Survived Thanksgiving with much to be thankful for.  Back to school, work, daily musings for many people. Not so in many parts of the world.  Heck, bet most Arabs abroad never even heard about Thanksgiving.  
 
The whole Arab Spring is just crazy.  Assaults, rapes, virginity tests!!!  A twat test in the year 2011?  Yup.  What would the Virgin Mother Mary think?  We do not think that Allah, God, the big Buddha or anyone else of a divine nature had this in mind- to allow atrocious attacks by governments on its own people.  And what of this ill timed tweet from the Muslim Brotherhood last week?

Is this what it comes down to?  That we humans on Earth are a supposed civilization of people who abuse each other?  Rather uncivilized.  Why would a Martian ever land on Earth when the Moon and space is much more inviting?  There is not any tear gas on the moon; at least that we know of, that we’ve left behind.

Some of the tear gas is produced by Combined Systems International of Jamestown, Pennsylvania. http://www.combinedsystems.com/index.html  Media reports keep saying it “may,” be from America.  Maybe we got some land for sale in the middle of the Hudson river.
 
The United States provides $1.3 billion a year in military financing for Egypt.http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/5309.htm#political  According to the State Department’s 2010 budget request, the aid is used to help strengthen and modernize the Egyptian army.   As if enough of the world isn’t pissed at America already, the perception is that the U.S. administration supports dictators.  Imagine how much tear gas is available to the hands of authority in the U.S.  Officially the American people do not support dictators.  Dictators not only taste bad,  but are in poor taste to democracy. 
 
While tear gas may help keep an army strong, its use is deplorable- not only in the U.S.A., but in Egypt and any where else on calm protesters.  But, and we do mean BUT, maybe it is threats from above.

What the heck is that?  Why are earthings shooting laser beams into space? Why are earthings doing virginity tests?  SNAFU. What the heck are the chances a lightening strike hits a laser beam.  If the weather was crap for a laser test, why try it at all?  If the people are peaceful why use tear gas?

Laser guide stars are artificial stars created high up in the Earth’s atmosphere using a laser beam with a power of several watts. The laser, in this case a powerful 20 watt yellow beam (operating at 589 nm), makes the sodium atoms in a layer 90 kilometres up in the atmosphere glow and so creates an artificial star in the sky that can be observed by a telescope. SNAFU, and that’s nothing to laugh about.  

Today we are again reminded of the threat of Islamic Sharia law and jihad and freedoms in the U.S.A.  Another whack job Muslim extremist was caught by the N.Y.P.D. for attempted terrorism.  The police response was to show a clip of a similar bomb in to demonstrate what could have happened had they not caught him.

The FBI had him under surveillance, but thought he was too stupid to carry out an attack. “On a YouTube channel linked to him, Pimentel – who also goes by the name Muhammad Yusaf – he describes himself as a “Sunni Muslim brother” from the Dominican Republic living in Harlem, whose interests include “watching videos of YouTube, working out, reading and learning all aspects of the only true religion of all the prophets: Islam.””  From http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/nov/21/jose-pimentel-bomb-suspect-fbi?newsfeed=true

Instead of showing a car explosion- how about showing the World Trade Center being blown to smithereens?  Rephrase that- blown up in the name of Allah.??

Please make a point on what happens when you don’t stop Muslim terrorists before they can act.

In Egypt, the protesters are back in Tahrir Square in central Cairo, as well as in Alexandria and Suez.  The revolution is targeting the army of generals of the Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) who replaced Mubarak. Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, Mubarak’s long-time defence minister now heads the SCAF– at least for the time being.
 
The protesters want democracy and civilian rule.  But, by the looks on TV,  it is the army targeting the masses with scores injured by tear gas, rubber bullets and brutality by security forces. 
 
And, what does the Muslim Brotherhood have to say?  The official English-language Twitter page for Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, one of the most prominent Islamist organizations in the world…

According to the AP, http://mobile.boston.com/news/world/middleeast/articles/2011/11/21/police_protesters_clash_for_3rd_day_in_egypt?page=2 Egypt’s state television says the Cabinet has submitted its resignation to the ruling military council but that it will stay on to run the nation’s day-to-day affairs until a decision is made.  Elections are slated for November 28.  We’ll see about that.
 
The Muslim Brotherhoods recently established political arm is the Freedom and Justice Party (Arabic: حزب الحرية والعدالة‎ , Ḥizb al-ḥurriya wa al-’adala),  and though it touts itself as a religious movement, may win.  Read Foreign Policy, The Middle East Channel-
 
67 percent of Egyptians say that laws should strictly follow the Quran’s teachings, while another 27 percent say that they should in some way follow the values and principles of Islam, according to an April Pew poll….liberal claims (or hopes) that Salafis are well outside of the mainstream may be wishful thinking. In a December 2010 poll, 82 percent of Egyptians said they favored stoning adulterers, while 77 percent supported cutting off the hands of thieves.
 
Known as ‘Rajm’ in Arabic,  being stoned to death by rocks and having your hands cut off doesn’t sit well with Western ways of justice and democracy.  Then again, getting tear gassed and pepper sprayed at a peaceful protest whether in Oakland, California or in Egypt doesn’t seem right either.

Moscow Airport Bombing, I’ll Kill You All

In Russia, Moscow’s Domodedovo airport was hit with a bomb explosion earlier today. Officials are saying that at least 30 people have been killed, and hundreds have been injured in a terrorist bombing attack.

This is not the first terrorist attack in Russia and likely it will not be the last.

Moscow suffered its worst attack in six years in March 2010 when two female suicide bombers from Russia’s volatile Dagestan region set off explosives in the metro, killing 40 people.  Russia is battling an Islamist insurgency in the Caucasus and deadly attacks on government and police officials in Dagestan as well as neighbouring Chechnya and Ingushetia are an almost daily occurrence.

Reports say the blast happened in the baggage reclaim area of Domodedovo airport

Airport spokeswoman Yelena Galanova is telling Interfax: “The explosion occurred in the international arrivals hall in a public area, to which people who are not passengers have free access.” 

FREE ACCESS, imagine that. Airports in the U.S.A. have free public access to arrival halls and baggage claim areas as well.   Take a look at the Las Vegas Airport for example.  Think any subway systems, any bus terminal, any department store.  Anyplace, anywhere.

The last time I few through Vegas, someone actually double checked to see if my baggage claim ticket matched the ticket on my suitcase and there were security personnel about, but there was plenty of public access to the area.  Smokers going in and out, people looking for friends, looking for a taxi, etc.  As in the case with the Moscow airport, a whole bunch of airports are set up the same way.

When entering the airport we are now patted down and x-rayed before boarding.  That in and of itself a whole rant.  The balance between security and “Amendment IV” of the Constitution that says: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause…”  The article, “Airport Degredations,” does a fine job of ripping the TSA to shreds at  http://sagharboronline.com/sagharborexpress/our-town/airport-degradations-11004

Whatever one’s belief on the pat down and security screening process, it should not be rocket science to have some additional security in place where there is public access.  Where are all those bomb sniffing dogs we keep hearing about anyway?

Remember Chris Liu, the pilot based at San Francisco International Airport who caught heat from the TSA for posting a You Tube video of the security breaches at the airport? Remember how his license to carry a weapon was pulled?
Remember his concern that while pilots, flight attendants and passengers needed to go through security checkpoints, other airport personnel did not?

1655: Aviation expert Chris Yates backs the theory that suicide attacker was responsible for the attack, telling the BBC: “Quite an amount of shrapnel has been found in the arrivals hall – ball bearings and other things that could be packed into a suicide belt. We could be talking about a walk-in suicide attacker walking in and blowing themselves up at that critical moment.”

1722: Interfax quotes unnamed security sources as saying the head of the suspected bomber has been found: “We have found the head of a man of Arab appearance who is about 30 to 35 years old. He presumably set off the explosive device.”

1737: According to eyewitnesses quoted by Russian TV’s Vesti news programme, the bomber shouted “I’ll kill you all” before detonating his explosives

1740: Russian affairs analyst Andrei Ostalski tells BBC World Service: “The attack was so professionally engineered, it was done in such a brutally efficient way there are not too many groups in Russia that have this kind of practical experience of setting up such devices. So of course everybody is thinking about Chechen groups and insurgents who have been trained to do that kind of thing.”

Trained to do that kind of thing?  Despicable.

Akhmed Azimov, chairman of the Moscow branch of the Russian Congress of Caucasus Peoples, told The Moscow News that his organisation is calling for a calm reaction to the nationalist riots, and is advising young Caucasus natives to stay away from counter-protests, such as the abortive attempt to hold a rally near Kievsky Station in mid-December.
“We’ve tried our best to calm down the youth from the North Caucasus – we’ve asked them not to react in any way to the provocations from the ultranationalist movements,” Azimov said.

Roughly the same number as those unfortunately killed in today’s suicide bombing will die on America’s roads today, as well as tomorrow and in fact every day of the year – an average of 115 Americans are killed in car accidents daily, about one every 13 minutes, but you will never see it make the national headlines never mind gain global attention.

And why is that? Because every time we climb into our cars we subconsciously accept the price of freedom – which is the chance of being injured or killed. We take the same gamble every time we board an airplane, cascade down a ski slope or go up in a hot air balloon. We do so because the benefits of being a free human being are infinitely more rewarding than living in constant fear and demanding omnipresent “security,” which is never achievable anyway.

I wish the media would show a little freedom of the press, and show his cowardly blown off head.  That would be a deterrent.

NORAD Red Flag Exercise Targets Chicago

In practicing for terror exercises over Chicago, is Falcon Virgo 09-Windy City-One, a red flag warning that there could be an immanent attack?  Could Sears Tower, now called Willis Tower as of last week, be the next catastrophic terrorist attack on U.S. Soil?  Willis Group Holdings, a London-based insurance broker is the new owner http://www.willistower.com/– will they be the  next 9/11 or the 9/11-2b?   The zip code of the Sears- er, Willis Tower is 60606- 666!  I still hear Joe Biden’s warning that in the next 6 months America and President Obama will be tested.

Since Sept. 11, 2001, NORAD fighters have responded to more than 2,100 possible air threats in the United States and have flown more than 51,000 sorties.  51,000 sorties  in 8 years?   Ummm that works out …….8 years times 52 weeks in a year equals a total of 416 weeks-  times 7 days in a week, equals 2,912 days.  Take those 51,000 sorties divided by the 2912 days and you get an average of 17.5 sorties flown every single day since 9-11.  Holy shit, batman.  Yet, we need more practice?

The military unit most involved in the exercises leading to 9/11, Vigilant Guardian was NORAD’s Northeast Air Defense Sector (NEADS).  The imaginary scenario and exercises played out in reality days later. Labeling it a failed emergency response on the day of the attacks, is to put it mildly. 
 
“For the NEADS crew, 9/11 was not a story of four hijacked airplanes, but one of a heated chase after more than a dozen potential hijackings—some real, some phantom—that emerged from the turbulence of misinformation that spiked in the first 100 minutes of the attack and continued well into the afternoon and evening,” wrote Vanity Fair Magazine.  Asking, “How did the U.S. Air Force respond on 9/11? Could it have shot down United 93, as conspiracy theorists claim? Obtaining 30 hours of never-before-released tapes from the control room of NORAD’s Northeast head-quarters, the author reconstructs the chaotic military history of that day—and the Pentagon’s apparent attempt to cover it up.

In the event of a real attack during the NLE, we we again have menial response like on 9/11 or no response at all?  Our U.S. military and federal agencies, in cooperation with foreign troops from Australia, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom (Yes- foreign troops on U.S. Soil !) will be practicing for more imaginary catastrophic events concentrated around Washington, DC and FEMA Region VI, which includes the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
 
Rather ironic FEMA issued this press release regarding  Texas, today July 21, 2009, ” has awarded more than $20 million in hazard mitigation grants to the city of Galveston to acquire 64 homes that suffered extensive damage as a result of Hurricane Ike. One $15.3 million grant was obligated to Galveston for authorities to acquire 46 residential properties located in the 100-year floodplain. Obama Bows to Saudi King

In a further display of disgust, President Obama has bowed before the king and it wasn’t Elvis.  He met the so-called king who governs Saudi Arabia – the historical seat of Islam, where the most basic of human freedoms don’t exist.

Maybe it has something to do with the rumors that Mr. Barack Hussein Obama’s Harvard education was arranged and funded by the Saudi’s old pal Khalid as Mansour, an Islamist with deep ties to the Saudi royal family.

Reality is we need the Saudi’s help for America’s finance and security in the world. 

It is just gross that Obama kissed the ring of  a man who heads a nation who believes in the same repressive Islamic sharia law that makes ownership of woman and rape acceptable. http://www.islamic-sharia.org/

Obama named Iranian born, Valerie Jarrett as the head of the newly formed White House Council on Women and Girls.  Jarret was a senior adviser to Obama’s presidential campaign and a member of his finance committee, and also the chief executive of Habitat Co., which managed Grove Parc Plaza that was apparently was seized 2006, after city inspectors found widespread problems.

Obama did not bow to The Queen of England.   He does apparently bow to Jarret. 

The Saudi’s have oil, America has freedom- at least so far.

Addendum 4.4.09- The new Saudi king has ordered citizens not to kiss his hand, saying the traditional gesture of respect is degrading and violates Islam.

Obama’s $150 million -In God We Trust

It all comes down to the money.  While economist have the US economy in crisis mode, hundreds, if not thousands, have ante up to give Obama over $150 million in contributions.  A record!  I wonder how much of that $150 million is foreign dollars?

Poor Republican nominee John McCain is literally poor.  McCain’s campaign is languishing not only on his message but monies coming in.  The pollsters say that McCain should stay focused on issues and that ads that attack and question Obama’s policies and associations don’t work.  Polls matter but message matters more.  Who owns the polls?  Gallup and Zogby are two polling companies we hear mentioned often in the news but even there associations are suspect.

It is a bunch of crap and McCain better wake up and get his message out now, before it is too late and Obama is in fact the victor in the battle for Presidency.  Ask the questions of Obama directly and stop being such a nice old grandpa figure.  Get Berg on TV to mention the pending court case regarding his citizenship status and 56 questions.  Get Atty. Get a grip McCain and step up to the plate, you have nothing to loose- America does and if McCain can’t get the truth out there ASAP,  his years of patriotic service to this country are about to come to an end.   There are just so many unanswered questions lingering about Obama, it makes me sick.  And it makes me sick that McCain can’t seem to get this message out.

This is whom Barack Hussein Obama was keeping company with during his “grass roots” years less than less than six years ago, in 2001.  I wish every dime McCain had left would show the headlines and photos of people he has some associations with.   I want a poll that asks clearly and concisely, “Do You Trust Obama?”  Vote McCain. 

“In God We Trust” is on every piece cent of the $150 million dollars Obama has received in contributions.  Will he trust God or rely on his shady associates from the past to form America’s policy for the future? 

If McCain can’t win then let it be his job to make sure every Democratic Voter knows exactly who they are voting for when choosing That One. 

Be warned to keep a wary eye on his motives.
