North Korea Fires FOUR Missiles Against UN Sanctions

North Korea has just launched a fourth missile. The ballistic missiles were believed to be Scud-B missiles with a range of 340 km or Rodong rockets, whose 1,300-km range was likely to be shortened to 400 km for the upcoming tests.http://www.prokerala.com/news/articles/a62150.html 

Originally it was reported that North Korea test-fired a third short-range missile on Thursday, a South Korean defense ministry spokesman said.  The spokesman said the missile was launched around 7:50 p.m. (1050 GMT) but gave no further details. Earlier the ministry said the North had fired two surface-to-ship missiles between 5:20 p.m. (0820 GMT) and 6 p.m. from its east coast. http://www.reuters.com/article/worldNews/idUSSP33752020090702  North Korea had cautioned commercial vessels to stay away from its eastern coast and the Sea of Japan through July 10th, allowing it to launch short- and medium-range missiles with no warning and it continues to do so. 

North Korea threatened that a long range missile launch was set and aimed for Hawaii in time for the 4th of July according to Japan’s top-selling newspaper, the Yomiuri.   But CNN says, “A U.S. intelligence official confirmed the test firings and said there are “no indications whatsoever” of an impending long-range missile test.http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/07/02/nkorea.missiles/ 

In mid June, Marine Corps General James Cartwright- vice chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff claimed North Korea would need at least least three to five years to develop a missile that can reach the U.S. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aOrc17s0Mz7g   Then again, no one thought North Korea capable of another nuclear test either.  Is it okay that North Korea already has the capacity to launch a nuclear missile strike against Seoul and Tokyo with the potential to kill millions of people in Japan, as well as in the South, in addition to blowing to smithereens US bases and airfields in both countries?

According to the Brussels-based International Crisis Group ICG, it “argues that the true danger lies with shorter-range weapons, some of which are mobile and therefore difficult to detect. They include variants of the Scud, which could strike South Korea, and the Nodong which could reach much of Japan. Pyongyang also has a short-range tactical weapon called the Toksa or Viper, which is highly accurate up to 120km. As a reminder to North Korea of America’s long range capability on Monday, The Air Force launched an unarmed Minuteman 3 intercontinental ballistic missiles from California’s Vandenberg Air Force Base that landed 4,200 miles away near the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.  North Koreans have threatened to “shower the US with a nuclear fire” if “attacked” see http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jun/25/north-korea-nuclear-threat  Would America be negligent to not hit North Korea’s launch pads in a preliminary strike?  ABM or Anti-Ballistic Missile technology has been know to have high failure rate so taking a chance with what might be a nuclear warhead weapon seems pretty stupid.

The National Air and Space Intelligence Center,NASIC- hq’d at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the primary Department of Defense producer of foreign aerospace intelligence http://www.afisr.af.mil/units/nasic.asp but has not issued a statement. The F.E.Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming  http://www.warren.af.mil/units/base  became the nation’s first operational ICBM base with the introduction of the Atlas missile in 1958.  The Mighty Ninety operates 150 Minuteman III ICBMs on full alert 24 hours a day, 365 days a year if North Korea or anyone else should launch toward U.S. Soil or its territories.

Considering the cost of an ICBM and America’s past support of energy aid that has most likely funded nuclear technology instead, there needs to be an immediate cease and desist for any funds from all countries to North Korea.  I feel for the starving, but they need stop shooting missiles and testing nukes.   One commentator http://www.strategypage.com/militaryforums/22-208.aspx estimated the ICBM costs this way, ”

5 billion $ for R&D cost without nukes.Multiply by three with basic research and nukes R&D for a country with modern high level diversified civilian industry. Then a 3 nuclear warhead ICBM would cost 50 m$ to procure for a twenty year service life plus price of a silo or mobile launching ramp (add 15 m$ at least) plus 3 m$ a year minimum to maintain and closely to a minimum 4 adding salaries of soldiers to maintain it. In twenty years for a 60 ICBM force it would be 1,2 billion $ a year.This is a little more to the less than 1 billion $ supposed Israelis spending for a 200 nukes and IRBM. This is based on French and US prices. French spend 2,6 to 3 billion $ a year today after reduction of their nuclear arsenal to procure a 4SSBN and 48 SLBM with 288 warheads plus a hundred air launch supersonic counter force 300 kt missiles.
 

If North Korea has money for nukes, missiles, and weapons certainly it doesn’t need anyone else’s money.  Adm. Does the Obama Administration have necessary intelligence to keep our country safe from attack?

The 4th of July’s fireworks in the U.S. could prove to be consequential for our military, world affairs, and life as we know it.  North Korea has warned that it anticipates firing another test missile, this one aimed toward the Hawaiian Islands.

Amazingly, President Obama made the decision to fire an an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile configured with a National Nuclear Security Administration test assembly, launched from North Vandenberg yesterday-o6.29.09 at 3:01 a.m. http://www.vandenberg.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123156457  It launched from the California coast to an area in the Pacific Ocean some 4,200 miles away.

Prior to the launch of the missile that certainly provides proof that North Korea is well with in our range, NK “criticized the U.S. on Monday for positioning missile defense systems around Hawaii, calling the deployment part of a plot to attack the regime and saying it would bolster its nuclear arsenal in retaliation.” and ” “Through the U.S. forces’ clamorous movements, it has been brought to light that the U.S. attempt to launch a pre-emptive strike  (emphasis mine) on our republic has become a brutal fact,” the North’s main Rodong Sinmun newspaper said .  http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/29/AR2009062900307_pf.html

If North Korea was pissed that Defense Secretary Robert Gates ordered the deployment of a ground-based, mobile missile intercept system and radar system to Hawaii before the ICBM launch, imagine what they are thinking now?  America and Obama are about to find our who are friends are in the United Nations and New World Order having tested this missile. 

North Korea has repeatedly fired short and long range missiles, detonated nuclear bombs, threatened to nuke it’s neighbors, announces it’s going to launch a missile aimed for Hawaii and believes we should not defend ourselves.  That America is launching a pre-emptive strike?  By launching missiles from Vandenberg, is America the one’s providing the pre-emptive strike?  Kudos to Obama or has he lost his marbles?  Could he really not care if Hawaii and his original birth certificate gets blown up?

Both Obama and Barney Frank continue to seek a reduction in military spending while we fight: the war on drugs, the war on terror, the war in Afghanistan, the war on immigration, the war for socialism, etc..

Our military budget is not so defunct that  our government couldn’t provide about 40 tons of weapons and ammunition to Somalia’s embattled government in the past six weeks to help it fight Islamist insurgents(Reuters).  Not liking that one bit, “A spokesman for radical Islamic insurgents says his group will seize weapons the U.S. has supplied to Somalia’s embattled government.” (AP)  With props to http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2009/06/29/small-arms-shipped-to-somalia/#comment-11480  Oh the Pirates of Somalia must be drunk with joy.

Why not just drop million of  dollars over the war zones and give everyone an equal chance to steal from America for all the good sending weapons there will do?   How many times in U.S. history have we financed and trained foreign armies only to have them retaliate and fire back at U.S. soldiers?

Legalizing Marijuana & Opium in The New World Order

Just when I think American economists and politicians have the slightest clue about the most basic facts of world affairs, international trade, or the nature of money, I am reminded yet again of the hypocrisy of this financial and social abyss toward which America is heading in the pecking order of the New World Order.

The U.S. government owns the banks and the car industry.  It sets the rules, makes them up as it goes along and has control over the money supply.  It apparently has no oversight as the Fed in May tap danced around the missing  NINE TRILLION DOLLARS that we could sure use about now. 

Say nothing of main stream media whose focus on the deaths of Michael Jackson is a slap in the face. Icon, perhaps but a role model-hardly. What about all the dead soldiers from U.S. Wars and the one’s breathing  in over 130 foreign countries?  No views of them in the nightly news.

No worries though, Congressman Barney Frank (D-MA), Chairman of the Financial Services Committee, introduced legislation decriminalizing marijuana at the federal level again. If passed, the legislation would eliminate criminal penalties for possessing 100 grams or less of marijuana for personal use.  Not to be outdone, San Francisco Assemblyman Tom Ammiano announced the introduction of a bill to tax and regulate marijuana like alcohol in the state of California.  Yippee,  another government owned industry!  Obama just signed a huge tax increase on tobacco, I can only image the tax on a joint.

“The Ammiano legislation would create a regulatory structure for that market similar to that for beer, wine and liquor: it would regulate taxed sales to adults while barring sales to or possession by those under 21. Maybe the U.S. Government can subsidizes pot growers like it does cotton, corn, soybean and other farming industries with my tax dollars.  Maybe we can trade it on the commodities exchange and all the traders can get a little profit too.  I wonder what currency it will trade-  USD, Amero, Acmetal, Euro…? 

The rest of the world is focusing on a new reserve currency in the New World Order and we focus on legalizing pot and subsidizing farmers in Afghanistan. As of the 111th Congress, Frank is also advocating a 25 percent reduction in the overall Military budget of the United States.

The Huffington Post http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/27/us-announces-shift-in-afg_n_221826.html says that “The United States has announced a new drug policy for opium-rich Afghanistan, saying it was phasing out funding for eradication programs while significantly increasing its funding for alternate crop and drug interdiction efforts. The War on drugs in the U.S has thousands in prison for drugs with our failing policies here, and we are expected to believe that sending millions there will be a deterrent?  I still have that little island in the desert for sale if anyone is interested.

Last week when leaders of the so-called BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, India and China) held their first summit.  The BRIC countries comprise 15 per cent of the world economy, 40 per cent of global currency reserves and half the world’s population.  The governments of BRIC and must be laughing like they were smoking marijuana and injecting heroin at America.  Our elected officials focus on legalizing pot rather than be bothered with the cumbersome announcement from Russian President Dmitri Medvedev that the U.S dollar is on notice.

“The artificially maintained unipolar system”, he lectured, is based on “one big centre of consumption, financed by a growing deficit and … one formerly strong reserve currency.” At the root of the global financial crisis, he concluded, is that the US makes too little and spends too much.   “The summit must create the conditions for a fairer world order.” …The BRICs have put the US dollar on notice, and are already finding alternatives as a means of clearing accounts. Medvedev called for the IMF to include the Russian ruble and the Chinese yuan in the basket of currencies used to value its financial products. But that is just for starters. Audit The Federal Reserve – Trillions Missing, America Bankrupt

Auditing The Federal Reserve is long overdue.  http://www.federalreserve.gov/oig/oig_bio.htm Elizabeth Coleman as the inspector general of the Federal Reserve of the United States and is supposed to be responsible for preventing and detecting waste, fraud, and abuse, but in a videotaped Congressional testimony, she acknowledged that she can’t account for many trillions of dollars of our taxpayers money. TRILLIONS.   Specifically she says she knows nothing about nine trillion dollars ($9,000,000,000,000) that is claimed to be unaccounted for.

In an effort to find trillions of dollars we turn to The Federal Reserve Transparency Act, “To amend title 31, United States Code, to reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States and the manner in which such audits are reported, and for other purposes. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-1207 .  By my account it must have taken several years to misplace so much money, so any deceit has been going on for years.

We need to bring accountability to the Federal Reserve now before Obama and anyone else in government spends one more dime.  Have these people been tripping over quarters to pick up pennies for so long to be so ignorant and incompetent or it it just the little old taxpayer who continues to deny we are in a financial meltdown?

Crude Oil prices are up and the value of the U.S. dollar is down while our duly elected President Barack Hussein Obama is meddling yet again with free markets, furtherer eroding world confidence in the dollar and bringing our entire economic and political system another step toward socialism.  He is putting other nations in the position to ignore the U.S. dollar as the leader in world currency as, ” China and Russia have agreed to use each other’s currencies and eliminate the use of dollars in their trade,” according to  WWW.EVERBANK.COM blog, A Pfenning for Your Thoughts.

President Obama yesterday said…” we will dismantle the Office of Thrift Supervision and close loopholes that have allowed important institutions to cherry-pick among banking rules. We will offer only one federal banking charter, regulated by a strengthened federal supervisor. Noam Chomsky, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noam_Chomsky is critical of the American capitalist system and big business, he describes himself as a libertarian socialist who sympathizes with anarcho-syndicalism -a potential force for revolutionary social change.  Like, The Change You Can believe in?

Chomsky said, “I think it only makes sense to seek out and identify structures of authority, hierarchy, and domination in every aspect of life, and to challenge them; unless a justification for them can be given, they are illegitimate, and should be dismantled, to increase the scope of human freedom.” 

The pattern for the Obama manipulation banking game is disheartening to say the least.  The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation- FDIC, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency- OCC, and OTS are all a part of the supervisory and regulatory framework of the banking industry.  Closing the Office of Thrift Supervision is more than likely going to result in the closing of more Savings and Loan Institutions through default, bankruptcy or government bailout.  There are existing laws an the books that had they been enforced, would not have allowed the “cherry picking” among banking rules and may have reduced this financial fiasco America and the world has gotten itself into. 
 
Offering further proof of another American Fiasco comes from NEW YORK (Dow Jones) via http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20090616-714654.html–The dollar declined Tuesday as major emerging market nations urged more diversity in the global currency system, another sign that big investors are growing restless with the greenback’s dominance. Brazil, Russia, India and China, collectively known as the BRIC nations, said after a meeting Tuesday that “it is very necessary to have a stable, predictable and more diversified currency system.”

Two years ago Jerome Corsi reported that the director of international economics at the Council on Foreign Relations has launched a scathing attack on sovereignty and national currencies.  Benn Steil, writing in the current (now past)  issue of CFR’s influential Foreign Affairs magazine, says “the world needs to abandon unwanted currencies, replacing them with dollars, euros, and multinational currencies as yet unborn.” http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=55595  Looks like BRIC agrees.

All conspiracy aside, has the time come when are we saying goodbye to the dollar; hello to the New World Order, a One-World-Government, and loss of American dominance?

Obama’s Health Care Reform Bill Goes on Tour

President Obama is scheduled to return to the United Sinking States of America sometime today after yet another standing room only rock star tour.   In six days, he traveled to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Germany and France.  He delivered the kind eloquent speeches that GW could nary do, not fumbling a word; but filled with contextual imperfections that leave many nations reading between the lines as to his intentions.  In reviewing Obama’s quotes from the tour, Firedog Lake asks, “Is it me, or is awaiting Obama’s follow-through a bit like standing in front of a slot machine wondering if a payoff will actually come.” http://oxdown.firedoglake.com/diary/5644

Obama will be begin his next tour with his political group Organizing for America with his return to the United Sinking States of America today.  This  public relations tour looks to again remove the rights of individual states and citizens, and increase reliance on the federal government.

In conquering the banking and auto industry, the health care industry is next on the socialistic agenda. A record $546,668, to be exact. That cheery Monday stat comes courtesy of a USA Today study, which claims that each American family’s share rose 12% in 2008. That’s $55,000 in new government debt last year for every US household – thousands more than the median household annual income. ”  Add in the bailouts of 2009 and if health care is expensive now, just wait until we see the ticket price when the government takes over. 

The ticket cost for freedom is priceless.  The ticket price for the Obama Administration plan to change the world and America’s health care; to be determined later, in full transparency of course.

Obama Restructuring Initiative for GM Bankruptcy

You have to hand it to Obama to never miss an opportunity to get in front of a teleprompter.  General Motors in filing bankruptcy today will officially become Government Motors.  President Obama will hold an 11:30 a.m. event to discuss it even though last night the White House released this fact sheet fact sheet (.doc file) also available at http://www.autonews.com/assets/DOC/CA61689531.DOC.  Thank God it is not during Prime Time TV.

His blathering and this document lay out the Obama Administrations details of its plan for General Motors to help it emerge from restructuring quickly.  The automaker will get $30.1 billion of additional taxpayer money to restructure a smaller-company- a New GM and in return the Treasury Department has the right to appoint the initial directors.  Another $9.5 billion will come from Canada.

“In addition, the U.S. Treasury’s ability to prevent any change in control of us could also have an adverse effect on the market price of our common stock. GM was world’s largest automaker for years.  It has been a technological marvel pushing the limits of technology, and marketing the fact that it’s brands were a mark of status.  Quality suffered over the years giving the Japanese auto giant, Toyota Motor Corp., the perfect opportunity to win the trophy as the world’s largest automaker, but it too has been beaten down by a sagging economy and credit crisis.  On May 8, 2009, Toyota reported a record annual net loss of $4.4 billion. Obama “We’re Out Of Money” Recipe for Disaster

SCULLY: You know the numbers, $1.7 trillion debt, a national deficit of $11 trillion. At what point do we run out of money?

OBAMA: Well, we are out of money now. We are operating in deep deficits, not caused by any decisions we’ve made on health care so far. This is a consequence of the crisis that we’ve seen and in fact our failure to make some good decisions on health care over the last several decades.

This Memorial Day our recipe books are filled with the delights we will be making to share with family and friends.  President Obama’s recipes are filled with disaster for not only America but the New World Order he continues to guide us toward.  The government’s intrusion in the private sector is an abysmal display of capitalism.  Wanting government solutions to just about everything are breaking the backs of the few who still have jobs.  Rather than pull back the entitlements he talks about so often, Obama instantly turns to pushing for none other than, health care.

His recipe is making me sick to my stomach.

Further in the interview regarding The Supreme Court; William Howard Taft served on the court after his presidency, would you have any interest in being on the Supreme Court?

OBAMA: You know, I am not sure that I could get through Senate confirmation.

Almost laughable, except the joke is at the expense of all Americans.  As President he has never provided a verified authentic birth certificate.  Surely at some point in the confirmation process he would be asked to show it, along with his college transcripts, medical records,etc. I doubt he could get a security clearance to get through the halls of justice.

Obama Challenged Over Gitmo by RNC & DNC

Not only are the Republicans tired of the Barack-Star phenomenon, the Democrats are coming out of their comas to put halt on his ruinous ideologies.

Michael Steele head of the Republican National Committee had this to say,  “The era of apologizing for Republican mistakes of the past is now officially over,”  “The second turning point for our party is this. We are going to take the president head-on. As the RNC leader, these thoughts should have been among his first statements- on his first day on the job.  Now Steele is whining that he wants more control over how money is spent, telling Fox News that part of his job is to “manage the money” and suggested that if committee members strip him of that authority he’ll step aside. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/05/19/steele-threatens-quit-rnc-undermines-funding-authority/  I’d say don’t let the door hit him in the ass, but who would take his place?  The RNC couldn’t pay Rush Limbaugh enough, unless of course he’d do it for a $1.

On Wednesday, RNC state chairmen will vote on the funding issue, among others — such as whether to label the Democratic Party “Socialist.”  Joe The Plumber said it for us all; no need to make it official. 

The two party system elected, ” That One,” and we all have to deal with his acts as President.  While we are no where near the end of the tunnel of Obama’s reign, the Democrats it would seem are going to give him a little run for his money.  At least a few Democratic elected officials are seeing Obama’s dreams can easily be turned into nightmares.

Obama’s first act as President was signing  the Executive Order mandating that the terrorist detention facility at Guantanamo Bay be closed in one year.  With four months gone Obama still insists that he will close the state of the art detention facility on time but still has no plan on what to do with detainees.

“We’ll wipe out all the money,” Inouye said, “And I’ll put in a provision that says none of the funds in this bill or any other bill can be used to pay for the transfer of detainees from Guantanamo to the United States.”

“Obama hasn’t done us any favors on this,” said one Democratic leadership aide. “He’s a little of this, a little of that. The Republicans have one compelling message.”  Perhaps the message from all the tea  parties across the nation are finally getting through to the Senate.  A little of this, and a little of that, is eroding American capitalism.

If nothing else this serves as a warning to Obama that being President is not like being the American Idol winner.  He may have won the vote but the public is fickle.  Americans, rich or poor are tired of spending money on pork and projects that have no plan.  Finally someone in the Senate had enough balls to say the same.

Obama O’s Cereal – General Mills and Cheerios gains FDA Approval

Reacting quickly, Cheerios- the best-selling cereal in the world, is taking advantage of the Obama administration’ s admonishment.  General Mills will be issuing a new cereal to be named Obama O’s, of course -in specially marked boxes.  In compliance with the FDA,  OBama O’s will have absolutely no health claims.  

Obama O’s cereal will be made with Stevia.   In marketing the new sugar, this new sweetener is derived from the leaf of an herb called Stevia.  Consumer demand for so called natural products continues to grow, even in this mind boggling deficit and season of bailouts.  The sugar alternative is also known as Truvia and PureVia.

Cheerios and OBama O’s couldn’t have bought the kind of advertising and commentary it is receiving after the FDA sent a letter to General Mills Inc.  The letter scolded the company for violations and gave it 15 days to change the claims that the iconic ‘Os’ may lower cholesterol and help to treat heart disease.

With Obama slipping a bit in the polls, his advisor’s felt this the right time to allow the release of OBama O’s to the nation.  The O’s in the New OBama O’s cereal will be dyed red, white and blue.  The dye will be similar to the renewable, vegetable-based inks that was used for coloring easter eggs on the White House Lawn.  Those toasted O’ s will remain their crunchy texture unless the milk come from injected rBGH- growth hormone cows. The FDA fast tracked its approval at the President’s request. 

Plans are in the works for OBama O’s to correspond to the ad campaign for the Olympic Rings. ““The Obama White House is playing an unprecedented role in the bid to bring the 2016 Summer Olympics to Chicago, with top adviser Valerie Jarrett spearheading an effort that draws on the international symbolism of his presidency,” Politico writes, adding that “the emerging effort by the White House is unusually pointed in its attempt to wrap the campaign around the president and his appealing image abroad.”

While no one has ever seen President Obama’s birth certificate or medical records, by all accounts he appears fit enough to bow down to kings and most certainly presentable as setting a fine example of the American judicial and political system.   General Mills approached President Obama to lend his endorsement in lieu of a court injunction and or product seizure.  Obama O’s will be served at all state events. 
 
Obama previously said, “Why can’t I just eat my waffle?” –after being asked a foreign policy question by a reporter while visiting a diner in Pennsylvania.  Press Secretary Gibbs today, noted that in keeping with a great American Tradition, food products today aren’t as  healthy as its packaging leads shoppers to believe.
