Ask Siri what airplanes are flying over your head and she can tell you. Took her a few seconds to think about that, low and behold- Siri is a smart chick. Gave me a whole list. Ck it out. Its like a free flight tracker app. Nice.

As Arizona’s immigration policy does what the federal government won’t, The Department of Homeland Security has now declared a Terror Alert along the Mexico U.S. border.

It is akin to an all points bulletin and searching for a needle in a haystack. While your looking for terrorists would you mind stopping a few of those Mexican illegal immigrants who are still flocking to border states like Arizona and Texas. Obama and other elected officials have publicly admitted to not reading the bill, yet cry wolf and ignore the problems.
An administration official confirmed to Fox News that Obama plans to deploy the National Guard troops as needed. Mr. President, with all due respect, “as needed” would be right the frig now. Sending some 1,200 troops is a flea on a camel’s ass- insignificant.

Pinal County sheriff’s Lt. Tamatha Villar says the deputy suffered a superficial wound to his abdomen after being shot with an AK-47 assault rifle Friday afternoon.

These planes are being loaded with dispersants to quell the oil spill in the Gulf. Obama is scheduled to visit New Orleans on Friday, but his handlers may alter his plans due to the area being, ” hazardous to his health.”
The U.S. Coast Guard has pulled commercial fishing boats from oil cleanup efforts in Breton Sound off the Louisiana coast after several people became ill. The Coast Guard says crew members on three vessels reported nausea, dizziness, headaches and chest pains Wednesday afternoon. Four people were hospitalized, including one who was flown to a hospital.
The Coast Guard told all 125 commercial vessels that were helping clean up spilled oil to return to shore. Medical workers evaluated the crew members as a precaution. The National Guard is headed for the Mexican U.S. border.http://www.nationalguard.com/ President Obama in his infinite wisdom or, from reading the Nation’s leading poll’s supporting Arizona’s immigration law( http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll ) is sending troops. It is not so obvious that it is for immigration control, as the Mexican Embassy point out that troops will be on guard against the illegal flows of weapons and bulk cash into Mexico, which provide organized crime with its firepower and its ability to corrupt.

Regarding the Administration’s decision to send 1,200 National Guard servicemen to the US Southern border, the Government of Mexico trusts that this decision will help to channel additional US resources to enhance efforts to prevent the illegal flows of weapons and bulk cash into Mexico, which provide organized crime with its firepower and its ability to corrupt.
Additionally, the Government of Mexico expects that National Guard personnel will strengthen US operations in the fight against transnational organized crime that operates on both sides of our common border and that it will not, in accordance to its legal obligations, conduct activities directly linked to the enforcement of immigration laws.
Mexico is determined to continue working on its side of the border to enhance the security and well-being of border communities, and to deter and dismantle organized crime and its links to drug trafficking and human smuggling.
As part of our joint strategy in the fight against transnational organized crime, there are actions that our two governments have undertaken together, and there are other measures taken independently by Mexico and by the US within their respective territories. In this regard, the Mexican Government fully respects the sovereign decisions of the US Government, but underscores that joint responsibility must continue to underpin our joint efforts in rolling-back transnational organized crime operating on both sides of the border.
As the commander-in-chief, I believe he is supposed to be in charge of the Nation’s Military, not states National Guard troops. Others are of the same opinion:

USARNORTH conducts Homeland Defense and Civil Support operations, and Theater Security Cooperation activities, as the U.S. Northern Command Joint Force Land Component Command and the Army Service Component Command in order to protect the American people and their way of life.
We have U.S. Servicemen and women on active duty on U.S. soil in violation of Posse Comitatus. If we are breaking protocol anyway, why not get it over with and send the military to secure the border with Mexico? “…to protect the American people and their way of life!”

As much as I am against active duty troops on our soil, if they are going to be here, then utilize them here. Don’t wait for another terrorist act to occur. Our borders are being overwhelmed by Mexican people crossing into the greatest country on earth, illegally. We are fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. North Korea and South Korea are playing a deadly game of tit for tat, and China’ aggression towards the U.S. has been pretty clear while it remains our largest debt holder. Oil is spilling by thousand’s of gallons every day.
Obama will travel from Washington to Chicago on Thursday for a long weekend with his family, as planned. Besides the multiple crisis we are battling, this weekend is Memorial Day, the day we honor our nation’s dead military personnel. On Monday, Obama is scheduled to participate in a Memorial Day ceremony at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Ill. Late as usual, we all made it dressed in red, white and blue to our little podunk parade. One of our elected officials also flies C-130’s, so we got a treat of a fly by at maybe 1500 feet overhead. AWESOME.
Just one of thousand’s of parades, but the best part comes at the conclusion. The flag raising, playing of the National Anthem, and the 21 gun salute which sounded more like cap guns still all convince me that there is no greater country than America and how much a privilege it is to live here to be able to attend even a hokey ceremony.
The village mayor and a local Reverend did the speeches honoring all who have served and both reminded us that Memorial Day is about remembrance. President Obama in another major gaffe had this to say- “On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.” Dead people in the crowd, huh?
Noting that Memorial Day is not Veteran’s Day – http://politicalderby.com/2009/05/25/obama-needs-to-google-memorial-day/ had this to say, “Hey, weren’t you the one that was considering a plan to make veterans pay for their medical treatment? At any rate, I find it disheartening that he would lump us all in the category of ‘not paying respect to veterans’ to cover up his own shortcomings in that department. Newsflash Obama-wan: There are many of us who hold the utmost respect for those who have worn the uniform, served, and given his life for the cause of freedom. Many of us already celebrate Memorial Day (not Veteran’s Day) by honoring the brave men and women who have died to protect our freedoms and liberties. And there are many of us who would rather spend federal money on our military than converter boxes for digital television.”

Americans are to observe the National Moment of Remembrance beginning at 3:00 p.m. local time on Memorial Day. I wonder if Janet Napolitano is worried about all those military extremists on this most special of days.
