Cassini, January 12 day of Haiti Quake-The Extraterrestial Search

       Science is again proving  the existence of extraterrestial life on earth.  We have never seen an alien or God, but in the absence of the appearance of both- still believe in both.  Putting aside religion, Scientific American author Paul Davies began to ease the world into the real possibility when he wrote, Are Aliens Among Us? in December 2007.  http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=are-aliens-among-us   

 Davies, an award winning Arizona State University Physicist was back in the news this week asking, “How do we know all life on Earth descended from a single origin, speaking at London’s Royal Society.  http://royalsociety.org/Is-there-anybody-out-there/   What will aliens look like if we find them? Will we be meeting life-forms incredibly similar to ourselves? Or will they be the frightful monsters of sci-fi films? How do you break news of alien discoveries to the world without creating wide-spread pandemonium? These are just some of the questions that will be discussed at a two-day conference starting today (Monday 25 January) at The Royal Society in London. The discussion meeting The detection of extra-terrestrial life and the consequences for science and society is the first to take place in the Royal Society’s 350th anniversary year.

Should it turn out that we are not alone in the Universe, it will fundamentally affect how humanity understands itself and we need to be prepared for what will follow. ”

Cassini spotted “something” in the sky at location 19 25 12-89 46 03, light years away from our South Pole, but close to Saturn’s South Pole.  If you visit http://www.sky-map.org/ you can plug in to coordinates to see, well- something.  The weird thing is if you put in the same coordinates into Goto Maps.Google.com  at http://maps.google.com/  and zoom in, where do you think you’ll land?  You will land at The Mayan Temples of Hochob, deep in the Campeche jungle of Mexico, located at the exact coordinates where the a supposed UFO is located million of miles away.        

Back to God.  In “2000 b.c. Peru’s Inca civilization. Pre-Inca, like the Maya said the gods were from the star system “pleiades” just as the Sumerians did. Inca ruins have been found at 13,000 feet, with one stone weighing 20,000 tons. Legend tells of spaceships that came from the stars. Inca ornaments of “platinum” were found. As Davies points out, some of the best places to look for alternative life-forms are ecologically isolated niches such as ocean-bottom volcanic vents and the dry valleys of Antarctica.  The Haiti earthquake has presented a unique opportunity for science and possibly extraterrestrials as well.

Nine hundred and ninety-nine is the natural number following following nine hundred ninety-eight and preceding one thousand. It is also a  Kaprekar number. For example, 999 is a Kaprekar number for base 10, because 999² = 998001, which can be split into 998 and 001, and 998 + 001 = 999.  It is also the largest 3 digit whole number in base 10. The Year 999 (CMXCIX) was a common year of the Julian Calendar. 

Seeing as the Devil is a sneaky deceiver, will 999,  September 9, 2009 be a day of prophecy?  999 upside down is 666.

Martial Law Under Public Health Emergency

Could civil unrest and Martial Law really come to The  U.S. in light of the Flu Pandemic or some other catastrophe?

This ad comes to us from the folks at MTV from a few years ago.  Why MTV, and why purpose did the commercial have?  Certainly there are better means to educate society about the Holocaust than this. 

Are the producers trying to issue a sort of public service announcement in advance of H.R. 675?  http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h675/text  Sec. 1585b of the  bill would  amend Title 10 of US Code to extends to civilian employees of the Department of Defense the authority to execute warrants, make arrests, and carry firearms for any offense against the U.S.  Is this just another loophole to create more federal authority and a federal police force? 

Remember The Posse Comitatus Act? It is supposed to limit the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement, but it has been abandoned  for all intents as we now have active duty troops stationed on our soil to defend us against each other.  Soldiers were so kind to even help out at the Boston Marathon.  Military deployment and collaboration with local law enforcement agents is now common place since incidents like Katrina,  with check and balances against corruption gone like the city of New Orleans was. 

The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.R._5122_(2006)   changed federal law so that a Governor of a state was  no longer the sole commander in chief of their state’s National Guard, a direct violation of Article I, Section 10 and Clause 3 of the Constitution. It also allowed the President to declare a public emergency and station the military anywhere in America and take control of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or local authorities. Lyrids Meteor Shower, Obama’s X-File Politics

The sky isn’t falling.  Or is it?   Putting aside the doom and gloom of economics and politics, tonight is the start of the annual Lyrids Meteor Shower http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyrids .  Every year in April the Earth passes throughout the tail of Comet Thantcher (C/1861 G1) resulting in the impression of shooting stars reigning down from the heavens.  At the same time, the crescent Moon and Venus will converge for a close encounter in the eastern sky. Viewed from some parts of the world, the Moon will pass directly in front of Venus, causing Venus to vanish.  Cool.

Venus is Vanishing?!?  I wonder if anyone would have believed Chicken Little if he would have made the same claim?  Chicken Little had a little credibility problem like so many bloggers who post theories and conspiracies, but I don’t happen to think that all of them are nuts- just a few.  So what’s the difference between foretelling of a One World Order, a 2012 doomsday, and Venus disappearing during a meteor shower?    

In the Bible, 2 Peter warned believers against false teachers, mostly mocking the prospect of Christ’s return.  1:12 – “I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.”  For the modern day response-  “The truth is out there.  You can ask, but it’s not my job to answer,” David Duchovny of X-files fame.

We have scientific truth and evidence for many things, but not everything.  It is in our inherent nature as humans to seek out the truth, weed out the bad squirrels and bury the nuts- so to speak. We need to listen to new ideas, but remember the old truths.  Sometimes the fortune tellers are correct and so are scientists Giampaolo Guiliani who predicted the recent Central Italy Earthquakes and noted physicist Dr.Giuliano Panza http://www.ictp.trieste.it/pages/organization/headsand.html  who continues seismic research.

Some phenomena is inexplicable ( like how people actually voted for Obama) but, experts agree that the best time to look for the Lyrids Meteor is in the dark hours of April 23rd, before dawn where we can anticipate 10 to 20 visible meteors per hour.
