The wing (nuts) of the UN- The United Nations Conference for Trade and Development, UNCTAD have released a report calling for the elimination of the dollar. The Telegraph summed it up:

In essence, the report calls for a new Bretton Woods-style system of managed international exchange rates, meaning central banks would be forced to intervene and either support or push down their currencies depending on how the rest of the world economy is behaving.

“Replacing the dollar with an artificial currency would solve some of the problems related to the potential of countries running large deficits and would help stability,” said Detlef Kotte, one of the report’s authors. “But you will also need a system of managed exchange rates. Countries should keep real exchange rates [adjusted for inflation] stable. Central banks would have to intervene and if not they would have to be told to do so by a multilateral institution such as the International Monetary Fund.”

p. 12 [The SCHEME] Whatever form an enhanced scheme of SDR allocation may take, it will only be acceptable to all countries if the terms on which SDRs can be used as international liquidity are absolutely clear-cut, particularly the parity of the SDR vis-à-vis all national currencies. The Bretton Woods system and the European Monetary System provide precedents for what could be an appropriate solution for determining exchange rates within a multilateral framework. In these systems the implicit rule was that the exchange rate of a national currency with the international currency was determined by the purchasing power of that currency expressed in all other currencies.

Straightforward and simple- To define the scheme, the dollar is going to be worthless or worth less upon the acceptance of a new global currency. The financial system that thrives on currency trading would do so no more. So much for economics of growth in America! NAFTA and GATT were the first steps to the “giant sucking sounds” quoting, Ross Perot who stood firmly that NAFTA would cause U.S. jobs to go south, and manufacturing east to china.

China’s reserves are now more than – $2 trillion, the world’s largest. Cheng Siwei now head of China’s green energy drive said referencing the US, “If they keep printing money to buy bonds it will lead to inflation, and after a year or two the dollar will fall hard. China, Germany, the U.N. and others previously called for a new “international reserve currency”, lessening a dependence of the dollar and U.S. economy. Timothy Geithner’s response? He is ”quite open” to the suggestion to remove the greenback. A$$hole- can’t even file his own taxes correctly.

The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) exists in part, as a perfect way to introduce a regional currency called the Amero and regional cooperation between the U.S. Canada and Mexico. www.spp.gov This is just another step at eliminating sovereignty making the transition to a world currency more easily acceptable. North Korea has just launched a fourth missile. The ballistic missiles were believed to be Scud-B missiles with a range of 340 km or Rodong rockets, whose 1,300-km range was likely to be shortened to 400 km for the upcoming tests.http://www.prokerala.com/news/articles/a62150.html

Originally it was reported that North Korea test-fired a third short-range missile on Thursday, a South Korean defense ministry spokesman said. The spokesman said the missile was launched around 7:50 p.m. (1050 GMT) but gave no further details. North Korea threatened that a long range missile launch was set and aimed for Hawaii in time for the 4th of July according to Japan’s top-selling newspaper, the Yomiuri. In mid June, Marine Corps General James Cartwright- vice chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff claimed North Korea would need at least least three to five years to develop a missile that can reach the U.S. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=aOrc17s0Mz7g Then again, no one thought North Korea capable of another nuclear test either. Is it okay that North Korea already has the capacity to launch a nuclear missile strike against Seoul and Tokyo with the potential to kill millions of people in Japan, as well as in the South, in addition to blowing to smithereens US bases and airfields in both countries?

According to the Brussels-based International Crisis Group ICG, it “argues that the true danger lies with shorter-range weapons, some of which are mobile and therefore difficult to detect. They include variants of the Scud, which could strike South Korea, and the Nodong which could reach much of Japan. Pyongyang also has a short-range tactical weapon called the Toksa or Viper, which is highly accurate up to 120km. As a reminder to North Korea of America’s long range capability on Monday, The Air Force launched an unarmed Minuteman 3 intercontinental ballistic missiles from California’s Vandenberg Air Force Base that landed 4,200 miles away near the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. United Nations Security Council resolution approved on June 12 that imposes penalties on the regime for previous nuclear tests and launches. Considering the cost of an ICBM and America’s past support of energy aid that has most likely funded nuclear technology instead, there needs to be an immediate cease and desist for any funds from all countries to North Korea. 5 billion $ for R&D cost without nukes.Multiply by three with basic research and nukes R&D for a country with modern high level diversified civilian industry. Then a 3 nuclear warhead ICBM would cost 50 m$ to procure for a twenty year service life plus price of a silo or mobile launching ramp (add 15 m$ at least) plus 3 m$ a year minimum to maintain and closely to a minimum 4 adding salaries of soldiers to maintain it. In twenty years for a 60 ICBM force it would be 1,2 billion $ a year.This is a little more to the less than 1 billion $ supposed Israelis spending for a 200 nukes and IRBM. This is based on French and US prices. French spend 2,6 to 3 billion $ a year today after reduction of their nuclear arsenal to procure a 4SSBN and 48 SLBM with 288 warheads plus a hundred air launch supersonic counter force 300 kt missiles.

If North Korea has money for nukes, missiles, and weapons certainly it doesn’t need anyone else’s money. Adm. It might be ominous. It sure as crap shouldn’t reflect the end of the U.S. economy or the U.S. Dollar, but it might reflect the New World Order.

China who holds upwards of $US 740 billion in U.S. Treasury securities had a big flipping epiphany yesterday, proposing replacing the US dollar as the international reserve currency with a new global system controlled by the International Monetary Fund. The People’s Bank of China’s website, Zhou Xiaochuan, the central bank’s governor, said the goal would be to create a reserve currency “that is disconnected from individual nations and is able to remain stable in the long run, thus removing the inherent deficiencies caused by using credit-based national currencies”.

DISCONNECTED FROM INDIVIDUAL NATIONS? The creation of a new currency to eventually replace the dollar as the world’s standard is a slap directly to Obama and all of America. The “inherent difference” here is that America is not Communist. China was all worried about protectionism in the bailout plans and threw a hissy fit that would limit its imports here. They repay us by encouraging the world to disconnect from the dollar!

The People’s Bank of China is not for it’s people, it is self serving and government controlled. It might sound familiar with the U.S. government now owning AIG and banks, but so far we still have a relatively free economy based on capitalism.

China is not alone in wanting to move away from the dollar. On March 25 the U.N. Commission of Experts on International Financial Reform recommend that the world ditch the dollar as its reserve currency in favor of a shared basket of currencies. [source: https://www.everbank.com/.] Russia started the whole eliminate the dollar bandwagon, saying “The International Monetary Fund should investigate the possible creation of a new reserve currency, widening the list of reserve currencies or using its already existing Special Drawing Rights, or SDRs, as a ‘super reserve currency accepted by the whole of the international community,’ the Kremlin said in a statement issued on its web site,” reported the Moscow Times. The Kremlin said it will propose the IMF-based currency at April’s G20 meeting in London.

While Washington is using inflation to “monetize” away huge debts, China, Russia and the United Nations have found a perfect opportunity to encourage a One World Money. The Amero will only be the first step, we’ll have the WOMO- World Money or maybe the IMO- International Money. No matter what you call it, it leads to the New World Order. Financial freedom is the backdrop of population control and societal control. He who has the money has the power. If the government has it, the individual is shit out a luck.

Angela Merkel is the chancellor of Germany and Jan Peter Balkenende is the prime minister of the Netherlands together wrote that “The idea of a Global Charter for Sustainable Economic Activity, aimed at developing a single framework relying on the unfolding of market forces but striving to ensure a stable, socially balanced and sustainable development of the global economy. Further spewing One World demagoguery, “This crisis shows that some fears about untamed globalization are not unjustified. But it also proves that in today’s world there is no alternative to globalization as a motor for growth and employment, thus fostering prosperity worldwide. So our goal must be a market driven and social world economy that is balanced, equitable and sustainable. Blah, blah, blah, the attitude of the African melody “Kum Ba Ya,” where the lyrics say someone is crying, singing and praying couldn’t be more true. It is the hearts of the religious faithful that are becoming more dismissive of both The Pope and Obama. The translation of “Kum Ba Ya” means come by here, but more and more we see people turning from God and religion. We have until the election of 2012 to see people turn from Obama, but it’s already begun.

The Pope is speaking in Africa, understandably in opposition to the use of condoms to stop the spread of AIDS. While it is unrealistic and dangerous, it is within the church’s teachings to promote sex in the sanctity of marriage. Surely The Pope realize over 25 million people have AIDS and are born with it, but he has not wavered in the church teachings. Obama at the other end of the spectrum almost signed Nancy Pelosi’s bailout bullshit provision that would have paid for condoms and abortions with our tax dollars.

Obama is going to address the graduates of Notre Dame University at commencement. The preeminent Catholic university in America will bestow upon him an honorary degree when he stands against what most Catholics believe, obfuscating everything from traditional marriage to abortion. “It is an outrage and a scandal that “Our Lady’s University,” one of the premier Catholic universities in the United States, would bestow such an honor on President Obama given his clear support for policies and laws that directly contradict fundamental Catholic teachings on life and marriage. This nation has many thousands of accomplished leaders in the Catholic Church, in business, in law, in education, in politics, in medicine, in social services, and in many other fields who would be far more appropriate choices to receive such an honor from the University of Notre Dame. Instead Notre Dame has chosen prestige over principles, popularity over morality. Whatever may be President Obama’s admirable qualities, this honor comes on the heels of some of the most anti-life actions of any American president, including expanding federal funding for abortions and inviting taxpayer-funded research on stem cells from human embryos.’ http://notredamescandal.com/ at The Cardinal Newman Center at Notre Dame.

We ask that you consider making a public statement, if not at the Commencement exercises themselves then in a highly visible public forum, distancing yourself and the University from his views, making it clear that the University disagrees in no uncertain terms with his views on the unborn, which stand in contrast to that of the Church’s stance of protecting the most defenseless and voiceless among us. Awarding him an honorary degree without making clear that the University disapproves of his stance on issues regarding the sanctity of human life would be a disrespect to those students who, like ourselves, chose to attend this University based not only on its status as one of the country’s premier institutions of higher learning, but a school that takes pride in its Catholic foundation and identity. ” http://www.nd.edu/~pbrown6/ObamaVisitLetter.html

The Catholic Bishops summed it up pretty clearly, “The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. The Roman Catholic bishop whose diocese includes the University of Notre Dame says he will boycott President Barack Obama’s May 17 commencement speech at the Catholic school because of Obama’s support for abortion rights and embryonic stem-cell research.
