President-elect Obama recorded a message for the Global Climate Summit, promising  “a new chapter of American leadership on climate change.”
There are so many chapters to Obama, and the book is still being written.  This week, Al Gore, once the ideal running mate, and Obama had a little two hour meet with Biden in tow to talk about climate change.

The author of “An Inconvenient Truth” and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Gore presented his ideas on the environment as one part of helping the nation’s struggling economy recovery.  Note that Gore was not offered a cabinet job.

Obama said they discussed so-called green jobs as a way to boost employment across the country, improve national security by reducing reliance on foreign oil, and reduce energy costs.  Obama said global warming is “not only a problem, but it’s also an opportunity.” http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2008/12/08/national/w120629S86.DTL&type=politics

“We all believe what the scientists have been telling us for years now, that this is a matter of urgency and national security, and it has to be dealt with in a serious way,” said Obama.  Alas, more than 650 scientists from around the world disagree with claims made by the United Nations, Gore and Obama about global warming, “saying that science does not support that climate change is a man made phenomenon, according to a Senate environmental committee’s press blog.http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Minority.Blogs&ContentRecord_id=2158072e-802a-23ad-45f0-274616db87e6

We have learned more than once that our leaders should take evidence from fact.  There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and the evidence is slipping that we are under a period of global warming.

Up to 6 inches of snow was reported in parts of Louisiana http://www.nola.com/news/index.ssf/2008/12/the_new_orleans_area_is.htm causing havoc.  New England residents are still without power from an ice storm. http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2008/12/13/ice_storm_paralyzes_parts_of_new_england/ and yet we see Obama and Gore chatting up the warmth.  Where is the fireplace setting?

Czech President Vaclav Klaus hit out at the EU climate deal concluded Friday and described global climate issues as “a silly luxury.”  http://www.spacedaily.com/2006/081212141651.tthkmkke.html

Most folks don’t pollute and do our part, but when it comes down to it a whole industry has been created under the guise of climate change.  “Obama is pushing changes in the way Americans use energy, and produce greenhouse gases, as part of what will be a massive economic stimulus. He called it an opportunity “to re-power America.” http://apnews.myway.com/article/20081214/D952LKP00.html

A General Electric Lamp factory used to show brightly near my home town where they would produce standard light bulbs and employ thousands, now it is shuttered and dark.  The next generation of light bulb is a CFL or compact fluorescent light bulb touting energy savings at a higher cost but longer life.  Sounds good until we realize that these new light bulbs are filled with the toxic substance Mercury, a “highly toxic heavy metal that can cause brain damage and learning disabilities in fetuses and children” and as “one of the most poisonous forms of pollution.” http://www.financialpost.com/story.html?id=aa7796aa-e4a5-4c06- .

Where are mercury-containing CFLs made? Not in the United States. under strict environmental regulation. CFLs are made in India and China, where environmental standards are virtually non-existent.

“It’s too bad they’re so capable, experienced, and energetic because the energy and global warming policies that President-elect Obama wants them to pursue are radical, economically disastrous, and pointless,” says http://www.globalwarming.org/node/2827  and says that, “Reality is setting in around the world, as temperatures continue flat and efforts to reduce emissions prove costly and ineffective.  Let’s hope that our elected leaders in Congress see what’s happening before they turn off the lights.”

U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe could be our hero in waiting who often butts heads with Gore.  http://newsok.com/green-team-obamas-choices-will-challenge-inhofe/article/3330250   Is it all a big swindle?  Visit http://www.junkscience.com/ who argues that human activity is the chief cause of warming, if it exists at all.

Leading headlines this morning continue to be about the weather with excessive rains in California, sub zero temperatures in the upper Midwest and those still recovering from the massive ice storm in the North East.   The “Icebox of the Nation,” International Falls, temps remained below zero.  http://www.answers.com/topic/international-falls-minnesota

Global Warming, humph.

Not in the headlines, it would appear that is is going to be a cold day in hell before anyone directly ties Obama to any Obamagate issues.

Highlighting Chicago politics, the matter continues to show relationships between the about to be impeached Democratic governor and some members of Obama’s inner circle.  His top campaign strategist, David Axelrod, will move to the White House for a senior adviser’s job and lists Blagojevich on his firm’s Web site as one of his clients, when the politician was a candidate for Congress.

The US Supreme Court  on December 15, 2008, the same day
that the Electoral College  met to vote for president and vice
president, has denied WROTNOWSKI, CORT V. BYSIEWICZ, CT SEC. OF STATE case, seeking again to require a verification of Obama’s eligibility to hold office. http://citizenwells.wordpress.com/ on SCOTUS at http://origin.www.supremecourtus.gov/docket/08a469.htm.

Alan Keyes still has a case pending but it looks like we’ve got at least four years of a chilly forecast from an Obama administration.

Obama has not been officially implicated or charged in anything.

Of all the brain washing crap we have been subject to, just in time for Christmas or should we be politically correct and say this holiday season, comes the children’s book, Why Mama Voted for Obama http://littledemocrats.net/Obama.html  http://www.amazon.com/Why-Mommy-Democrat-Jeremy-Zilber/dp/0978668804  http://news.aol.com/elections-blog/tag/Jeremy+Zilber/

“Why Mommy is a Democrat” also by Jeremy Zilber looks like an attempt to reach out to the two-year-old bloc. “Using plain and non-judgmental language,” the book’s Web site reads, “along with warm and whimsical illustrations, this colorful 28-page paperback depicts the Democratic principles of fairness, tolerance, peace, and concern for the well-being of others.” Of course, “Democratic candidates and party organizations” will receive part of the book’s profits.

These swipes at The Republican Party might go over the head of kids, but not parents and not over mine.

If you love your mama, thank her for having you because Obama has promised to continue partial birth abortions so as not to ‘saddle anyone with a baby.’  He is an enemy to unborn children.  http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/77500/barack_hussein_obama_jr_defends_partialbirth.html  There isn’t anything warm and fuzzy about that.

Laying further claim in brain washing, “we are already globalists-in-training and will be full-fledged ones in the not-too-distant future.” http://whitelocust.wordpress.com/2008/11/18/expatriation-in-situ-by-baron-bodissey/  Globalist, me?  No, I am an American and have documentation to prove it in any court of law in the U.S.A. Maybe Obama is in fact the ultimate Globalist in not only his genealogy but his ideals as well.  Our Constitution doesn’t allow for a Globalist as President only a qualified citizen at birth or natural born citizen.  I have little faith that Obama was born in Hawaii, the theory seems to be leaning toward Kenya, far across the globe giving him dual citizenship and making him ineligible and testing the Constitution in the process.

On last month anniversary of The People’s Temple mass suicide, http://www.thoughtsaloud.com/2008/11/19/marxism-religion-and-kool-aid/ I  I am reminded of the power leaders have over followers and blind faith.  The Nation magazine reported at the time, “The temple was as much a left-wing political crusade as a church. Jones message of socialist redemption was so strong it lulled more than 900 people to “drink the kool-aid.” of stupidity.

Knowledge is power and it is becoming more apparent how such faith in the Obama kool-aid that the government is going to everything for you with a vision of change.  It seems that a new world order with promises of democratic principles, may be coming like it or not, with citizens looking to the Obama administration so solve all that ails them.  All the new faces we were promised with  “Change,” looks like the same ole, same ole with the Clinton and Daschle old school politicians of the world back in power.

Gone will be the day of working hard in America when there is no incentive to do so.   The influences on the youngest members of our society, our children should be mindful that working hard is the best road to success.  The idea that a child’s educational experience will be enhanced by a mandatory two year commitment to community service is a disservice to our youth- say nothing of the 40 year old crowd.

All kool-aid has been removed from the pantry for the time being.  We will be serving melted snow that is abundant thanks to global climate change.  Snow contains no melamine or artificial ingredients, unless you count what the dog may add to it.

Oh yeah, Merry Christmas.  This book will not be under our tree and Santa better not bring it either.

In typical media bias, Reuters is reporting that the massive fires over the November 15, 2008 weekend that devastated more than 20,000 acres and numerous residences was of course caused by, global warming.  Reporters Dan Whitcomb and Jill Sergeant of Reuters wrote,  “California’s fire season, which traditionally ran from June to October, has been a year-round menace as global warming has brought higher winter temperatures and less rainfall.” http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE4AG0Z320081117

Oh, contra-ire mi com-padres, investigators say the fire that destroyed more than 1000 homes in the Santa Barbara and Montecito region was “human caused.” http://www.mercurynews.com/news/ci_11004172?nclick_check=1 Doug Lannon, a spokesman with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, said Sunday that investigators have eliminated all accidental causes of the fire. The fire began Thursday night in a Montecito landmark called the Tea House. Lannon said the area is a popular hangout for teenagers, and it’s possible someone was smoking in the brush or started a campfire there.

Yes, we need to protect our environment.  I don’t want to swim in a cess pool of garbage in our oceans and I don’t like breathing in smog, but in a prediction that differs from most in the public domain, I believe that there is evidence of cooling and I am not alone.

David Archibald at the International Conference on Climate Change, March 2008 writes, “We have to be thankful to the anthropogenic global warning proponents for one thing.  If it weren’t for them and their voodoo science, climate science wouldn’t have attracted the attention of non-climate scientists, and we would be sleepwalking into the rather disruptive cooling that is coming the next decade.”  http://www.warwickhughes.com/agri/Solar_Arch_NY_Mar2_08.pdf On Archibald’s site you can read more scientific data supporting the claim we are going to be colder.  http://www.davidarchibald.info/

Last year, barring our annual snow bird migration to Florida, here in the upper quadrant of the States, we froze and it was in fact the 54th coolest winter since national records began in 1895. http://www.farmersalmanac.com/weather/a/record-breaking-winter-weather-from-2008.  Don’t buy into the Farmer’s Almanac as reliable?  “Evidence has been supplanted by hard scientific fact. All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA’s GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously.  http://www.dailytech.com/Temperature+Monitors+Report+Widescale+Global+Cooling/article10866.htm and

Recent data from the Ulysses spacecraft, a joint NASA-European Space Agency mission, shows that sun has reduced its output of solar wind to the lowest levels since accurate readings became available. http://www.nasa.gov/home/hqnews/2008/sep/HQ_08241_Ulysses.html  Furthering the claim that it is simply getting colder, not warmer.

The faulty reporting from Reuters reminds us how often times governments and citizens are coerced by a minority to act and legislate against a problem that does not exist, and that we really have no control over at all.  The fire has obviously scarred peoples lives and the earth but Reuters continues to loose credibility to The Associated Press, UPI, and CNNewsWire when it’s reporters rely on their own assessments in reporting the news.

Just the facts, please.  As a side note, in politically correct circles, global warming has been rebelled  climate change.  Stay warm friends.
