Monday morning madness. School, work, farm, the usual until we grab our tinfoil hat.

And we see a giant circle of no condensation on one of our windows in the living room! By most standards this a big room w big windows w 2 double hung on each side. From the outside the circle was maybe 18 feet up, as there is a deep window well beneath.

It was 42 degrees outside, 68 inside and all the windows were covered with exterior moisture except one spot that formed a circle a little larger than a human head – an alien head? Have to be one tall alien. Was someone or thing watching us?

What would make a circle on window and not the others? The sun wasn’t up yet to warm the windows. So what was the heat source to make the circle?

The washing of the windows has been on the honey do list for a long time. Even if they were clean, doubtful that cleaning them would lead to such a spot.

Time to take the tinfoil hat off and go wash windows.

Aluminum and Fluoride, Tin Foil or Tinfoil? Leave Your Conspiracy Hat On

Do you spell it tinfoil or tin foil?  Does it really matter when it references a good conspiracy?

Allegedly in the 1970’s the U.S. government tried to cover up a ration-wave thought control program.  The rumor was that people could  shield government propaganda by wearing a tinfoil hat.  In all probability, a tinfoil hat would probably improve reception of mind control and surveillance by various supernatural, conspiratorial, government  organizations-if it exists.  Tinfoil today is primarily made of aluminum.  Here is a rant on the aluminum conspiracy in chemtrails and in our lives. https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2012/03/27/chemtrails-released-by-nasa-rocket-launch/

Still a leading brand of tinfoil, Reynolds Wrap was manufactured by Reynolds Metal.  In 2000, Alcoa Metals acquired by Reynolds Metals to the tune of $5.8 billion dollars.  Alcoa is the acronym for Aluminum Company of America and was founded in 1988 in Pittsburgh, PA under the name The Pittsburgh Reduction Company.

What the government giveth, it shall take away.

During WWII the government financed new plants that were built and run by Alcoa.  As the war ended the need for an excess supply diminished, the government sold the plants at discount prices to Permanente Metals owned by Henry Kaiser and to Reynolds Metal.  In effect Alcoa bought back its own plants some 50 years later. How’s that for Karma? You can read more of the history here http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/Alcoa-Inc-Company-History.html

One of the waste products of aluminum is fluoride.  Fluoride is also created by the fertilizer industries. (http://www.fluoridealert.org/phosphate/overview.htm) Aluminum is used in all sorts of products from screen doors to vaccines. While you may associate fluoride with drinking water and a trip to the dentist, it is likely in your beer and juices too.  Dare we say kool-aid?

So where is the conspiracy?  It begins in communism and Russia.

…hysterical fear of adding fluoride to water “manifested in, among other things, anticommunism and antifluoridation” .  This implies that the government subversion conspiracy subconsciously followed the normal societal patterns….

Antifluoridationists ignored logical fallacies and skewed evidence in order to create a conspiracy that predated the endorsement of fluoridation.  In 1957, Oliver Kenneth Goff published a notarized statement discussing his 1939 testimony before the House of Un-American Activities Committee.  In the statement, Goff said Communist Party leaders had discussed fluoridation as a method to “keep the general public docile during a steady encroachment of Communism” (H, 3).  According to Goff, the Party discussed using fluoridation as a tool to “either kill off the populace or threaten them with liquidation, so that they would surrender to obtain fresh water” (H, 3).  After its publication, antifluoridationists began citing Goff’s statement and HUAC testimony as proof of a malicious Communist conspiracy.  https://eee.uci.edu/programs/humcore/students/huberpaper.htm

We’re far from hysterical but what other nefarious conspiracy could there be? The book, Conspiracy theories in American history: an encyclopedia, Volume 1  by Peter Knight references:

 1. Weaken mental capabilities allowing docile citizens to embrace communism and a political takeover

2.  A pure military invasion where Russians sneak into the U.S. to poison water

3.  Flouridation would cause cancers killing a large population and rendering a smaller military

4.  The sugar industry who would embrace it as a way to encourage eating more sweets

5.  For the aluminum industry it was a means of skirting the EPA as a way of disposal

Put summarily-

Fluoride is a pollutant – a by-product of copper, iron and aluminum manufacturing. The problem of how to legally dispose of fluoride was solved in the 1930’s when a study (funded by one of the country’s largest aluminum companies) concluded that fluoride prevented tooth decay. A successful public relations effort, helped along with some cooperative government cronies, resulted in the good news going out: this miracle chemical, when added to water supplies, will give everyone healthy teeth and brighter smiles. http://www.globalhealingcenter.com/health-hazards-to-know-about/where-the-yellow-went

Fluoride remains in most drinking water and like Obamacare, national health care has increased government intervention in daily life.

Fluoride is implicated in the reduced ability to procreate. Therefore the fluoridation policy is social engineering on a large scale. Although it is not admitted by Governments throughout the fluoridation world, fluoride is a good way of preventing more births. http://cotocrew.wordpress.com/2012/03/28/beyond-the-hunger-games-engineering-depopulation/

Social Engineering?  What?  Like in the Hunger Games movie?  What? Like providing free birth control to reduce populations? What? Like mandatory vaccines? What? Like GMO seeds? etc.

Anyway, more recently, Alcoa was worried about EU tariffs on Russian aluminium exports.  Read the story how men like Rothchild, Mendelson, Deripaska continue to influence big business. http://politicalvelcraft.org/2012/03/22/uks-rothschild-loses-puppet-master-libel-case-rare-legally-documented-insight-into-the-conspiracy-of-the-richest-1-nwo-puppet-masters/Is there a real threat?

Who really knows?  As for surveillance by various supernatural, conspiratorial, government  organizations- well, that’s what the iphone and internet can do.  Go ahead and check in- let everyone know exactly where and what you are doing.  Be sure to leave your location setting on!

We’re still not throwing out our tinfoil hat, besides- it is rather handsome.  We have switched to spring water and baking soda toothpaste.   Just in case.

Stay tuned and have a good day, one day it will be your last.  God Bless.

Is conspiracy theory nothing more than cognitive dissonance?

Cognitive dissonance is an uncomfortable feeling caused by holding contradictory ideas simultaneously. The theory of cognitive dissonance proposes that people have a motivational drive to reduce dissonance. They do this by changing their attitudes, beliefs, and actions.[2] Dissonance is also reduced by justifying, blaming, and denying. It is one of the most influential and extensively studied theories in social psychology. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_dissonance

What is the motivational drive behind conspiracy?  I’d say it is to ask questions, validate truth, challenge the unknown, suspect what is known in order to come to the conclusion that sometimes, Situation Normal is All F‘kd Up- SNAFU. Wired magazine had this to say,

Although we’re all vulnerable to cognitive dissonance – and the paranoid style has always been a loud presence in American politics – we seem to squander ever more time on worthless conversations about Obama’s birth certificate or the spurious link between autism and vaccines. After all, thanks to Google we can find “evidence” in support of practically any belief. If you can imagine the conspiracy theory, there is a website out there ardently promoting it, and a clan of fellow believers who share your peculiar obsession with fluoridated drinking water and the New World Order. http://derrenbrown.co.uk/blog/2010/08/psychology-conspiracy-theories/

I am pretty sure that cognitive dissonance is not paranoia.  It is rather, a justifiable means of exploring what someone else defines as the truth.  To say that it is worthless to seek out the President of the United States birth origin or find a connection with vaccine use and autism, I find rather appalling.  Hardly a waste of time as a U.S. Citizen or for a parent of a child with autism.

Can cognitive dissonance be familial?  I believe so.   Last night our family went for a late night swim under some raindrops.  There was a low ceiling and what was clearly an airplane to the adults, was not so obvious to one of the children who proclaimed, “Look a UFO!”   We’ve talked about the possibility of UFO’s, aliens and the like,  and in doing so I wonder if we did not preclude them to cognitive dissonance- we believe and so do they.

Throw religion into the mix.  We are Catholic, conservative Republicans and so are our children.   A product of upbringing or ?

The grandparents instilled cognitive dissonance and I suspect we are passing it on too.  We justify good, bad, heaven, hell, what is acceptable, what is the norm, what is a conspiracy and what is reality.  Is not uncomfortable by any means to put on the tinfoil hat, unless of course there is a lightening storm.

The idea of “sour grapes” comes from the fable The Fox and the Grapes by Aesop (ca. 620–564 BCE). The fox is unable to reach the grapes, and, experiencing cognitive dissonance, reduces that dissonance by believing the grapes are sour. This example follows a pattern: one desires something, finds it unattainable, and reduces one’s dissonance by criticizing it. Jon Elster calls this pattern “adaptive preference formation.” -wiki

Maybe “adaptive preference formation” is nothing more than the brain justifying what it can’t have or processing what it is that we believe, or want to believe.

I happen to like a good conspiracy.  It helps me stay on my toes, to not take things for granted, to question, to learn, to share insights.  Too not be scared when a UFO lands on my farm!

The question is whether there is a parallel to be made with the individual level, where society would also influence the shape of the phenomenon, so that the interaction is also mutual at the sociological level? For instance, during the 1896-97 airship wave in United States (and Canada), the phenomenon was first described as strange lights in the sky, but it was reported by the press, nationwide, as “airships”. Could the social expectations to see an airship in the sky influenced the phenomenon so that it took an airship shape in the days and months that ensued? http://parasociology.blogspot.com/

Surely someone can come up with a theory for anything, but numerous conspiracy theories have come true.

The JFK assassination plot, aliens crash landing at Roswell, the 9/11 truth movement and charges of government surveillance are all an indelible part of our pop culture landscape and are by and large, total bullshit. So where does your average conspiracy buff go to learn about shadowy plots that aren’t pure tinfoil hattery? Look no further than: http://www.cracked.com/article_15974_7-insane-conspiracies-that-actually-happened.html#ixzz0vqRVK921

Valkyrie and MKULTRA actually did exist, maybe they still do with different players today.

There is no conspiracy behind the fact that you have to, “Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” –Lucille Ball, actress and comedienne, born today in 1911.

Does cognitive dissonance allow for a conspiracy that it’s okay to love someone else, convinced that they love you back, while you love yourself?

I love it, and a good conspiracy too.

Eruption May 19, 2010

Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull Volcano Eruption Ends May 24, 2010

Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull volcano eruption, “seems to be dormant,” according to Icelandic Meteorological Office, Office of Earth Sciences and the University of Iceland.  http://en.vedur.is/media/jar/Eyjafjallajokull_status_2010-05-24_IES_IMO.pdf

There is no ashfall being reported although there is still some steam and the earthquakes have subsided a bit.  We are still seeing seismic activity creeping towards Katla as we reported previously this week at https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2010/05/22/icelands-katla-volcano-recent-earthquakes/ There were two mild tremors detected in the last 24 hours near the Katla volcano.

Earthquakes Subsiding, May 25, 2010

Who turned off the volcano’s switch?  A few days ago there was no end in sight.

Scientists have several ways of forecasting when the Eyjafjallajökull eruption will stop. But their data – and history – suggest the Iceland volcano’s ash cloud could persist for some time…The rumblings of small earthquakes can suggest that magma is still welling up from the bowels of the earth, feeding the eruption. The distension of the mountain itself – measured through global positioning system devices – can also provide hints as to whether the volcano is swelling or deflating.   As of last week, scientists were still measuring dozens of small earthquakes beneath the volcano, suggesting that no end was in sight. http://www.truthout.org/iceland-volcano-ash-cloud-when-will-eyjafjallaj%C3%B6kull-eruption-stop59600

“There is still something going on inside, some tremors, it is possible it could erupt again, but when is a question nobody can answer,” said Jonsson Thorsteinn am Iceland Met forecaster. http://www.cnn.com/2010/TRAVEL/05/24/volcanic.ash.cloud.dormant/index.html

No end in sight but something is going on inside?  Maybe something is going on outside.  HAARP, CERN, FERMI and similar particle physics labs were doing the usual.  There were no reports out of the ordinary unless, you call teleportation ordinary.

Bob and Alice Photons Teleport 10 Miles

Scientists in China have succeeded in teleporting information between photons further than ever before. They transported quantum information over a free space distance of 16 km (10 miles), much further than the few hundred meters previously achieved, which brings us closer to transmitting information over long distances without the need for a traditional signal.http://www.physorg.com/news193551675.html

Could it transmit a signal deep into the earth to cause an earthquake?   Could the energy of a photon, atom or a HAARP array have the power to move energy from one volcano to another? Say to maybe Costa Rica?

The Arenal volcano in Costa Rica erupted as Iceland’s volcano quieted, blowing emissions of ash and causing eight avalanches. http://topnews.us/content/220556-costa-ricas-arenal-volcano-erupts-monday-morning

(PhysOrg.com) http://www.physorg.com/news193990952.html — By demonstrating how a single artificial atom can be used to amplify electromagnetic waves, physicists from Japan are opening up new possibilities for quantum amplifiers, which can be used in a variety of electronic and optical applications.

Amplified electromagnetic waves?!?   We already know HAARP’s high-frequency radio waves can accelerate electrons in the atmosphere, increasing the energy of their collisions.  https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2009/10/16/earthquake-haarp-connection-evidence/  Now we are now talking about an Atom possibly having the same ability to amplify electromagnetic waves, if not into the atmosphere certainly here on earth..

Modern Conspiracy wrote:

Bear in mind that some of the droughts, floods, weather extremes, earthquakes, violent storms, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions and so on are artificially induced by miscreants. These artificial geological activities are exacerbating the situation as the Earth is nearing the final stages of implosion. http://www.modernconspiracy.com/end-days/811-physical-universe-collapsing-physics-being-altered.html

Maybe the author is right, maybe he is wrong.  Should we just take off our tinfoil hats and be happy that a major volcanic eruption in Iceland just stopped?

Can’t help but thinking:

David Rockefeller said, “All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.” Rahm Emanuel said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” In the Project for a New American Century document Rebuilding America’s Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century we find the following: “Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor. http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/

For now, one catalyzing event that grounded air travel over much of Europe seems to be over.  Too bad we can’t teleport in time to fix a whole lot of what is wrong in the world.

Mount St. Helen's Eruption May 18, 1980. (Nat. Geo)

Mount Saint Helen’s volcano erupted thirty years ago today-May 18, 1980.  “The devastation erupted so violently that it leveled 150 square miles of trees, sent the mountain’s north face 14 miles down the Toutle River and dropped gray ash around the world.”  http://www.usatoday.com/NEWS/usaedition/2010-05-17-mtsthelens17_ST_U.htm?csp=34

The destruction began at 8:32 a.m. on May 18, when the north side of the mountain slid away after two months of intense earthquake activity and weaker eruptions. The landslide uncorked pressurized magma and released a blast so powerful that 1,300 feet of the mountain’s peak collapsed or blew outward, 24 square miles of valley was filled by a debris avalanche, 250 square miles of land was damaged by a lateral blast, and 57 people were killed.

Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull began the eruption in the same way, with an increase an increase of earthquake activity.  Eya continues to erupt and cause disruptions, but no one has died and the lava has not spread 150 miles of devastation.  Eya is holding us hostage,  not sending us running for cover-at least not yet.

It is Iceland’s other major volcano’s that are becoming increasingly the center of debate.  Scientists are predicting  decades of ash disruptions and predictions of eruptions from Katla, which lies only 15 miles to the east of Eyjafjallajokull volcanic eruptions.

Lo and behold there was a quake beneath both Hekla on May 16 and Katla, May 17. via The Ice Met Office.  Uh, oh.

An eruption at Katla would cause very sudden jökulhlaups (glacier outburst floods).  They occurred during the subglacial eruption in Eyjafjallajökull volcano but have slowed.  Katla’s ice crater is estimated to be 2,000 feet thick and if she blows, that ice is going to melt fast and quickly wiping out everything in it’s path.  It is the fourth largest volcano in Iceland -220 sq. miles (580 sq. km). A large caldera 9 miles (14 km) in diameter underlies the ice.

At least three other big Icelandic volcanoes are building towards an eruption, according to Thor Thordarson, a volcanologist at Edinburgh University.  The three other volcanoes cited by Thordarson as being potentially close to a large eruption are Grimsvotn, Hekla and Askja — all of which are bigger than Eyjafjallajokull. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article7127706.ece

Looking ever so peaceful, is the Hekla crater in this 2008 photo by David Adamson. http://picasaweb.google.com/thunder.son Hekla is 75 miles (120 km) east of Reykjavik and last erupted in 2000.

The Institute of Earth Sciences reports, “Hekla is a volcano with special seismic characteristics. During non-eruptive periods it is virtually aseismic, and does not give any obvious long-term or intermediate-term precursory warning before eruptions. The eruption-related seismicity starts only 30-80 minutes before its onset.  http://www.earthice.hi.is/page/ies_heklaseismicity

Mount St. Helen’s and Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull volcanic eruptions gave obvious seismic warning signs far ahead.  A quiet Hekla poses a huge challenge for predictability, warnings and safety.

There is perhaps no other natural disaster quite as spectacular or potentially as destructive as that of an erupting volcano. Spewing out ash and magma that can kill a human in seconds, unleashing toxic gases from the belly of the planet, a volcano is truly nature’s fury unleashed. http://scrapetv.com/News/News%20Pages/usa/pages-4/Climber-unexpectedly-dies-after-falling-into-volcano-Scrape-TV-The-World-on-your-side.html

Human curiosity via webcams and tours to view volcano’s are common. Falling to your death in one is not so common. In February 2010, Joseph Bohlig posed for a picture with Mount Rainier in the background when he turned around and took a final step on the cornice and fell to his death.

Though the connections go down pretty often, I’ll stick to the webcams at:

link to sv.tinypic.com]  [link to eldgos.mila.is]  [link to www.ruv.is]  [link to www.vodafone.is] [link to www.mulakot.net] [link to www.sat24.com]  “We have limited TV footage of the volcanic eruption. It’s all the same shots, and the same angles. Surely there must be something new to show? And there was a shot of a car in a dust cloud. Easily staged, and the only “evidence” of dust,” wrote  http://citizengodden.com/2010/04/16/iceland-volcanic-cloud-conspiracy/.

Putting our tinfoil hat back on, we search for any connections between natural physical science and the possibility of man causing volcano’s, earthquakes, tsunami’s and related disasters.  A cover-up of some sort?  An intervention with HAARP, ESCAT, CERN, etc., and quite possibly the impact on Earth’s magnetosphere from the atmosphere all offer some plausibility.  Others would say, God is just ticked off, that some catastrophes are just an, “Act of God.”

One thing for sure, volcano’s and magma’s muscle put humility in man and the power beneath our planet.

NASA Sends Mom's Flowers From Space

Outside the ground is frozen, quite possibly covered in snow and ice, and yet, stroll through a supermarket in North America or Europe in February, and you’ll be confronted with large displays of roses. We expect flowers in winter, and equatorial countries meet those expectations. A quarter of the cut flowers sold in Europe are grown in Kenya. Straddling the equator, Kenya gets steady sunlight dealt out in days that vary little in length. It’s the perfect climate for flowers year-round. The center of Kenya’s flower industry is Lake Naivasha, shown here.

The Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) flying on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this image of Lake Naivasha on February 2, 2008. Bright white squares mix with fields of green, tan, and purple along the shores of the lake. Sunlight glints off the long rows of glass greenhouses, turning them silvery blue and white in this view from space.

Fallow fields are tan and pink, while growing plants turn the ground bright green. Roses, lilies, and carnations are the most common flowers grown in the greenhouses and fields scattered around the lake. The large-scale industry shown here extends into small-scale rural farms elsewhere in Kenya, where smaller filler flowers are grown.

The flowers provide an important source of income to Kenya, but the industry comes with a price. Flowers are not held to the same standards for chemical residues as food products, which are tightly regulated. Strong chemical pesticides can be used on the flowers to produce the perfect, pest-free bloom, and this could pose a health risk to workers and local wildlife, including hippos, environmental groups told the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 2002. The chemicals may also have threatened the water quality of Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s few freshwater lakes. The Kenya Flower Council instituted a code of conduct establishing guidelines for pesticide that phases out the use of one of the most toxic pesticides.

This year I sent roses to my mom via Proflowers.  Perfect delivery, perfect flowers as promised. Will use them again!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mom’s.  Thanks for letting us wear our tinfoil hats and still loving us.
