http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/10/who_enforces_the_constitutions.html asks who enforces the Constitution’s Natural Born Citizen Clause?  Apparently it isn’t you or I that enforce the Constitution.  We only foot the bill with our taxes to those duly elected, to protect and serve, “We the people.

Worth the read , excerpted .

“The 10th Amendment to the Constitution states that the powers not delegated to the federal government, nor prohibited to the states, remain with the states or the people.  Therefore it seems that any state or any person has standing to sue to enforce not just the Natural Born Citizen Clause, but other constitutional requirements and rights, absent some expressly written bar within the Constitution itself.”

Judge Surrick did not agree in Berg vs Obama, which undoubtedly will be refiled.

NBC News and the group Election Protection are partnering up on election day to provide Americans with a completely slanted, liberal, Obama supporting socialitstic “spread the wealth around” view of Election Day news coverage.

http://www.866ourvote.org/newsroom/press-releases?id=0026 “With less than 14 days before Election Day, NBC News and Election Protection will be joining forces to help voters ensure that their vote will count. The news leader and the nation’s largest nonpartisan voter protection coalition will work together to promote the 1-866-OUR-VOTEHotline and http://www.866ourvote.org [sic-  http://www.866ourvote.org./ ] website so that voters can receive live assistance if they encounter problems, and access the information before they head to the polls now through Election Day.

(Jonah) “Goldman along with Barbara Arnwine and John Strasburger will offer regular updates on the “state of voting”, share their expert opinions on the voting issues dominating news headlines, and provide insight and advice for how voters and lawmakers can minimize the barriers voters face when registering and casting a ballot. ….Election Protection has more than 100 partners at the national, state and local level and is providing live voter protection services now through Election Day across all 50 states. On November 4, Election Protection will mobilize tens of thousands of volunteers, including 10,000 legal volunteers to monitor polling places, educate voters, facilitate a dialogue .”  A dialogue with Obama supporters leading the way.

100 Parners all for the most part support the platform of Senator Barack Hussein Obama for President.  The ACLU is one of those partners.   Roger Baldwin, the founder and main inspiration in the ACLU said  “I am for Socialism, disarmament, and ultimately for abolishing the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion. I seek social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and sole control by those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal. It all sums up into one single purpose-the abolition of dog-eat-dog under which we live.” http://www.stoptheaclu.com/archives/2005/10/26/the-aclu-is-not-non-partisan/

NBC wants the American public to believe that Barbara Arnwine and John Strasburger are going to offfer unbiased news reporting, I don’t think so.  In her interview with Essence, Arnwine stressed that the law is especially important to African Americans. “It defines who we are much more than it does anybody else,” she said. “We’re not all equal under the Constitution. Our equality hinges on three amendments, and the court is constantly amending the import of those amendments. It’s constantly in flux.” http://www.answers.com/topic/barbara-arnwine She has openly criticized the civil rights record of the Bush and Reagan administrations.   To think that the law is more important to African Americans than white Americans is quite a statement.

Election Partners is a who’s who of organizations that support Obama.  Main Stream NBC is hardly unbiased and like Obama’s other associations with people of character like The Reverend Wright, William Ayers, Atoin Tony Rezko, ACORN, put the liberal reform agenda for government handouts first and foremost.

Ladies and Gentleman, please remain in the upright and seated position ….

District Court, Judge Ricardo Urbina wants to release 17 Chinese Muslim detainees at Guantanamo, who are not Americans. “The decision is momentarily stayed while the Government appeals  “He reasoned, despite the fact that the Uighur’s are non-Americans held outside the United States, that they are vested by the United States Constitution with a right against indefinite detention.  The government has been trying to find a country that (a) will take them and (b) will not persecute them.  Where in the Constitution it says these aliens have a right to enter the United States and live among our population is not clear.  http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=MDcyNWRiYmFkM2RjMWYxNjA5MzM4YjI5YmNlMTc3NDk= Full report from http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/story/2008/10/07/ST2008100702270.html  The government cleared another 60 people in cleaning the Gitmo house but unlike the others- the Uighurs were reportedly trained at camps sponsored by the East Turkistan Islamic Movement, a group that the Bush administration designated a terrorist organization AFTER the men were detained, the lawyers have argued and thus would be certainly subject to horrors in their own homeland and sending them back would certainly be cruel and unusual.

Cruel and unusual?  Staying in Gitmo, going home or going free?  The government apparently provided no proof that they were enemy combatants or security risks in the first place, even after SEVEN YEARS in captivity.  They were never charged with any crime in the first place, only held in suspicion.  Is the American Justice System providing justice in interpreting the constitution to allow their release or providing a president to allow other prisoners freedom?

SEVEN Years is a long time in the fight for a fair trial.  And for what crime?  Reading the rules of the constitution, I’d say we( and them)  are all vested against indefinite detention.  Charge them with something already, have a trial and be done.  Or let them go.  Whether they are guilty or not, the hatred of America must be paramount after Seven years in captitity,  so much so that if they were released- they might just jaywalk, spit or complain they might get arrested again.

“The United States has made extensive and high-level efforts over a period of four years to try to resettle the Uighurs in countries around the world,” the State Department’s legal adviser, John B. Bellinger III, said in an interview. Its lack of success, he added, “has not been for lack of trying.  ”Published: June 10, 2007 in an article “Chinese Leave Guantánamo for Albanian Limbo” where four Guantanamo Detainees were released into Albania.   http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/10/world/europe/10resettle.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

CBO –Congetional Budget Office on October 1, 2008 issued its analysis of the financial rescue legislation —aka the Bailout released by the Senate.  The legislation includes the rescue package considered by the house earlier this week, a temporary increase in deposit insurance, and certain tax provisions including an extension of Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) relief. The pdf of the analysis is posted here. .

“…the Secretary would have the authority—if deemed necessary to promote stability in the financial markets—to purchase any financial asset at any price and to sell that asset for any price at any future date. That lack of specificity regarding how the authority would be implemented and even what types of assets would be purchased makes it impossible at this point to provide a meaningful estimate of the ultimate impact on the federal budget from enacting this legislation.”

OMG, ANY ASSET???  ANY ASSET?  Assets like my house, my business, my car, my bank accounts, my securities, etc.?  SHAME.  SHAME.

Maybe the Senate better re-write that.  Don’t ya think?  Maybe that’s the whole purpose- that in the event that your and my assets (not to mention asses) are deemed necessary to promote stability and avoid chaos, the government can take it away and sell any asset.  Maybe for a penny, maybe for an Amero, all as it deems appropriate.  Executive Order 11921 already allows FEMA control over in part, the flow of money in US financial institutions in any unidentified national emergency.

I don’t seriously suggest that the government had this in mind when writing these provisions but dammit anyways, there certainly is an increasingly squeezing of not just our pocketbooks, but those inalienable rights. Rights guaranteed, I was taught and still believe and trust in.

You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you don’t trust enough.
