Obama budget here http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/02/26/fy10.budget.pdf

Just imagine what Kim Jong-il thinks when Obama reads his TelePrompter to talk about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the fact that we still have not found Bin Laden- who is most likely hiding in the tunnels.  Bin Laden continues his threats in this most recent tape saying “Obama and his administration have sown new seeds to increase hatred and revenge on America,” at http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=10576368  Obama is on a world tour trying to keeping peace with the Muslims without pissing off Israel, who also has nuclear capability.

An American military official confirmed an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of striking the U.S. was being readied and it appears capable of reaching Alaska,  said Fox News.   Satellite images from the GlobalSecurity website show the new Tongchang-ni launch site in the North’s west coast near China.  A missile with armed with a  nuclear warhead, even with a miss, would most certainly impact the population and environment.  In 2003 a NK Missile warhead was found previously in Alaska http://able2know.org/topic/4901-1.

Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan left for Washington to consult with his counterpart (Hillary Clinton, perhaps?) and prepare for a June 16 summit between Obama and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak.  Reports have suggested that North Korea may try to time its next missile launch to coincide with the summit.

It would be the perfect time to once again show the might of not only North Korea but of the technology that America supplied to them in the first place.  http://www.infowars.com/north-koreas-nukes-paid-for-by-the-us-government/ reports, “Rumsfeld was also the man who presided over a $200 million dollar contract to deliver equipment and services to build two light water reactor stations in North Korea in January 2000 when he was an executive director of ABB (Asea Brown Boveri).  In The New World Order, I guess we share and share alike, eh?

In April 2009 North Korea walked out of talks aimed at ending its nuclear activities.  “Senior U.S. diplomats pressed North Korea on Wednesday to halt its belligerent behavior and return to nuclear disarmament talks even as the isolated communist nation pushed ahead with preparations to launch a long-range ballistic missile….The U.N. Security Council meanwhile continued to discuss how to punish the North.” says http://www.thestate.com/world/story/812144.html.  Punish them just how?  Attack, invade, sanctions that have never worked?  By calling them belligerent?  Economic sanctions to an already starving nation?

Weapons of mass destruction can be a deterrent, look at the atomic bombs dropped America dropped on Japan.  It took not one bomb but two- Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  Somewhere along the lines, America had become the world’s defender of The New World Order and globalization; but where Obama takes us, only the future will tell but,  “At almost every stop, Obama has made clear that the U.S. is but one actor in a global community.  Talk of American economic supremacy has been replaced by a call from Obama for more growth in developing countries. Claims of American military supremacy have been replaced with heavy emphasis on cooperation and diplomatic hard labor.” according to Time http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1889512,00.html

North Korea is playing by its own rules and making the game up as it goes along.  So far in America, The New World Order has resulted in something like a staggering half a million dollar debt per family according to Evergreen Securities, let alone the millions of jobs lost.  Seems Obama is playing by his own rules and making the game up as he goes along.

It is just as staggering in The New World Order to have a rogue leader who defies what the rest of the world finds appropriate.

Are we talking about Kim Jong-il or Obama?

Thirsty?  How about some chlorine to go with the fluoride and pharmaceutical remnants in your water?  The unending list of contaminants in water and elsewhere — now often called “micro-constituents” appears to be endless.

Contaminants now commonly found in drinking water include tiny traces of pesticides, herbicides, flame retardants, DEET, mosquito repellent, aircraft de-icers, lead, arsenic, mercury and esters, ketone’s and other chemicals found in personal care products. Not to mention additives in toothpaste meant to retard gum and tooth disease. http://www.wqpmag.com/Safe-for-Drinking-article9121

“Like many US Cities, Palm Beach County plans to flush its water lines with chlorine, which could cause a slight taste and odor in tap water later this month.  The stronger disinfection process to clean out water lines will be from June 15 to July 15. Those sensitive to the taste and odor can fill a container with tap water and keep it open in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow the chlorine to dissipate. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/content/local_news/epaper/2009/06/01/0601chlorine.html?cxtype=rss&cxsvc=7&cxcat=76  The refrigerator?

“Adding chlorine to the water can produce byproducts such as iron oxide, magnesium oxide or calcium oxide, it can also produce trihalomethanes (THMs), including the most often reported THM member—chloroform.” http://www.wqpmag.com/Safe-for-Drinking-article9121

So much for green infrastructure under the Obama Administration.  Water programs and the US Environmental Protection Agency would see huge boosts in the detailed budget for FY2010 released by President Obama but he also terminated funding for 301 earmarks for water projects.  http://www.awwa.org/Publications/StreamlinesArticle.cfm?ItemNumber=48230

If you find yourself thirsty for change, Obama water is on sale.  The plastic bottles may contain polyethylene terephthalate (PET) as the toxins may leach into the water but research is on going.  Oh Barack, how refreshing!

The administration has written to Senate and House committees urging them to act on bills that would restore federal jurisdiction over all wetlands and streams in the U.S..  “The Clean Water Act was broadly interpreted by the courts and federal regulators as shielding all the waters of the United States — seasonal streams and remote wetlands as well as lakes and large navigable rivers. The basic idea was that even the smallest waters have some connection to larger watersheds, and that they, too, need to be protected from pollution and development.”  http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/02/opinion/02tue3.html?_r=1

The gederal governement defines water here- http://www.epa.gov/wetlands/guidance/CWAwaters.html

As if the Federal Land Management Grab Act wasn’t enough, the federal government under Obama; not the states, not municipalities, not you who fishes in your backyard pond will have any control over private or public lakes, streams or ponds.   Want to build a nice deck, a gazebo, a boat dock, a swimming float?  Forgeddabout it.  Say nothing of governments right to seizure.

Mix chemical laced water with a pack of kool-aid, loaded with Nutrasweet or Splenda, and your all set for another Obama intrusion on your personal property rights.  Might as well add the Absolut Vodka; we are absolutely loosing another of our rights.

Don’t even get me started on New Yorks bottle bill.  http://www.observer.com/term/bottle-bill

The EPA offers this http://www.epa.gov/safewater/dwh/index.html on drinking water and health.

You have to hand it to Obama to never miss an opportunity to get in front of a teleprompter.  General Motors in filing bankruptcy today will officially become Government Motors.  President Obama will hold an 11:30 a.m. event to discuss it even though last night the White House released this fact sheet fact sheet (.doc file) also available at http://www.autonews.com/assets/DOC/CA61689531.DOC.  Thank God it is not during Prime Time TV.

His blathering and this document lay out the Obama Administrations details of its plan for General Motors to help it emerge from restructuring quickly.  The automaker will get $30.1 billion of additional taxpayer money to restructure a smaller-company- a New GM and in return the Treasury Department has the right to appoint the initial directors.  Another $9.5 billion will come from Canada.

“In addition, the U.S. Treasury’s ability to prevent any change in control of us could also have an adverse effect on the market price of our common stock. The U.S. Treasury may also, subject to applicable securities laws, transfer all or any of its portion of our common stock to another person or entity and, in the event of such a transfer, that person or entity could become the controlling stockholder.” http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/editorial-between-the-lines-gm-does-not-welcome-its-new-governmental-overlords/ The Treasury could conceivably transfer the stock to China to pay off debts!

Dealscape lists the GM Bankruptcy petition filing June 1, 2009 at 7:57 am in its entirety here http://www.thedeal.com/dealscape/2009/06/gm_files_chapter_11.php

The nature of the claims and claim debts amounts are staggering.

1.  Wilmington Trust $22.7 Billion

2.  UAW $20.5 Billion

3.  Deutche Bank  $4.4  Billion

4.  IUE $2.6 Billion

GM’s Total Assets on a consolidated basis $82.2 Billion

GM’s Total Debt on a consolidated basis $172.8 Billion

GM was world’s largest automaker for years.  It has been a technological marvel pushing the limits of technology, and marketing the fact that it’s brands were a mark of status.  Quality suffered over the years giving the Japanese auto giant, Toyota Motor Corp., the perfect opportunity to win the trophy as the world’s largest automaker, but it too has been beaten down by a sagging economy and credit crisis.  On May 8, 2009, Toyota reported a record annual net loss of $4.4 billion. An ad for the newest Prius feature the American Icon Superman standing next to the car in front of a photo of the globe.  http://toyota.jp/  Even superman could not have saved GM.

In total disgust, Michael Moore had this to say; ” So here we are at the deathbed of General Motors. The company’s body not yet cold, and I find myself filled with — dare I say it — joy. It is not the joy of revenge against a corporation that ruined my hometown and brought misery, divorce, alcoholism, homelessness, physical and mental debilitation, and drug addiction to the people I grew up with.”  http://www.dailykos.com/story/2009/6/1/737485/-Goodbye,-GM  Dare I say, my joy would having never have to hear or read anything you have to say again you ignoramus.  Thousands are loosing their jobs, the government is buying a car company, and Moore has the balls to have joy?  Normally I would hope he gets a lump of coal in his Christmas stocking. Even that would be too good for him, as some coal miner had to dig it up to provide fuel for his country and to help run the factory that Moore is so joyfully ecstatic over.

GM president and CEO Fritz Henderson said, “From day one, the New GM will be well-positioned to capitalize on the award-winning vehicles we have developed and launched during the past few years, and on our investments in exciting new technologies like the Chevy Volt.”  Henderson will host a press conference right after Obama’s spiel.  Toyota is already laughing! http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/volt-birth-watch-141-toyota-laughs-at-the-volt-indirectly/ ” There’s no way the expensive, non-“rent-paying” Volt helps GM make money – at least in the short term. So, it’s a good idea to ditch it.” wrote http://www.autobloggreen.com/2009/05/29/wsj-keeping-the-chevy-volt-alive-doesnt-make-sense-for-governm/.

If  GM was a 500 lb gorilla with “misguided marketing, poor product direction, spotty quality control, random product cycles–simply not working.”, after Ch. 11 they will be a 200 lb gorilla with “misguided marketing, poor product direction, spotty quality control, random product cycles–simply not working.”  now led by the Automotive Task force and President Obama!

Wall Street almost killed Detroit the first time with the credit crunch writes http://www.thebigmoney.com/blogs/shifting-gears/2009/05/31/how-wall-street-almost-killed-detroit.  Can GM, the government and the tax payer kiss and make up?  Hardly, kissing is only foreplay to getting fu#$%d yet again. After 83 years on the New York Stock Exchange, GM has been de-listed. “The parlous state of GM has left us with no choice but to remove it from the Dow,” said Robert Thomson, managing editor of The Wall Street Journal and editor-in-chief for all of Dow Jones. ”A bankruptcy filing immediately disqualifies a stock regardless of a company’s history or its role as a cultural icon.”  Tough shit for stockholders, eh?

Oh, just kiss me you fool, and hurry before the gas tax and the VAT tax take effect.

The Obama administration is steering the wheels of not only General Motors and Chrysler into bankruptcy, but the FDIC- Federal Insurance Corporation in the new world order.

General Motors Corp. president and Chief Executive Officer Fritz Henderson has scheduled a news conference in New York on Monday, when the Detroit automaker is expected to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  Having propped up the failing automaker with billions of our tax dollars already, the government will take somewhere around a 70% ownership role.

Perhaps the automakers should have been allowed to sink or swim in a free market economy months ago, none-the-less they are sinking now and fast.  So much innovation has come from the auto industry from safety, better fuel management, satellite tracking, etc. GM filed more than 300 patents last year alone and there in lies the money honey.

Patents are the single most important asset class upon which economic recovery and sustainable prosperity now depend, especially in light of  the collapse of traditional asset-based markets says The Automaker Patent Assets Intelligence Report APA-Intel Report 2009, Comparative Quantitative Analysis Automaker Innovation and US Patent Portfolio Quality is here: http://www.ipfrontline.com/downloads/apa-intel-09.pdf

“Beyond the auto industry, the veracity of statistical patent asset measurement applies equally to every other industry core to our economy: computers, semiconductors, biotech, pharmaceuticals, software, medical devices, and oil and gas, to name a few. ”  writes http://www.cafezine.com/depts/article.asp?id=22652&deptid=8

Andy Gibbs, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PatentCafe, said: “The APA-Intel Report on patents is the first of its kind that provides an in-depth comparison of the quality of patent portfolios owned by Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors, against their largest Japanese and European counterparts. High quality patents provide huge revenue opportunities, and low quality patents increase operational risk.”  The report notes that Green Tech” replacing “EnviroTech” as a more contemporary term has the most to gain, backing Obama’s policy that a greener world will cure all that ails us.  Except maybe Swine Flu.

Reinforcing Obama’s environmental policy and getting her to shut up about CIA memos, Nancy Pelosi was in China spewing that we must all take inventory and that a clean environment should be a basic right.  This, as markets are in the shitter, North Korea is launching missiles and testing nukes, and we are at war in Iran and Afghanistan. “The impact of climate change is a tremendous risk to the security and well-being of our countries.” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/05/28/pelosis-new-tactic-tellin_n_208488.html.  If I vomit on the grass instead of the toilet- does that count as recycling?

The Republican National Committee slammed  Barack and Michelle Obama’s date night  an “RNC Research Piece”: “As President Obama prepares to wing into Manhattan’s theater district on Air Force One to take in a Broadway show, GM is preparing to file bankruptcy and families across America continue to struggle to pay their bills. … Have a great Saturday evening – even if you’re not jetting off somewhere at taxpayer expense. … PUTTING ON A SHOW: Obama’s Wing Into The City For An Evening Out While Another Iconic American Company Prepares For Bankruptcy. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0509/23122.html

Making a habit of dining out, Obama ate at Five Guys on Friday and while waiting for his order, President Obama appears to have learned of the existence of a Defense Department intelligence arm, the National Geo spacial Intelligence Agency- NGA-an agency employee also at the burger restaurant.  Too bad it wasn’t some one from the FDIC who could have told him that that the fund is is at an all time low of just $13 billion as of march 31st  or 0.27% of $4.8 trillion in insured deposits! </span

While depositors have been seeking a safe haven from the stock market, and banks continue to falter, insured deposits have hit all time highs.  The FDIC is all but insolvent. " http://zerohedge.blogspot.com/2009/03/bailoutspotting-or-search-for-great.html writes “At its heart, the FDIC is an insurer of deposits. It does this not so much with actual cash which would pay off depositors if there were a global run on the bank (which is negligible when compared to the total size of roughly $5 trillion in deposits), but by being a symbol of the U.S. guarantee to protect its depositors.” </span

The inclusion of "In God We Trust" on all currency was required by law in 1955.  The Federal Reserve guarantees those dollars for now, but for how long?  Even the big 3 have warranty programs, but again for how long?  The car I drive has a rosary on it to protect our family while we drive and that invisible trust in my gas guzzling SUV and God remains, but faith in Obama to restore the automotive and the banking industry?

Novus Ordo Seclorum is shown on a ribbon below the pyramid and translated as "a new order of the ages."  President Obama has been very open about his global agenda and as the world debates rescinding the dollar as the global currency, he is steering us away from national sovereignty and capitalism.

Late as usual, we all made it dressed in red, white and blue to our little podunk parade.  One of our elected officials also flies C-130’s, so we got a treat of a fly by at maybe 1500 feet overhead.  AWESOME.

Just one of thousand’s of parades, but the best part comes at the conclusion. The flag raising, playing of the National Anthem, and the 21 gun salute which sounded more like cap guns still all convince me that there is no greater country than America and how much a privilege it is to live here to be able to attend even a hokey ceremony.

The village mayor and a local Reverend did the speeches honoring all who have served and both reminded us that Memorial Day is about remembrance.  President Obama in another major gaffe had this to say- “On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.”  Dead people in the crowd, huh?

Noting that Memorial Day is not Veteran’s Day – http://politicalderby.com/2009/05/25/obama-needs-to-google-memorial-day/ had this to say, “Hey, weren’t you the one that was considering a plan to make veterans pay for their medical treatment?  At any rate, I find it disheartening that he would lump us all in the category of ‘not paying respect to veterans’ to cover up his own shortcomings in that department. Newsflash Obama-wan: There are many of us who hold the utmost respect for those who have worn the uniform, served, and given his life for the cause of freedom. Many of us already celebrate Memorial Day (not Veteran’s Day) by honoring the brave men and women who have died to protect our freedoms and liberties. And there are many of us who would rather spend federal money on our military than converter boxes for digital television.”

“We at American Grand Jury are still asking the presumed president to stand up, become a man and quit hiding. Before you Mr. Obama are the charges of Eligibility and Treason. You speak of honor and integrity to the our fighting men yet you hide the truth from them as no president has ever done before.” http://www.oilforimmigration.org/facts/?p=1886

Our flags are flying, the pool is open, beers are cold, hot dogs ready, pasta salad made.  I wonder if the Obama’s will be eating Kobe beef burgers, maybe lobsters from Boston?  Salad from the thousand dollar organic White House Garden?

Americans are to observe the National Moment of Remembrance beginning at 3:00 p.m. local time on Memorial Day.  I wonder if  Janet Napolitano is worried about all those military extremists on this most special of days.

God Bless America.  Don’t get drunk and drive.
