The wars of religion vs science and capitalism vs socialism continue.  As we prepare to celebrate Easter and Passover, is it possible that we will see a continuation of divergence?  Can we hope that it is possible that these battles will end, and we can all play nicely together?

Keith Lockitch, Ph.D. in physics, and a fellow at the Ayn Rand Institute in Irvine, CA wrote, “At first glance, this seems to exemplify a kind of harmony between religion and science, a peaceful concord between faith and reason. Indeed, a variety of public figures—from prominent scientists to the Pope—have promoted the view that science and religion are not adversaries but complementary and mutually supporting fields. “Truth cannot contradict truth,” they declare, implying that the truths discovered by reasoning from sensory evidence cannot clash with the “truths” of religious dogma.” http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?ID=5139

Truths do contradict truths, everyday. Reality and truth are only what you perceive and believe in.

Religions of the world argue and fight in the name of God.  Scientists argue over Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, although the book Finding God in The Heat of The Battle, David J. Turell writes of discoveries that logically God exists, beyond a reasonable doubt. http://sciencevsreligion.net/  Even The Vatican is clarifying that Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution is compatible with its doctrine after all!

Evolution opponents are adapting. Now that “intelligent design” and “creation science” have failed in court, the new catch phrase, the New York Times reports, is “strengths and weaknesses.” It might seem innocuous, but critics say it’s yet another tactic to undermine the teaching of evolution in schools. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/04/us/04evolution.html?_r=1  Lest you forget, global warming is also taught in school along with abstinence.

Father Giuseppe Tanzella-Nitti, Professor of Theology at the Pontifical Santa Croce University in Rome says, As for the Origins of Man, although we shared 97 per cent of our “genetic inheritance” with apes, the remaining 3 per cent “is what makes us unique”, including religion. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/faith/article5705331.ece  More monkey business will be discussed at  a papal-backed conference next month marking the 150th anniversary of Darwin’s On the Origin of Species.  Rembrandt’s masterpiece “The Three Crosses”, is a stunning depiction of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. http://www.rightpundits.com/?p=3707

The Foundation for Scientific Research, an Islamic creationist group is widely disseminating a 13 pound, 768-page tome that slams evolution and promotes Islam-inflected creationism, the Christian Science Monitor reports. The Council of Europe has issued warnings—particularly to schools—against the “Atlas of Creation,” which has been published in 80 countries and 59 languages.  http://www.csmonitor.com/2007/0803/p01s10-woeu.html

In L’Aquila, Italy, an open- air funeral Mass was held Good Friday to remember victims of Italy’s most devastating earthquake in a generation.  The 6.3-magnitude quake that killed at least 290 people and left nearly 40,000 homeless was preceded with science backed warnings by Giampaolo Guiliani.  The government dismissed his predictions based on seismographic evidence.  Pope Benedict XVI urged survivors not to give up, praying at the end of the Good Friday torch-led Way of the Cross procession at the Colosseum that they may see the “star of hope.”

Turning toward hope for the future and the change Obama professed, the recent polls from Rasmussen say only 53% of Americans believe capitalism is better than socialism.  The youth have a romanticized view of culturally superior European values while, we are witnessing a  modern liberal assault on Constitution-based values in the U.S.  Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto argues for capitalism over socialism far better than I.  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1416562850?ie=UTF8&tag=punpun-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=1416562850

While Santa Clause is based on a real human being, The Easter Bunny is based on a mishmash of Pagan and Christian ideologies.  The History of  The Easter Bunny can be found at http://www.professorshouse.com/family/holidays/history-easter-bunny.aspx.   Rather than representing the time frame and the events revolving around Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, The Easter Bunny spawns a frenzy of capitalism with gifts like new bicycles, scooters, digital camera, i-phones, mingling in with some chocolate, and of course hard boiled eggs.   I hope we see a bounce in the Consumer Goods Index on The Dow- we can credit The Easter Bunny and not Obama!

The White House will hold the 2009 Easter Egg roll on Monday with environmentally friendly, recyclable Easter Eggs. http://features.csmonitor.com/politics/2009/04/09/white-house-unveils-recyclable-egg/

Hippity Hoppity Easter’s on its way- and maybe religious free socialism too.  Behold your king.

Obama has added further insult to all Americans saying that we have, “failed to appreciate Europe.”  Charles Krauthammer tore into Obama saying that “It’s hard to appreciate an entity’s leading role in the world when it’s been sucking on your tit for 60 years as Europe has.”

How does a sitting President jest at the same citizens he leads?   The same citizens who are bailing out the world with its tax dollars, promising to contribute funds to a global stimulus package.

Being politically correct, note that it is suddenly offensive to refer to our government owned entities like GM and AIG as receiving bailouts, but rather government stimulus funds.

Whether you call the domestic and international contribution a bailout or a stimulus, the money is funding The New World Order.  It’s not as if you weren’t warned, you just didn’t want to believe.   For better or worse, Gordon Brown has once again confirmed the future saying, “”This is collective action…we have resolved that from today we will together manage the process of globalization.”

Leaders at the G-20 summit have agreed to give $1 trillion to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank for global unity and a financial strategy.

We will have to wait to see how much Obama has promised at the G20 summit.  Who and what entity gives Obama the power to spend?  Who authorized Obama to wear a Mr. Goodwrench hat and authorize government backed car warranties?

The latest domestic budget is $3.6  trillion dollars and will create $9.6 trillion in debt.  From the WSJ, ” President Barack Obama delivered a $3.6 trillion budget blueprint to Congress Thursday that aims to “break from a troubled past,” with expanded government activism, tax increases on affluent families and businesses, and spending cuts targeted at those he says profited from “an era of profound irresponsibility.”  http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123564748462081261.html

Obama’s budget would produce $9.3 trillion in deficits over the next decade, more than four times the deficits of Republican George W. Bush’s presidency, congressional auditors said.  http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090320/ap_on_go_pr_wh/obama_budget

Roosevelt’s ‘New Deal’ failed because it hindered people from helping themselves.  In both domestic and on an international scale, we see the same mistakes.  Obama says it isn’t time to redecorate the house but rebuild foundations.  Founded upon the foundation of democracy, America now has a dictator style infringement upon the rights of private companies and private citizens.

Obama’s budget bill will essentially allow the Treasury to define “fair pay” for all employees, at any level.  The Serve Act proposes to make volunteering for the government mandatory with pay and prohibits, “volunteers from participating in worship and church activities, political rallies and naturally being involved in a union.  All hail Obama?

Don’t act surprised.  From day one we knew Obama felt that the Constitution is fundamentally flawed.  Redistributive change and socialism was first brought to MSM light by Joe The Plumber.  The ‘change you can believe in’ and ‘change we need’ are code words for Barack Obama’s ultimate goal: ‘redistributive change.’  http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=79225

Not ready for the NWO? Obama has plans for a civilian Army as large as our military, and as well funded- $650 billion annually.  U.S. Troops are on active duty on US Soil and Mexican Troops stand at the ready on the Mexican border.  The Omnibus Land Seizure Act just gave the government thousands of acres to train more soldiers or place civil disobedient citizens into detention centers.  The last stimulus Bill includes $8 billion for America’s railroad system will provide for easy transportation of dissenters to Fema camps. “High-speed rail is the infrastructure bank,” said Rahm Emanuel, quoted at http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0209/18924_Page2.html  Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on behalf of Las Vegas interests seeking a rail link to Los Angeles coined the term, “Sin City to Tomorrow Land.”

If Martial Law comes in America, do not expect ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN, Fox News Network, Reuters or the AP to give a full or accurate account of the truth due to limitations of the digital broadcasting system and the Fairness Doctrine.

Under the guise of escalating U.S. defenses against cyberattacks, The Internet, cyber security “czar” has unprecedented authority to shut down computer networks, including private ones. The bills sponsor- Senate Commerce Committee Chairman John D. Rockefeller IV.

You were warned, Obama’s tomorrow land is today.

Here is more smoking gun evidence.

Obama promised to never ever raise taxes for anyone making under $250,000 and that 95%  of all Americans would receive a tax break, but on April 1st another tax break, has literally gone up in smoke.

The increase of cigarette taxes jumped up 156% on April Fools Day.  The tax hike on roll-your-own tobacco is 2160% ,

Rich smokers, and the poor who are the least likely to afford it, are paying more taxes. More than half of smokers are working poor and live below the poverty line making about $36,000; well below the threshold $250,000.  I’d call that a tax increase, plain and simple.

What fools voters were to not see through the smoke for the truth about Obama, who himself smokes.  It is addictive.  It spins molecules in pleasure centers.  It stinks.  It smells great.  Some love it, some hate it.  Most admittedly, inhale.

I stopped at the Shell gas station to fill up for $2.05 a gallon, for a whopping $38 total for my 18 mpg, gas guzzling, American branded GMC, 4×4.  I bought a pack of cigarettes for $6.50.  How could a pack of smokes cost more than a gallon of gas refined from the earth?

I get the whole fuel tax whose receipts are usually dedicated to transportation projects- a users fee, where we still have to pay to travel on toll roads.  I also understand the medical costs associated with smoking, but eventually – we will all die of something.  It is probably a higher incidence of pneumonia from for smokers standing outside in frigid weather to light up.  Remember those childproof lighters?  Whatever happened to them?  http://www.access.gpo.gov/nara/cfr/waisidx_03/16cfr1210_03.html has a whole list of CPSC- Consumer Protection laws on the books that are not enforced.

When all the smokers die, who will be left to pay the tax that is earmarked for government subsidized health care for children?   It is supposed to provide health insurance under the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009.  http://www.ncsl.org/programs/health/chiphome.htm

In PA- ” Smokers indeed pay quite a hefty sum to not only Uncle Sam – now at $1.01 per pack.  The state also scrapes in $1.35 every time someone says, “can I get a pack of …” That’s $2.36 for those taxes, which doesn’t include sales tax,…”http://www.wayneindependent.com/news/x180621890/-Shock-awe-over-huge-cigarette-tax-hike

I know, I know, quit already.  Every time I light up, my blood pressure boils not only at the health risk, but at the fact that it is just one more thing that the stealth government is controlling.

Use your credit card and the world will know of all the sins you purchase.  PayPal enforces its morals clause with extra fines and fees. The terms of service have long banned the purchase of adult content, shady prescription drugs dealings and gambling services, and the e-commerce payment firm owned by eBay debits account owners bank accounts directly for as much as $500 per violation.  http://www.marketingvox.com/paypal_to_fine_accounts_500_for_sin_purchases-016859/

Buy all the sin you wish as long as you are willing to pay.  When did PayPal turn Catholic?

298-112 , The House passed legislation giving the FDA power to regulate tobacco.  The FDA’s reputation as of late has been less than stellar.  Who will be the tobacco czar?  Who is left to pass a moral justification that hasn’t had problems with the IRS?

The tobacco producing states will oppose the bill.  Where is the outrage from the tobacco manufacturers?   Under the proposed law, they can’t ban existing tobacco products, but will have power to restrict sales for safety reasons.

Why wouldn’t the government ban smoking entirely?  Because smokers provide more than $5 billion in tax revenue annually! The United States provides an annual net tax revenue from cigarettes of $5,586,000,000. source at http://www.smokingaloud.com/ban-cigarettes.html  who also says, “Take money out of the equation and these bleeding heart liberals will tuck their tails and abandon your children.”

Five billion dollars, boys and girls.  That’s buying power.

Your safety is determined by the Marlboro Man and Mr. Goodwrench aka, President Obama, just like your health care is about to be.

Smoke ’em while you got ’em.  Want to quit?  See more of your tax dollars at work at http://www.smokefree.gov/index.asp

teaparty-floyd1

The poster makes it look so cool to have a tea party in the UK.  This is not the image we have today with riots over the economy and the G20 summit.  Pix here- http://www.sacbee.com/static/weblogs/photos/2009/04/021195.html?mi_atom=The%20Frame

The G20 protesters are running around like little anarchists with their faces covered, spewing anti-capitalism and damaging The Royal Bank of Scotland.  I don’t see a tea pot in sight.

America was founded on capitalistic principles.  The politics under Obama, Biden and Pelosi are insisting on changing America into a version of European socialism.  The EU’s economy isn’t any better than ours, but citizens who want to live under socialism, should just move to Europe where they can make fun of us far from far away, but they won’t go.

With calm appeal, that leaves the rest of us who are outraged.  Whatever your beef: the trillions of dollars in debt, poor management of existing regulations, unemployment, health care, education, bailouts, stimulus packages, or the heavy burdens of increased taxes, I urge you to consider attending or organizing a Tea Party on Tax Day, April 15.

The number of websites offering Tea Party activities is growing but http://taxdayteaparty.com/ is a concise place to find out what is going on in your own city and state.  Radio Patriot has some suggestions on getting a party started. http://radiopatriot.blogspot.com/2009/03/orlando-tea-party-organizer-offers.html

I pray that the protests any tea party do not attract the type of person who, rather than peacefully hold up a sign, will protest, whine, shout and break everything within sight.

The spread of democracy continues to be fought in Iraq, and Afghanistan with soldiers blood, sweat and tears.  Tea Party Tax Day is not the forum for spilling blood or violence on the streets of America.

Get your feet out of the quicksand and on to the street.  You can be mad as hell, but the goal is to peacefully protest.

If you want to educate your children about the Original Boston Tea Party, Liberty Kids is for you.  http://www.libertyskids.com/index.html.

This Tea Party poster is available for sale on ebay at http://cgi.ebay.com/PINK-FLOYD-UK-1966-INCREDIBLE-TEA-PARTY-CONCERT-POSTER_W0QQitemZ310131570329QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item310131570329&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

Obama’s administration drives foreign cars, ain’t that a kick in the ass?   In this day of a New World Order are you really surprised?

Car & Driver did a report on what kind of vehicles politicians drive.  Prior to having a driver for his Cadillac limo, nick named, “The Beast”, Obama drove a Chrysler C300.  340 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque at around 20 MPG.  In great hypocrisy,  it is far from a hybrid, fuel efficient means of transportation.  http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/hot_lists/high_performance/features_classic_cars/what_would_barack_obama_drive_feature__1

No matter what kind of car you own, we are the deer in the headlights and Obama the hunter.

We live in a country where if your car breaks the governement fixes it;  if you get sick,  the government decides if you get fixed. Lordy, lordy.

This is not some dark espionage thriller where the citizen gets away in the end.  The realities of Obama’s change, hope and promise continue to erode  American democracy and capitalism.

Non-partisanship finally has meaning.  We should fire and vote out almost every Congressman and Senator and elected official. The governments corporatocracy is running our biggest corporations and our banks instead of shareholders.

If the government wants the responsibility surely it’s citizens should be calling the shots.  Not that the tea-parties going on around the country will amount to much.

“The Heartbeat of America,”  Chevrolet’s long running trademark tag line is long dead- replaced by the line, “An American Revolution,” in its advertising.  We are seeing the start of a revolution indeed, and if we don’t wake up, democracy will be dead too.  Praise be, GM no longer makes the Vega.

It’s hard being the backseat driver waiting for the next economic collision to occur.  Looking in the in the rear view mirror to see America run over by socialism shouldn’t be an option either.

Obama playing Mr. Goodwrench isn’t helping matters.

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and the corporations which grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

Score one for the taxpayers and owners of ground zero.  No longer will the construction delayed tower be referred to as The Freedom Tower, it is going back to its legal name, One World Trade Center.

“The fact is, more than 3 billion dollars of public money is invested in that building and, as a public agency, we have the responsibility to make sure it is completed and that we utilize the best strategy to make certain it is fully occupied,” the Port Authority said at http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090328/ap_on_re_us/attacks_freedom_tower.

I shouldn’t have been coined the Freedom Tower or any other touchy, feel good, patriotic, heal America adjective that protects people from remembering the despicable acts of terrorists on that fateful day.  The bastards who took thousands of victims, left survivors who remember seeing airplanes crashing, steel falling, death and destruction.  The crashing planes and towers should be replayed over and over to remind every single person how much hate can be levied against America.  Images of 911 are barely newsworthy except on the anniversary of 911.

The building was, and always be, The One World Trade Center.

Incidentally, what did General Motors do after 911?  It donated $1 million,  60 cars, and matched employee contributions.   Rather patriotic I’d say.

Cowards destroyed One World Trade Center, they did not take away our freedom.  We have politicians to do that for us while they lead us into government sponsored socialism and the ownership of an unbuilt Tower; no matter what you name it, floundering General Motors, and a few banks to name a few things.

I got my hands on the wheel….

Obama is keeping his Cadillac, but not Rick Wagner the head of General Motors.

Rick Wagoner has agreed to step down as General Motors chairman and chief executive at the behest of the White House as part of a plan to provide more aid to U.S. automakers, administration officials said today at http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-auto-bailout30-2009mar30,0,2247834.story?track=rss.

Cadillac has built limousines and special vehicles for U.S. presidents, diplomats, ambassadors and foreign dignitaries since the early 20th century.

President Obama is expected to unveil plans for the American auto industry this week, including the fact that GM and Chrysler will be seeking more bailout money.  In yet another Barackstar appearance, on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Obama said Sunday that the nation could have a “successful U.S. auto industry.”

The Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry, headed by the Treasury Department is studying ways and means to make things more effective and avoid Chapter 11.  Members of the Force are of course,[ source http://www.whitehouse.gov/the_press_office/Geithner-Summers-Convene-Official-Designees-to-Presidential-Task-Force-on-the-Auto-Industry/]

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and—

  • National Economic Council Director Larry Summers
  • Secretary of Transportation
  • Secretary of Commerce
  • Secretary of Labor
  • Secretary of Energy
  • Chair of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers
  • Director of the Office of Management and Budget
  • Environmental Protection Agency Administrator
  • Director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change

Senior Adviser on Auto Issues at the Treasury Department

  • Ron Bloom, Senior Advisor on the Auto Industry, Department of Treasury

Official Designees of the Members of the Presidential Task Force:

  • Diana Farrell, Deputy Director, National Economic Council
  • Gene Sperling, Counselor to the Secretary of Treasury
  • Jared Bernstein, Chief Economist to Vice President Biden
  • Edward Montgomery, Senior Advisor, Department of Labor
  • Lisa Heinzerling, Senior Climate Policy Counsel to the EPA Administrator
  • Austan Goolsbee, Staff Director and Chief Economist of the Economic Recovery Advisory Board
  • Dan Utech, Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Energy
  • Heather Zichal, Deputy Director, White House Office of Energy and Climate Change
  • Joan DeBoer, Chief of Staff, Department of Transportation
  • Rick Wade, Senior Advisor, Department of Commerce

The American taxpayer has already stepped up to provide GMAC with $5 billion of TARP so it can continue to allow GM to sell more cars at a $2,000 loss per car says http://seekingalpha.com/article/122787-as-gm-goes-so-goes-the-nation-part-2 and going on to note that GM has lost up wards of $72 Billion, with a B, dollars in the last three years.

B also stands for bribery.  Maybe Wagoner should go, but to leave at the governments request instead of a shareholder mandate is just another nail in coffin of capitalism.  We’ll give you the money honey,  but you have to do what we say.  Bribery is a kind word, I’d call it pimping, slaving or whoring under Obama’s socialism.

Generous Motors, er- General Motors… where as GM goes, so goes the nation.  The best outlook on it all so far comes in the form of a comment from http://seekingalpha.com/article/122787-as-gm-goes-so-goes-the-nation-part-2 — and I hope he/she is right in taking a different view of GM, …” expect them to return to profitability sometime in 2010, unless SAAR remains under 11M. GM spent a ton on worldwide platforms that are now the envy of the world. Their product launches over the last few years have been awesome, and into the future are just fantastic. If the economy wouldn’t have tanked, GM would already be reporting a profit. We’re earning 5% interest on our bridge loan to GM, which will, at worst, begin to be paid back in 2012, and if SAAR returns to 15B or up, much faster. The business moves that GM has made over the last five years or so have put GM in a much better competitive position. Of course, you’ll have to ask our government why they even allowed Japanese manufacturers in this country decades ago, when Japan doesn’t reciprocate, basically closing their 3 million car market to U.S. Manufacturers. Ask our government how they expected the domestic manufactures to compete with health benefits placed squarely on the companies back, while the Japanese have their benefits completely subsided by their government. It may not look like it for awhile longer, but the future is bright for GM. When America begins to buy cars again, and they will, then the GM recovery and return to profitability will shortly follow. Look for GM’s market share, relative to the market, to actually increase this year.”

Hey, my GMC truck still burns less carbons than Pelosi’s jet or Obama’s new helicopter any day.

For the record, Roger Moore can kiss the pin stripes on my American manufactured truck.

Go ahead and comment, you know you want to.

To think that Madoff pulled off the biggest ponzi scam is laughable.  It is the U.S. government under Obama, and the actions of Secretary Geithner who responsible for the loss of billions of our tax dollars and quite possibly the end of America’s dominance.

“Money, so they say, it the root of all evil today,” Pink Floyd.  Some say the root of all evil is the Illuminati who’s symbol of power is the Pyramid. The same pyramid that is on our current dollar with it’s “All seeing eye.”

The Illuminati remain invisible, either because they don’t exist or because the puppet strings of control can be explained and rationally dismissed.

One site explains the Illuminati like this, “They are the Invisible Ones, the Powers That Be, the Men of Knowledge, the Secret Masters. Lords of the Conspiracy and Kings of This Earth. http://www.sjgames.com/pyramid/sample.html?id=5708 It goes on to say that they are people, “Who have been granted visions and power far beyond those of lesser men.”  Kind of like aliens, gnomes, spirits and having unnatural features?  I don’t buy into Obama being a Klingon, but based his actions, I am becoming increasingly alarmed at the power and control we seem so ready to give up.

The “All Seeing Eye” on top of the pyramid is a metaphor for control of everything beneath it.  Pelosi, Geithner, the Democratic lead Congress and Senate, and Obama are out of control, authorizing billions and trillions of dollars that have not been printed.  Talk about a ponzi!  They are making each of us more reliable on the government and giving government more control over her citizens. Even Joe The Plumber tried to give warnings about socialism.

China, Germany, the U.N. and others are now calling for a new “international reserve currency”, lessing dependence of the dollar and U.S. economy.  Timothy Geithner’s response?  He is “quite open” to the suggestion to remove the greenback.  The dollar dropped so did stocks.  Later he flip-flopped, passively saying, “The dollar remains the world’s dominant reserve currency. I think that’s likely to continue for a long time.”

The WSJ wrote http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123802521198942455.html , ” The dollar’s status as a reserve currency gives the U.S. enormous advantages, and it should be protected ferociously by our public officials.”  I’d hardly call Geithner statement ferocious.

I am wagging my finger in shame at our public officials.  It is a travesty that there is not more outrage from them or from people. Is everyone so busy standing in unemployment lines, texting, and chatting not see that this great nation could be headed for catastrophe?  It is time to turn off the TV, cancel the subscription to the Times and start reading, China Daily where you’d find out that China’s military is developing longer-range ballistic missiles, one’s that could reach the U.S.   Not reported in the Main Stream Media, Chinese vessels this month confronted a US Navy spy ship in China’s exclusive economic zone in the South China Sea.  http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/2009-03/27/content_7621290.htm

Barackstar’s cult like status has redefined control.   His ability to direct attention and double speak on issues has resulted in Americans being so absorbed by the distraction, that they can not see what is truly going on.  Geithner has reiterated he too needs more legal means of control to seize private businesses.

“Like a magician who reaches into his pocket to grab a coin no one suspects his true reason is to hide the dollar bill he had just palmed in his hand.” writes Dantalion Jones at  http://www.mindcontrol101.com/article_16.html

There is no magician in front of me.  My pockets, bank and security accounts have been emptied by the pickpockets and ponzi’s of our elected officials.

House Resolution 875, or the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009, was introduced by Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., in February. DeLauro’s husband, Stanley Greenburg, works for Monsanto – the world’s leading producer of herbicides and genetically engineered seed.

HR 875/SR425 is the bill that gives the government more control over our food and pesticides and appears to violate the 10th amendment at the same time.  The 10th is the one that specifies that “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people

Ck out the legislation here at http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/F?c111:1:./temp/~c111UkEuSz:e5014:

Perhaps not intended, but maybe so- HR 875’s legislation is so vague that someone with a backyard garden could see a fine and potentially have their property seized by the governments newest proposed administration, “The Food Safety Administration.”  Currently, the Food and Drug Administration, {FDA} is an agency within the Department of Health and Human Services, has regulatory jurisdiction over the safety and labeling of 80 percent of the American food supply, encompassing all foods except meat, poultry, and egg products, as well as drugs, medical devices, and biologics.  I wonder if Michelle Obama’s White House Garden is in compliance?

This is more than just an approach to stop disgusting, contaminated peanut butter factories and regulate the likes of super food producers like Tyson, Monsanto, ADM, and distributors like Cysco.  Had the FDA enforced the violations it found in the Georgia peanut factory in the first place, hundreds would not have been sickened or died.

HR 875 will put organic foods and organic marketers at risk. What is the chance that they would be able to keep up with the broad demands this legislation entails including, the list of pesticides and fertilizers.  Forget the  the organic market out in the country, a street vendor selling home grown tomatoes, or a tomato from your own garden.  Reminds me of  the movie, ” The Godfather,” when every time there is an orange in the scene, someone dies.  What is dying with HR875, is the little guys effort to compete against large food growers, processors and distributors.

In a further erosion of individual States rights, the bill would legally bind States agriculture to enforce federal guidelines and it seems to stretch all the way into wild game like deer, turkey.  Shouldn’t hunters be concerned?

“Theres also a chance that as this bill moves through Congressman Waxman’s Energy and Commerce Committee, he could use it as a vehicle for attacking the Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act of 1994 which defends our access to dietary supplements,” writes the Rumor Mills at http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?noframes;read=142795.  What, no more Flintstone Vitamins?  No more Z-cam or C for colds? Certainly the big pharmaceutical companies would have a vested interests in the elimination of over the counter vitamins.  Pharma would rather see a prescription issued for one of their own manufactured pills.

Section 204 of the legislation, “Not later than 6 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall publish in the Federal Register a list of the contaminants in foods that have the greatest adverse impact on public health in terms of the number and severity of illnesses and number of deaths associated with foods regulated under this Act.”  Here come the food police and the hunt will be on.  I think we all, already know eating raw or undercooked shell fish can kill you.

Currently in existence is CODEX ALIMENTARIUS, with 181 countries now participating .  The Codex Alimentarius Commission was created in 1963 by FAO and WHO to develop food standards, guidelines and related texts such as codes of practice under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Program. The main purposes of this Program are protecting health of the consumers and ensuring fair trade practices in the food trade, and promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations. http://www.codexalimentarius.net/web/index_en.jsp

Arguing against, “Codex is one component in a much larger population control, and societal control agenda. Food Control (and Nutrient Control) = People Control, says http://www.nocodexgenocide.com/page/page/3113334.htm.

Under the guise of increased security, the has the FDA is working via the Trilateral Cooperation Charter http://www.fda.gov/oia/charter.html to harmonize the food and drug regulations between the US, Canada and Mexico.

WaPo reported that Obama will ask Congress for $1 billion in new funds to add inspectors and modernize laboratories.  $1 billion more of our tax dollars going to the government.   Ugggghhhh. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/03/14/AR2009031401600.html

HR 875/S425 may just be like the bailout, TARP and Recovery legislation, no one has read it.  I’d bet the legislation was written by lobbyists and industry experts who, in the long run don’t really care about keeping food safe, only profits and putting the little guy out of business.
