virus-mutation-200

The H1N1 Swine Flu virus is mutating. You can get Swine Flu not just once, but twice and maybe even a third, fourth, fifth or more times.  From personal experience, one of our kids has had H1N1 Swine Flu twice.  It isn’t nice, nor are the remedies.

Episode 1, 103 degree fever, no vomiting or diarrhea, congestion, respiratory distress, lethargy, no appetite, and the Swine Flu Rash.  https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2009/10/19/swine-flu-rash-hives-symptoms/  Took about a week to recover, but has kept the cough.  Tylenol, Acetaminophen, cough syrup, albuterol inhaler prescribed.

Episode 2, three weeks later.  A low grade fever at 100 degrees lasts 3 days. No vomiting or diarrhea, lethargy, appetite okay, no Swine Flu Rash.  Three days after the fever breaks, the respiratory distress requires a trip to the doctor.  Prescribed Prednisone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prednisone), a steroid to reduce inflammation and Cefuroxime, an antibiotic.

Cefuroxime or CEFTIN as it more commonly known, is prescribed to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.  By now we all know the toxic ingredients in the H1N1 Vaccine.  The approved U.S. Vaccine patient insert, warnings and toxic ingredients here, https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2009/09/27/h1n1-swine-flu-vaccine-package-insert-warnings/  CEFTIN’s ingredients are equally disturbing:

CEFTIN Tablets contain the inactive ingredients colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hydrogenated vegetable oil, hypromellose, methylparaben, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol, propylparaben, sodium benzoate, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide.   http://www.rxlist.com/ceftin-drug.htm

Titanium dioxide, WARNING! MAY CAUSE IRRITATION TO SKIN, EYES, AND RESPIRATORY TRACT. MAY AFFECT LUNGS. SUSPECT CANCER HAZARD. CONTAINS TITANIUM DIOXIDE, WHICH MAY CAUSE CANCER. Risk of cancer depends on level and duration of exposure. http://www.jtbaker.com/msds/englishhtml/t3627.htm  It is also the controversial ingredient in sunscreens and other products – http://www.organicmakeup.ca/TitaniumDioxide.htm

Medicine and vaccines can not keep up with the rate of disease and viral mutation.   Take this little pill, inject this little vaccine, jeesh- if a disease doesn’t kill you certainly the ingredients might.

 swine deaths

The CDC has reported that the Swine Flu deaths are primarily being caused by secondary bacterial infections like pneumonia.  “Tests on about 100 Americans who died from swine flu virus found that they had infections deep in their lungs, which caused acute respiratory distress syndrome. “Often fatal, it fills the air sacs with fluid, starves the blood of oxygen and leaves patients gasping for breath. Basically, patients suffocate or drown.” http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2009/09/cdc-swine-flu-causing-deadly-lung-infections-like-avian-virus.html?csp=34  Clearly some patients are suffering worse symptoms compared to those with a normal seasonal flu.  http://www.swinefluheadlines.com/2009/09/how-swine-flu-works-it-infects-cells-deep-in-the-lungs/

Physicians like Dr. Mudassar Chaudry, an infectious disease expert with Lewis Gale Medical Center had this to say:

Even if a lab test confirms you do indeed have swine flu, that doesn’t mean you can’t get it again.  If truly it was swine flu, still the virus can mutate in the same season. You can still become ill again with a slightly different strain of the same virus. The virus can even mutate to the point it becomes resistant to anti-viral drugs like Tamiflu. So you still need the vaccine. http://www2.wsls.com/sls/lifestyles/health_med_fit/article/you_can_get_swine_flu_twice/57944/

Chaudry like most physicians, government officials, the media, and pharmaceutical companies continue to recommend the H1N1 vaccine even though they know, what you know, they don’t want you to know, ya know?  The virus that mutates, makes the vaccine useless.  This is why there are new vaccines targeting new viruses each year, and why the Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine is pretty much useless.

If a new virus is antigenically similar to the old one, it has mutated and you can be susceptible to bacterial infection, as apparently was the case for our child.  Lest we forget,  four Canadian studies  found people who had received the seasonal flu vaccine in the past were more likely to get sick with the H1N1 virus. http://www.naturalnews.com/027102_vaccines_H1N1_flu_shot.html

After analyzing multiple samples of the new flu virus, the team ascertained that in some cases the HA of the new H1N1 strain have mutated, allowing the strain to stick to human cells more easily….the same mutations have been found in HA of the H5N1 strain of influenza, the highly virulent bird flu, which kills about 60 percent of those it infects.  http://biomedreports.com/articles/most-popular/1438-h1n1-flu-has– The research team included Professor Yoshihiro Kawaoka of Tokyo University’s Institute of Medical Science. “Dr. Kawaoka is very well known for the breakthrough of artificially-made influenza, as well as for remodeling ebola virus into a safe one which increases only in particular cells. From a prior post at https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2009/09/09/swine-flu-mutating/

Asking if it is possible to catch the Swine Flu Twice, NHS in the UK says:

Yes, because the virus can mutate (change). If you become infected with the swine flu virus, your body produces antibodies against it, which will recognise and fight off the virus if the body ever encounters it again. However, if the virus mutates, your immune system may not recognise this different strain and you may become ill again, although you may have some ‘cross protection’ due to encountering a similar virus previously. http://www.nhs.uk/chq/Pages/3092.aspx?CategoryID=5&SubCategoryID=205

Cross protecting ourselves? We are making the sign of the cross that , “the third time is the charm” doesn’t apply to Swine Flu.  The doctor has given our kid the all clear to resume school and seems to be tolerating the meds okay.

BTW. Thinking about a pneumonia vaccine as insurance against lung infections from the flu?  Think again. There is evidence that like the H1N1 vaccine, the Pneumonia vaccine doesn’t work either. https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2009/10/10/h1n1-swine-pneumonia-pneumococcal-vaccine-mf59/

UPDATED-May 3, 2012.  Scientist Dies at Veteran’s Research Facility in California from rare bacteria.  He contracted a rash before dying! https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2012/05/03/deadlybacteriakills/

Original article begins-

An often unreported symptom of H1N1 Swine Flu and/or the Flu Shot is the appearance of hives and a rash.  Children and adults often get rashes as an immune response to many viruses and the swine flu being a virus, is no exception.

You can rule out other skin disorders at http://familydoctor.org/online/famdocen/home/tools/symptom/545.html

In answering questions regarding rashes and the H1N1, we found…http://www.swineflu.org/forum_posts.asp?TID=25932

“Yes, I have seen a few patients with a rash. They’ve mostly been pediatric patients, not adults. Some were taking antibiotics for possible bacterial co-infections or had high fevers at the time of presentation, so it’s sometimes hard to sort out whether the rash was due to a medication, the blotchy skin that is sometimes seen with high fever, a bacterial infection, or whether it is a direct manifestation of H1N1. From a treatment standpoint, we try to rule out secondary bacterial infections or medication reactions as causative, bring down their fever, and provide supportive care for the flu. The rash has resolved itself without event in each case.

I did a quick literature search. There have been cases of rash reported associated with past influenza epidemics. In particular, this seems to have been a manifestation of the pandemic in the 1890s. Several doctors wrote about a “scarlatiniform” rash they were seeing — a rash that looked to them like what they’d see in scarlet fever but without the other typical signs of that disease (e.g. strawberry tongue, desquamation = skin peels/flakes). Those MD comments note that the rash, if one appeared, occurred within a few hours of the onset of illness, was seen mainly in children under 8 years old, was in proportion to the fever (more fever = more rash), and usually resolved in a day or so. (Bear in mind that these comments were written before viruses were identified and before the role of secondary bacterial infections was ascertained).

Here’s one such account: http://www.bmj.com/cgi/pdf_extract/1/1787/731

A “scarlatiniform” rash is seen in the above image, http://www.lib.uiowa.edu/hardin/MD/derm … fever.html

We also found this on the Swine Flu Rash-

“If it is any help, the night the rash got really bad and her temp was highest I rang nhs direct and the lovely doctor I (eventually) spoke to said that this was likely to be her bodies ‘final battle’ with the virus. he expected her to be better by the morning.  http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/swine_flu/806681-Rash-with-swine-flu

The overwhelming majority of cases of scarlet fever are caused by group A streptococcus (GABHS). Other bacteria can cause a pharyngitis and similar rash, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Haemophilus influenzae, Arcanobacterium haemolyticum, and Clostridium species. http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/1053253-overview.

Many people who have died from H1H1 this year were also infected with pneumonia bacteria, warns the CDC.  These co-infections with a common bacteria (Streptococcus pneumoniae, or pneumococcus) likely contributed to their death, according to a report published in the CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.  Pneumonia is an inflammation of one or both lungs, usually caused by infection from a bacterium or virus.  CDC is reminding people of the importance of being vaccinated against this common bacterium and advising them to talk with their doctor. http://seniorjournal.com/Spotlights/FLU2009/20091001-SeniorsNeedPneumonia.htm

There is evidence that like the H1n1 vaccine, the Pneumonia vaccine doesn’t work either. https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2009/10/10/h1n1-swine-pneumonia-pneumococcal-vaccine-mf59/

In the U.S. PNEUMOVAX ® 23  (PNEUMOCOCCAL VACCINE POLYVALENT) is the approved  prophylaxis against pneumococcal disease. http://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_circulars/p/pneumovax_23/pneumovax_pi.pdf where there is a complete disclosure of toxic ingredients including phenol.

Could it also mean the the H1N1 is again mutating and becoming stronger?  Just coincidence? Another less reported side effect?  Is the rash caused by a fever, over the counter flu medicines, Tamiflu, etc. Part of a coinfection of bacteria?

Don’t hold your breath on any scientific tying of the symptoms together.  Guess if you or a child has an itch, scratch it.  We’re curious to know if you see a rash if you would mind adding your findings in the comment section:

Age of person with rash?

Fever present?  Temperature?

Consistent flu symptoms?

How soon after fly symptoms did rash occur?

Was there a seasonal flu vaccine?

Was thre an H1N1 or FluMist ® vaccine?

Did patients fever break and symptoms lesson/get worse after the appearance of any rash or hives?

What medicines were administered prior to the rash?

What medicines were administered after the rash?

How long did the rash last?

What worked best for you for overall treatment of the flu?

Anything else you can think of?

We just keep scratching our heads why all the neighborhood kids got the hee bee gee bees, and the flu too.  Thanks for your confidential input.

Remarkable. Watch how the Swine Flu gets released.  Amazing graphics in this is brief, 3D visualization of the influenza type-a virus’ antigenic shift.

From You Tube, “Only the influenza Type-A virus is capable of what is known as antigenic shift. The current flu in circulation is an entirely new, mutated pathogen formed from elements of human, pig, and avian virus strains.  Overflowing with mutated viruses, the respiratory epithelial host cells of the pig eventually burst open and circulate the new flu virus into the susceptible human population. ”

Maybe this visualization could be used for any type of virus, but it is amazing none-the-less.  More on the topic at —

What a bunch of double speak from not only our elected officials but, governments around the world.  I know they just don’t know, but I also think they know that we know, that they know, that we know that something is amiss.

Nearly a month ago, Mexico 1st became aware that there was a problem and was as slow as molasses to take steps to warn people of a possible health threat- similar to the Chinese who at least admitted they were negligent with SARS reporting delays in efforts to control the epidemic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Severe_acute_respiratory_syndrome

While not eliminated, the last infected human case of SARS was in June 2003.  There is no rapid response testing for SARS.  In 2003, WHO announced that “a new pathogen, a member of the coronavirus family never before seen in humans, is the cause of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)” http://www.who.int/mediacentre/news/releases/2003/pr31/en/ Here we are six years later, and we have another new pathogen never seen before that is a mutation of pig, bird, human.  Both virus’ are spread by simple human to human contact.

Canada is now reporting infected pigs. Peter Ben Embarek, a WHO food safety scientist said, “The virus that infected the pigs is the same one that is in circulation among people, and there is no indication that the transfer between species has caused the flu bug to mutate into a new or dangerous form,” Embarek said and continues to reiterate that eating pork is safe. “You can continue to safely eat your prosciutto.” http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2009-05-03-canada-flu_N.htm I wouldn’t eat a cow with mad cow disease, a chicken with avian flu, or have sex with someone who has AIDS, why would I eat the contaminated pig?

“With AIDS you have to get fu*^ed in someway; either by a contaminated parter during sex, the medical system, blood transfusions, etc., not just getting coughed on by a ill person.  There is no cure for AIDS either, and the last confirmed report of someone having AIDS was probably yesterday.  Science hasn’t cured the common cold, let alone AIDS, SARS, or the Swine Flu.

“During this outbreak of a novel H1N1 flu virus (formerly referred to as “swine flu”), there will be increased demand in the U.S. for a variety of medical products that may help treat or prevent influenza, including antiviral drugs and personal protection equipment, such as masks. Consumers may seek to purchase such products, including, with a prescription, antiviral drugs. Depending on how this virus spreads and the current situation evolves, consumers and patients may encounter some shortages of these products, as the demand may occasionally exceed the supply available directly to consumers in some locations, creating what are often called, “spot shortages.”  {emphasis mine} http://sharing.govdelivery.com/bulletins/GD/USHHS-735DB

Just days ago, the CDC said they have enough anti-viral drugs to combat a spreading outbreak of swine flu.  ”  Acting CDC director Richard Besser said, “ There are no reports, and we don’t expect any reports, of shortages of any anti-virals in any states,” he told reporters.  {empasis mine} The CDC’s interim director for public health, Anne Schuchat, said the US government has “extensive supplies” of the drugs oseltamir (Tamiflu) and zanamivir (Relenza). http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5gsCu6xmwGDfldVN8sTUQzfBauuOQ

Maybe CDC and DHS might want to start communicating a little better as one agency says we have enough and the other that drugs will be in short supply?

The government bulletin goes on to say that, “The federal government is purchasing additional supplies of these products to refresh the Strategic National Stockpile so that it can continue to meet our public health needs.”  This translates into the fact that there will be less Antivirals on the shelf at the local pharmacy.   A quick survey of several pharmacy’s in and around the City of Snohomish near Seattle, Washington finds that they are all out of the treasured TamiFLU anti-viral medicine. http://www.snohomishtimes.com/snohomishNEWS.cfm?inc=story&newsID=507  “Pharmaceutical giant Roche stopped delivering the flu remedy Tamiflu to French high street pharmacies on Thursday, after panic over the swine flu outbreak saw it disappearing off the shelves.  http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5j0g8mOFeQael0wAaEyLDCagwtnGwMedicines to fight the virus, such as Tamiflu and Relenza, must be taken within 48 hours of first symptoms to do any good.

Don’t you feel better knowing than the government will be in charge and have ownership of our banking system, automobile manufacturing, the unions, and now potentially the medicine that could save lives?

While the drugs are far from a cure, they seems to have some treatment properties for the standard flu and apparently in some cases, Swine Flu.  Testing for Swine flu and like SARS is far from reliable.  “The rRT-PCR Swine Flu Panel diagnostic test has not been approved or cleared by the FDA. “(empasis mine) An EUA allows this unapproved diagnostic kit to be legally distributed and used for the authorized purposes. Section 8 from cdc http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/eua/qa.htm.  “The CDC says ”A negative RT-PCR test should not be interpreted as demonstrating that the patient does not have swine influenza virus infection.”  http://www.swinefluprevent.org/interpreting-swine-influenca-rt-pcr-detection-panel-test-results-fact-sheet-for-healthcare-providers  Even the tests for SARS are far from reliable with some taking up to 21 days to diagnose and again that the results are not definitive. {Wiki}.

“I have no higher priority as President of the United States than the safety and security of the American people, and I will do whatever is necessary to protect this country. ” said President Obama in his weekly White House address.  http://www.whitehouse.gov/the_press_office/WEEKLY-ADDRESS-President-Obama-Outlines-Government-Actions-to-Address-the-2009-H1N1-Flu/  In contrast to his priority of keeping antivirals available for Americans, last week President Obama authorized  Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to send 400,000 Treatment Courses Deployed to Mexico last Thursday. http://www.hhs.gov/news/press/2009pres/04/20090430a.html

The World Health Organization said Saturday it has sent 2.4 million treatments of anti-flu drug Tamiflu to 72 developing countries preparing themselves against a possible swine flu pandemic.  The drugs came from a WHO stockpile donated by drug maker Roche Holding AG, Dr. Mike Ryan, WHO’s global alert and response director, told a news conference in Geneva. http://www.etaiwannews.com/etn/news_content.php?id=937607&lang=eng_news&cate_img=316.jpg&cate_rss=news_Health

It isn’t even flu season yet.  Will this early response and release of antivirals and effect on the current outbreak jeopardize the efforts to prevent the standard flu witch kills more than a half a million people worldwide every ear?  4 May 2009 — As of 06:00 GMT, 4 May 2009, 20 countries have officially reported 985 cases of influenza A (H1N1) infection. http://www.who.int/csr/don/2009_05_04/en/index.html  How many cases will develop and how far this spreads is anyone’s guess.

Not to be outdone in profiteering from the flu or pandemics. ” The world’s second-richest man( Warren Buffett) also said Berkshire, which generates about half its business from insurance, would consider writing policies to insure against a potential swine flu pandemic if it got paid enough. http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE5422NI20090504
