Giffords shot, Sarah Palin down to 19

Sarah Palin launched a campaign to take back 20 House seats and remove those elected officials who voted for President Obama’s Health Care reform.  Seems innocent enough, unless one of those 20 members she targeted gets shot point blank in the head.  The Palin site is down for now, but a screen shot can be found at http://twitpic.com/3o7u8d. 

TUCSON, Ariz. – Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was shot in the head Saturday when an assailant opened fire outside a grocery store during a meeting with constituents, killing at least five people and wounding several others in a rampage that rattled the nation.

Giffords was among at least 10 people wounded, and the hospital said her outlook was “optimistic” and that she was responding to commands from doctors. The hospital said a 9-year-old child was among the killed, and a U.S. Marshal said a federal judge was also fatally shot in the attack.-http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_congresswoman_shot

What a disgrace.  Apparently, everyday we exist in a charged political environment that is witness to threats against lawmakers.  That is just crap.  It is absolutely abhorrent, unacceptable behavior, no matter ones political affiliation to go out on a random or targeted shooting spree.

“For example, we’re on Sarah Palin’s targeted list, but the thing is, that the way that she has it depicted has the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district. When people do that, they have to realize that there are consequences to that action,” Giffords said in an interview with MSNBC.

Giffords’  friend, State Senator Linda Lopez confirmed the bullet entered Gillords head at her temple and exited through her temple.  Where the fuck were her body gaurds out of curiousity?

Let’s talk about a piece of shit, the suspected shooter.   Jared Loughner is a bizarre case unto himself. One pistol was recovered and it had what police described as “an extended clip.”

The man was identified as Jared Loughner, who appears to have left a trail of Internet postings, including some that express convoluted observations about government. Law enforcement officials said they believed he was a military veteran.

Whatever ones artistic, linguistic or opinionated movies, articles, posts and opinions about the differences in American politics, one is NEVER entitled to go all Hannibal Lecter and go chomping on innocent people.  NEVER.

It was September 23, 2010 when Sarah Palin launched the new website certainly never intending to incite violence.  Meanwhile President Obama claims a ‘Tragedy for Our Entire Country’  at http://bit.ly/hJIwA9.  Whaaaa waaaa to our leader who had time to offer congratulations to Michael Vick but not a dead soldiers family.

Let’s hope that the 19 end up with a nice government pensions and not a shot in the head.  Palin may have wanted to change the vote but never in this manner.

Thanksgiving Thoughts & Prayers Not Just for Turkeys

Ah, the day before Thanksgiving and spirits soar in anticipation of a great meal and celebrations with families.  The weather looks good for travel.  The outdoors have a crisp, clean smell of fall even though I see snowflakes gently cascading down from the heavens, like the heart of winter.   Eventually everyone needs an Obama break, and this holiday is mine to say how thankful I am that we have free elections. 

Former VP candidate, Sarah Palin pardoned one turkey at The Triple D Farms in Wasilla, Alaska named Thanksgiving. http://www.necn.com/Boston/Politics/2008/11/21/Palin-pardons-turkey-names-it/1227291463.html  During her interview other turkeys in the background made there last gobble as they were slaughtered, and the MSM showed her no remorse in it’s coverage of it. Hunters, fishermen, trappers, etc., who understand game functions must be especially amused. Guess what, if you eat meat someone has to slaughter it.  Suck it up already.  BTW the turkey at 30 pounds is being donated to a local church and I’d be it won’t have it’s feathers by the time it gets there.

“You cannot take the heat, and you’re definitely going to stay out of the kitchen,” Bush said to the birds at the 60th annual turkey pardoning at the White House. Named, May and Flower they will be spared from the 165 degree oven heat and fly first class to the more moderate temperatures at Disney World, living in the backyard of Mickey Mouse’s Country House at the Magic Kingdom.

Even though our family isn’t home base for dinner, we will still prepare our own bird with all the trimmings and am grateful it wasn’t me who had to raise, and slaughter it myself.  We raised chickens this spring and summer and took them to slaughter with our children in tow.  With no trauma, my kids understand what it takes to work the land and raise animals.  They do not take food for granted- even Chicken McNuggets have a new meaning.  Those adults who act childish in making fun of Palin, ought to be spanked and get coal in there stockings. 

I stumbled into this blog and its merits are worth repeating on this Thanksgiving Holiday. “…..For He has been good to me.—Psalm 13:6.I have so much, so many good things in my life.  No, not money.  But I am so thankful that without great monetary wealth and riches, I am not hungry, nor cold, nor without clothing to wear.  My heart is full to bursting with love for and from family and friends, who would do anything for me, and I for them.  

I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the piece of land upon which I live.  The same acres my grandfather purchased over a half-century ago, with hard-earned dollars, give me space and room to roam among the pecan trees, the hay meadow, alongside the creek.  I give thanks to our good Father for allowing me to just be here.

I am extremely thankful that God gave me a heart that loves dogs. So many people missed out on this, and I am sorry for them every day.  My dogs are my tangible, earthly, everyday reminder of a God who loves us no matter what.  My dogs are the very embodiment of love and joy in living, and I am a better person because I love them.

I am thankful beyond words that I live in America.  This country is a gift to all of us, despite problems, big and small.  Infinite opportunities abound, and I am thankful for those opportunities available to me and to everyone.

Hitler had one ball- Obama’s Medical Records Remain Closed

While not quite nagging in my mind, it has been revealed that Hilter had only one testicle.  “Hitler’s genitals have long caused controversy. Until now there has never been complete proof Hitler was monorchic – the medical term for having only one testicle.   Got me to wondering if Obama has any balls, seeing as he has refused to release his medical records, birth certificate, college transcripts, etc.. 

The Obama campaign has stated that no medical records will be released. Whatever Obama’s got in his package, he’s definitely got balls to hide so many things from his voting public. 

I assume Sarah Palin has no balls at all- physically speaking, that is.

Obama Wins While Russian Missiles Take Aim

What struck me in the news coverage of The Election, were the tears of joy streaming from Jessie Jackson’s eyes.  In the words of many black voters, the dream has been at least partially realized.

While America celebrated, Russia was busy.  President Dmitry Medvedev sent congratulations via a telegram http://en.rian.ru/world/20081105/118142101.html .  While addressing the Federal Assemble Medvedev said, “We have no problems with the American nation, we have no inbred anti-Americanism. We hope our partners, the new United States administration, will make a choice in favor of full-fledged relations with Russia,”  Simultaneously he issued a direct threat with an announcement that he would deploy Iskander missiles to Russia’s Kaliningrad region, as a military response to U.S. plans to deploy missile-defense facilities in Poland and the Czech Republic, former Soviet satellites that are now NATO members.  He did not say if they would have nuclear warheads.  http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122588962209001415.html and updated at http://www.air-attack.com/news/news_article/3422.

Obama has promised to cut US defense spending and demilitarize while Russia is modernizing it’s fleet of missiles.  https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2008/10/22/obama-demilitarizes-while-russia-modernizes-missiles/  Only last Friday, A ground-based missile successfully intercepted a target missile in a test of the nation’s defense system. http://www.mda.mil/mdalink/html/mdalink.html An intercontinental ballistic missile interceptor blasted out of an underground silo at Vandenberg Air Force Base shortly after 1:15 p.m., and tracked a target missile that had lifted off from the Kodiak Launch Complex in Alaska. Russia is not alone in the quest for missile leadership. http://missilethreat.com/missilesoftheworld/ Accuracy of missiles like the Al Hussein, Project 1728, Al Hijara a Road Mobile SRBM- is such that it can only be effectively used against extremely large targets, as it can land as far as two miles away from the intended target. As such, it is useful to strike population centers, large military staging areas and oil fields, but little else.

In Iran, with whom Obama has pledged to sit down with no preconditions, the The Shahab-3 is a medium-range, liquid-propellant, road-mobile ballistic missile.  Nuclear, HE, chemical, or sub munitions, it is ready and operational in Iran.   Its range is sufficient to target Israel, Turkey, the Indian subcontinent, and US forces stationed in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Persian Gulf. The missile’s low accuracy means the missile would probably only be usable to attack civilian populations and has no military application other than simply holding enemy populations hostage.

Joe Biden and Joe The Plumber can agree on one thing.  President Obama will be, and is being tested even before his inauguration.

Obama Citizenship Case Dismissed

The audacity of Obama’s eligibility!  Is Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama eligible for President, or not?  Critics and adversaries have spent a lot of time and money raising doubt and spreading rumors that Obama is not a citizen.  In Obama’s refusal to provide proof and only file motions to dismiss, he is beginning to alert the questioning, rational, voting public into making a rational conclusion and judgment that perhaps he has something to hide after all.

The case of Berg vs Obama was seeking to clarify in Federal Court, Obama’s citizenship status.  Berg vs Omama was filed the case over two months ago, taking more than 60 days to reach an opinion of the court. Judge Surrick has dismissed the lawsuit.  In a 34 page memorandum and opinion, the judge said “Berg’s allegations of harm were “too vague and attenuated to confer standing on him or any other voters.”  In pursuing the claims that Obama was not a natural-born citizen they were, ” frivolous and not worth of discussion.” In addition, that Berg’s arguments to the contrary, “ventured into the unreasonable.”

How is unreasonable to seek out through the court, the determination of qualifications to achieve The Office of President of The United States of America?  Berg listed a total of 56 questions that were by some accounts, a stretch into an abyss of technicalities and accusations, but the simple request of requiring Obama to present a certified birth certificate and not a certificate of live birth has been denied not only to Berg but to all Americans seeking truth and justice in a marred political and judicial system. Berg only last week sought an ORDER ON PLAINTIFF’S MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT     http://obamacrimes.com/attachments/041_Obama,%20Plaintiff/’s%20Motion%20for%20Summary%20Judgment%20against%20Obama%20and%20the%20DNC.pdf.  Berg’s attempted to require the court to cite Rule 56 of civil proceedings {From the Legal Information Institute http://www.law.cornell.edu/rules/frcp/Rule56.htm } in that since Obama failed to deny the accuracy, it is” (2) Opposing Party’s Obligation to Respond. When a motion for summary judgment is properly made and supported, an opposing party may not rely merely on allegations or denials in its own pleading; rather, its response must — by affidavits or as otherwise provided in this rule — set out specific facts showing a genuine issue for trial. Only that there is no credible evidence that it’s fake.  His campaign has a burden of proving otherwise, and they have failed to do so and will not be required to instead filing motions for dismissal rather than providing proof.

Obama Demilitarizes While Russia Modernizes Missiles

MOSCOW (AP) Oct 22-2008– Russia’s efforts to upgrade its missile arsenals will help counter the planned U.S. missile defense sites in Europe, a top general said Wednesday.  Russia’s Strategic Missile Force chief, Col.-Gen. Nikolai Solovtsov, said the military will commission a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile and modify the existing missiles. Russia has denounced a U.S. plan to deploy a battery of 10 missile interceptors in Poland and a related missile defense radar in the Czech Republic, saying it threatened Russian security. The Federal Election Commission Friday[9-8-08] approved payment of $84.1 million in federal funds for the general election campaign of John McCain and Sarah Palin…. In that letter the candidates agreed to abide by the overall spending limit (there are no state-by-state limits) and to other legal requirements, including a post-campaign audit.  Presidential candidates accepting the federal payment are subject to a spending limit of $84.1 million, the amount of the payment, plus a combined personal spending limit of $50,000 from their personal funds.Additional funds may be raised, subject to the limits and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act, for legal and accounting expenses. http://www.fec.gov/press/press2008/20080908cert.shtml

Obama opted out and has significantly received more donations than McCain.  I wonder, if in part, the reason he chose not to accept federal funds was to avoid some of the legal requirements and possibly to avoid an audit.

Getting back to Isaacson -CNN, the network he headed during the Iraq War coverage, he is quoted as saying, “Walter Isaacson, who headed CNN, observes, “The people at Knight Ridder were calling the colonels and the lieutenants and the people in the CIA and finding out, you know, that the intelligence is not very good. We should’ve all been doing that.” If Issacson knew there was some questionable intelligence CNN didn’t report it or question it- Did they?

Why is the contribution to John McCain by William E. Mayer shown as being returned?  It is because he is linked to tightly with the liberal Aspen Institute and was pressured into doing so?  Did William E. Mayer violate campaign laws?  Did he over extend himself and the checks bounced?  Did McCain stamp the envelope with return to sender?

On the Board of Directors at The Aspen we find some notable names like, Henry E. Catto, Madeleine K. Albright, and Leonard A. Lauder.  What brand of Lipstick does Sarah Palin wear? Whittemore Morgan Stanley, Sidney Harman of Harmon Ind., but the name that really caught my eye besides well known Henry A. Kissinger, being Chairman of Kissinger Associates, Inc.,  was Prince Bandar bin Sultan-Former Saudi Ambassador to the United States.

Interestedly enough, Prince Bandar bin Sultan has a home larger that The White House, in where?  You guessed it, Aspen, Colorado, USA. Called The Halla Ranch http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandar_bin_Sultan  http://www.christiesgreatestates.com   has it listed for sale.  Since 9-11, Prince Bandar bin Sultan no longer visits as often.  The Halla Ranch home has 15 bedrooms, but in his defense he has 8 children, so I can actually see that for such an honored dignitary.

McCain wants to know where Obama’s money is coming from and so do I.  We know all about William Budinger donation but “There’s $200 million of those campaign contributions – there’s no record. They’re not reported. You can report online now, $200 million, that we don’t know where the money came from. A lot of strange things going on in this campaign,” McCain said. “The American people should know where every penny came from. Wierd thing is, that in all thisconspiracy jumbo, that both John Hinckley and Mark David Chapman were each carrying on their person a paperback copy of the JD Salinger novel, Catcher in the Rye.  Reportedly,  Salinger had ties to the US intelligence community, especially the CIA.

I never read the book and don’t know much except, today was his birthday and John Lennon is dead.
