Less than 72 hours to go, and McCain’s campaign is pushing an “anti-Obama” message and a Pro-McCain message second. Rumors continue to circle like sharks smelling blood around Obama, his family and his associates.  As usual the MSM- Main Stream Media has pretty much ignored Obama shortcomings and instead focused on polls surmising an Obama Victory.  McCain managed a one point lead over Obama last week but then Zogby decided to average out the polling for three days in a row, and ta-da, Obama is back in the Main Stream News leading by a huge margin .  “Remember, as I said yesterday, one day does not make a trend. This is a three-day rolling average and no changes have been tectonic.”  said pollster, John Zogby http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1627

Obama’s anti-rumor plan, it seems has worked. Rather than continuing to answer questions directly about lingering questions like: his citizenship, former relationships with terrorists like William Ayers, his ministry with Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the missing L.A. Times tape, or most recently his Aunt who is not only an illegal alien but illegally donated to his campaign, Obama instead has relied on his website fightthesmears.com to alleviate any lingering questions. http://www.fightthesmears.com/  Apparently the Obama campaign is too busy to provide a statement at this time regarding his Aunt, the L.A. Times Tape, or any of the pending litigation against him like Berg vs Obama on his site.

Obama was quoted in a mid-June Times article saying, “”We have seen this before. There is dirt and lies that are circulated in e-mails, and they pump them out long enough until finally you, a mainstream reporter, asks me about it,” Obama said, bristling. “That gives legs to the story. If somebody has evidence that myself or Michelle or anybody has said something inappropriate, let them do it.”  America has asked repeatedly for clarifications, yet Obama fails to answer directly.

In the matter of Obama’s aunt, Obama couldn’t even manage to make a comment himself instead relying on spokesman Ben LaBolt, saying that the campaign was returning $265 dollars donated by the aunt to her nephew’s campaign.

“It may be that Obama’s enduring argument – that America faces challenges too tough to be simply about so-called “domestic terrorists” and whether he has been lying about his birth certificate – will prevail in the end. “http://www.liberalconspiracy.org/2008/11/02/why-do-democrats-keep-losing/

While McCain has often wavered in his message, Obama’s from day one has said “What you won’t hear from this campaign or this party is the kind of politics that uses religion as a wedge, and patriotism as a bludgeon — that sees our opponents not as competitors to challenge, but enemies to demonize.”- Barack Obama, June 3, 2008.  I find it disheartening to know that I and other citizens who merely question his policies are demonizing him and unpatriotic.

McCain too has had his fair share of citizenship eligibility questions lobbed at him.  In April of this year, a number of Obama’s congressional supporters – including Gov. Claire McCaskill (D-MOi), Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK), Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), and Sen. James Webb (D-VA) –proposed  and passed a Resolution (S.Res.511) entitled: Recognizing that John Sidney McCain, III, is a natural born citizen. http://www.tulsatoday.com/newsdesk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1775&Itemid=2 This was the Resolution:
·  Whereas the Constitution of the United States requires that, to be eligible for the Office of the President, a person must be a `natural born Citizen’ of the United States;
·  Whereas the term `natural born Citizen’, as that term appears in Article II, Section 1, is not defined in the Constitution of the United States;
·  Whereas there is no evidence of the intention of the Framers or any Congress to limit the constitutional rights of children born to Americans serving in the military nor to prevent those children from serving as their country’s President;
·  Whereas such limitations would be inconsistent with the purpose and intent of the `natural born Citizen’ clause of the Constitution of the United States, as evidenced by the First Congress’s own statute defining the term `natural born Citizen’;
·  Whereas the well-being of all citizens of the United States is preserved and enhanced by the men and women who are assigned to serve our country outside of our national borders;
·  Whereas previous presidential candidates were born outside of the United States of America and were understood to be eligible to be President; and
·  Whereas John Sidney McCain, III, was born to American citizens on an American military base in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936: Now, therefore, be it
·  Resolved, That John Sidney McCain, III, is a `natural born Citizen’ under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United Calendar No. 715110th CONGRESS2d SessionS. RES. 511RESOLUTIONRecognizing that John Sidney McCain, III, is a natural born citizen. April 24, 2008. Reported without amendment Statess

Whereas, since it was entered into Congressional Records as fact, McCain did not have to provide a  birth certificate and neither does Obama, clearly circumventing the Constitution.  No such Congressional record exsisits to recognize that Baraq Obama is natural born.  According to Raymond S. Kraft, an attorney and writer: “The president, The Supreme Court justices, and all members of Congress, have taken an oath to defend and protect the Constitution and have an affirmative duty to protect the Constitution by doing whatever is necessary to insure that presidential (and congressional) candidates meet the Constitutional requirements for the offices they seek. It is a mandatory duty, and failure to do so violate their oaths of office. If they don’t follow this oath in Obama’s case, it will be the biggest swindle in American history, allowing Obama and the DNC to have concealed his true identity and lack of citizenship, thereby conning Democrats out of hundreds of millions of dollars of campaign contributions. If justice is served, dozens of `leading’ Democrats should go to prison for fraud.” from Tulsa Today.

http://www.youdontsay.org/Thoughts.htm Raymond Kraft on his own site, today wrote, ” Once again we have a candidate with wondrous and multitudinous promises. Just vote for him and joy and happiness will forever be ours. All of our wishes will be granted. All of our needs will be met. All of our fears will be banished. Because a vote for the anointed one is a vote for change: glorious, blessed, momentous change! Historians will remind us that Fidel Castro promised change as well. Karl Marx promised change. Adolf Hitler promised change. People bought into those fantasies, not thinking that a promise for change is a blank check for good or bad, anything but the status quo. Historians should also remind us that in almost all such instances, promises of change did not serve the people well.”

I Promise to vote for John McCain.

No wonder Obama put forth so much effort into early voting when he, himself knew that there would be issues surrounding his character and the entire voting process that might make him less appealing in the last minute before entering into the voting booth.

With just three days left until Election Day, a new CBS News poll finds that the Democratic presidential ticket of Obama and Biden leads its Republican counterpart by 13 points among likely voters, 54 percent to 41 percent.  Yet Zogby according to (CNN) — Sen. John McCain has inched ahead of Sen. Barack Obama in national polls, but the Democratic candidate holds a steady lead in the most recent Electoral College estimates. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/09/presidential.polls/

Oh, just shut up already.  I personally would put my family before anything in my life- I am a religious person, a Catholic in fact, and I while I believe in God, family for me comes first.  I see no evidence that Obama’s family comes first with relatives of every mix, nationality and religion scattered through out the world living in poverty.

Obama has down right, dirty deeded and unscrupioulsy attempted to influence early voters on the premise of reform.  What needs to be reformed is the whole idea of early voting.   Election day in America is November 4th, not one day before or one day after.  We have bent and yeilded the laws to make voting a convenience and it is a slap in the face of the American Voter to think that with out a rational excuse, you can vote early because you might have to stand in line for an hour or so on election day.  We have soldiers standing for us on foreign soil complaining they don’t have working guns and some shmuck will compain about the weather on election day.  Go figure.

“Obama, bidding to become the nation’s first black president, led in national polls as well as surveys in several battleground states. McCain’s hopes of an upset hinged on winning all or nearly all the states that carried Bush to victory in 2004, and possibly carrying Pennsylvania to give him a margin for error. ” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/01/obama-mccain-visit-red-  st_n_139946.html  As if all of America didn’t know the color of Obama’s skin, the media must once again state the obvious, Obama is black.  Yawning now, most don’t really care what color That One is.

Curtis Gans, director of the Committee for the Study of the American Electorate at American University, says the trend may show the impact of Obama’s get-out-the-vote effort. “It might indicate an advantage, at least out of the early voting figures, for the Democratic Party,” he says. But Republicans could close that gap, he notes at http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-10-21-early-voting_N.htm

Is it fair to say that early voters might be registered democratics who stand the most to benefit from that One, O’bama’s spread the wealth programs?  Yep. Many early Democratic voters can go at thier leisure unlike the rest of many Republicans who actually have jobs and are accountable to a time clock and would not necessarily sacrifice personal paid time off the job to go and vote.

With less than 72 hours I don’t care if you have to crawl uphill both ways to vote on Election Day.  Vote and Vote McCain.

It comes as no surprise that The New York Times is endorsing Obama for President.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/24/opinion/24fri1.html?_r=1&ref=opinion&oref=slogin

“As tough as the times are, the selection of a new president is easy. After nearly two years of a grueling and ugly campaign, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois has proved that he is the right choice to be the 44th president of the United States.”  “Mr. McCain, whom we chose as the best Republican nominee in the primaries, has spent the last coins of his reputation for principle and sound judgment to placate the limitless demands and narrow vision of the far-right wing,” it said.

It is almost laughable that readers of the NY Times, didn’t already know that the paper itself, its editors and journalist are all biased against John McCain and have supported Obama from the first days he announced his candidacy.  Just this week the company, reported a 16 percent drop in advertising revenue at its news media group, also said it might write down as much as $150 million at its New England operations, underscoring the dismal state of newspaper advertising.  It isn’t just dismal advertising dollars, readers have already gotten the news dismal news somewhere else long before the New York Times comes out.  Between the net and TV, the pubic who might care about an issue finds stories everywhere else but in national newspapers.

In the case of The Wall Street Journal http://online.wsj.com/public/us , readers do manage to get features that are related to Wall Street and the finance industry. News articles, are in fact news and editorial opinions are found in the editorial section.

If there are any undecided voters out there, certainly an endorsement of either candidate by The New York Times is not going to make a difference with less than two weeks to go until the election.  If you are still undecided, I suggest you do not vote.  http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/10/16/the-myth-of-the-undecideds/ Americans have endured two years of this getting to know the candidate through every means necessary.  Town Halls Meetings, debates, campaign ads, interviews, the web, blogs, etc.   I know enough that I question every reform platform and motive Obama has.  As a duly registered voter, I also question McCain’s policies and prior voting records but what I do not question is is his motive.  To both Obama and McCain, I question why 40% of workers do not qualify to pay taxes in the first place and why?   http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/oct/13/obama-tax-cut-refunds-those-who-dont-pay/

http://www.thebostonchannel.com/presidential-race/index.html is a reasonable place to compare the candidates.

Educated voters by now have heard more than enough to make an educated decision in the voting booth.   In the long run, The Times have done its audience a favor in clearly labeling itself the slanted liberal paper the rest of us always knew it to be.

Over the years, ACORN http://www.acorn.org/groups have registered more than 4 million voters. One would think it should be good news to have so many new voters in the Presidential Election.  Mickey Mouse will be voting for Obama- I think.

By now we know that when authorities in various states checked ACORN registrations, they found many fraudulent registrants with problems like no known address, the person was deceased, or had multiple registrations.   The usually reliable, Associated Press reported that the FBI is investigating whether the community activist group ACORN is engaging in a nationwide election fraud conspiracy. Specifically, they are reportedly examining evidence that there was a coordinated state-by-state effort to engage in voter registration fraud.  That seems fair- investigate ACORN, what could be wrong with that?  http://opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110009189 The Wall Street journal wrote about ACORN indictments back in 2006 so why would The ACLU and Obama seems to have a problem with investigating voter fraud again especially ACORN, with it’s multi decade history of fraud?  http://www.consumersrightsleague.org/uploadedfiles/Latest%20Million%20Dollar%20ACORN%20Scandal.pdf

http://www.aclu.org/votingrights/gen/37226prs20081017.html  The ACLU believes that the DOJ should protect voting rights and not suppress them. In a recent press release it said, Oct 17, 2008-“WASHINGTON – In response to news reports that the FBI has initiated an investigation into whether the community group ACORN has committed voter fraud in its voter registration drive, the American Civil Liberties Union urges the government to stop engaging in partisan probes that could cast a chilling effect on voter participation. The Department of Justice should focus instead on the true threat to the elections this November – the widespread possibility that millions of voters could be disfranchised through voter suppression schemes such as unlawful purging and racially motivated voter intimidation.”  According this this, the FBI a government agency is partisan?  I think it might just be the ACLU that is partisan in getting Obama elected.

http://stopacorn.org/ is a pretty good starting place to learn about some of ACORN’s antics, although some of the blogger llinks can appear a little nutty and extreme- even more so than here at Ahrcanum.

Maybe for just a minute it appears that disputing ACORN is all about Republican’s crying the tears blue seeing how candidate, John McCain is trailing in so many voter polls.  You bet McCain is pissed.  McCain is loosing in the polls (for now)  but what ACORN is actually about, is what appears to look like is voter fraud on a massive scale.  Obama for America has filed a letter from their general council- Robert Bauer, esq., to the Attorney General’s Office stating that “the law enforcement process is a political agenda.” http://www.politico.com/static/PPM106_obama_doj_letter.html  bringing up Bush’s removal of nine US Attorney’s in 2006 in a politically charged investigation.  Clinton fired attorneys.  Bush fired attorney’s.  Get over it.

Hillary Clinton might be having something to say about ACORN too, as Obama pretty much stold the nomination from what rightfully should have been hers- had all the delegates been accounted for in Michigan and Florida.

Should Obama win by a huge margin, a few 3 or 4 million votes won’t matter and he will become President of The Land.  Even after calling a winner on November 4th, or November 5th, or November 6th, or whenever- ACORN must be held accountable and so should Obama who accepted donations from them and certainly profited greatly.

Human Events, believes that :  “Congress must be called back into session immediately and emergency legislation must be passed that simply states that voters must produce a valid state or federal ID at the polls or have their votes counted only provisionally until legitimacy can be verified..”  http://www.humanevents.com/index.php?loadhome=true   Longtime civil rights activist Al Sharpton, who has called for investigations into voter registration fraud as well as voter intimidation and disenfranchisement warning that fraud “must be stopped before votes are counted or cast.”   http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=29132

Imagine if we had a national id program?  What of Obama’s strong support of giving illegal aliens in America driver’s licenses? What if no one investigates?
