It should come as no surprise that scientists are warning Haiti that more earthquakes could be coming to Haiti in the coming months, as we first reported here https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2010/01/27/earthquake-prediction-for-haiti-and-sumatra/

PORT-AU-PRINCE (Reuters) – Haiti should be preparing for another major earthquake that could be triggered by the catastrophic one last month which killed up to 200,000 people and left the capital Port-au-Prince in ruins, experts say.

Teams of geophysicists, who have been tracking movements in the fault line that slashes across Haiti and into the Dominican Republic, came to the nation last week to measure changes in the Earth’s crust after the 7.0-magnitude quake on January 12. http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE61033A20100201

Preliminary calculations by his group show the January 12 quake could be the “little kick” that sets off another temblor along the 186 mile fault where two regional tectonic plates have been scraping together for millions of years.  http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE61033A20100201

A 186 mile fault line, that mainly devastated only one major city?  That’s what I call a kick in the ass.

Oh pleeazzze, give me a break.  These poor people in Haiti are as prepared as they are ever going to be for the time being.  There is nothing to fall on their heads or trap them.  Like in the game of dominoes, it has already all fallen down.  Haiti was warned two years ago and still it did nothing, nor could it have.

Haiti’s biggest worries no longer come from underground; but the threat of military, humanitarian and climate interference.

President Bellerive told CNN in an interview broadcast on Sunday that he was worried about the risk of illegal adoptions and child trafficking. “We have already reports of a lot of trafficking (of children) and even of organ trafficking,” he said, while citing no specific cases.  Yeah, like those scary Baptists taking kids to an orphanage.http://www.haitifeed.com/2010/02/01/haiti-orphan-rescue-mission-adoption-or-child-trafficking-christian-science-monitor/

Mark Fried from Oxfam in a recent podcast http://www.oxfam.org/haitiquake  has hit the nail on the head- what are all these people going to do when the rainy season starts in April?  Besides getting being wet, there are going to mudslides due to the destruction blocking the rains natural runoff patterns.   Say nothing of the possibility of fire from thousands cooking under makeshift sheets and tents.

These people have more to worry about than another shimmy shake.

Scientists can detect a minuscule solar flair from the sun but they claim they can not predict earthquakes? http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/today.html

Now researchers believe they can possibly predict additional quakes in Sumatra and Haiti.

The earthquake that rocked Padang, western Sumatra, in September last year, killing more than 1000 people, was not the “great earthquake” that earth scientists are waiting for.  In fact, it may have made the next massive earthquake more likely, according to University of Ulster earthquake expert John McCloskey. That is the key conclusion of a paper published last week in the journal Nature Geoscience, the authoritative earth sciences research journal. http://alertnet.org/db/blogs/62815/2010/00/26-121510-1.htm

Going on to say:

For some years now scientists have been warning of the build up of stress on one of the earth’s great plate boundaries to the west of Sumatra in Indonesia. For more than 200 years the collision between the Indian ocean plate and the Asian plate has stored an enormous amount of energy. “It’s just like slowly drawing a bow. For hundreds of years the energy is stored as the two tectonic plates bend and deform. Then, in just a few seconds all this energy is released generating a massive earthquake and sometimes flexing the seafloor to create a tsunami.

In a few seconds, Haiti was demolished on January 12, 2010 with no warnings of preceding tremors, and no tsunami after.

A team funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) is returning to Haiti this week to investigate the cause {emphasis mine) of the January 12, magnitude 7 earthquake there.  The geologists will collect crucial data to assess whether the quake could trigger another major event to the east or west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital. Eric Calais, a Purdue University geophysicist leading the team, said that most aftershocks occur within weeks of the initial quake and that the team urgently needs to get to the site to make a detailed assessment before crucial geological information disappears.  http://www.sciencecodex.com/scientists_return_to_haiti_to_assess_possibility_of_another_major_quake

Where is the geological information disappearing to?  Investigate the cause?  Natural science would tell us that the plates beneath the ocean shifted- and that has been the official cause of every other earthquake reported in the world.  No government or entity has ever come forward to say, “Hey look what we can do.”

Clearly the San Andreas Fault in California, U.S., remains quite visible.

The San Andreas Fault has not disappeared

According to the theory of continental drift, the earth’s surface is divided up into a dozen or so massive, rigid plates that rest on the earth’s more fluid mantle. Some of the plates, the oceanic plates, are under the ocean, and the others, which are much thicker and heavier, are the continental plates.  Convection currents running along the top of the mantle, created by the upwelling of new crust in some places and the sinking of old crust in others, move the plates at roughly 2.5 centimeters per year (Fig. 2). Baja California, for instance, is drifting quite rapidly––it is moving at the same rate in which your fingernails are growing! Collisions between plates result in the deformation of the earth’s crust and the uplift of mountains, and cause severe earthquake and volcanic activity as well. http://www.biog1105-1106.org/demos/106/unit08/2a.continentaldrift.html via Cornell University.

What makes Haiti so different, besides the fact it sits near some of the deepest waters of the world?   Could it be its close approximation to Puerto Rico’s negative gravity?

Above ground, scientists from Rochester Institute of Technology are sweeping the leveled city with high-tech imaging integrated into a small aircraft.

Funded by the World Bank (sic, imagine that)  and in collaboration with ImageCat Inc., the five-day flight is meticulously mapping the disaster zone to aid in crisis management and eventual reconstruction of the city…The LIDAR capability detects and measures collapsed buildings and standing structures damaged by the earthquake. At the request of the U.S. Geological Survey, Faulring is using LIDAR to map the fault line to estimate how much the earth moved. This information is critical to refinement of earthquake-risk prediction models. http://www.rit.edu/news/?v=47281

Prediction modelling is one thing, but this assumes only environmental issues and not man-made technology can alter the earth’s plates or atmosphere with the potential to cause earthquakes.  If you don’t think HAARP, EISCAT, Project Blue Beam and the host of other Tesla like technology couldn’t possibly cause an earthquake, I have water for you to drink from the moon.  We all know there is water there, we just bombed it as proof.

The Haiti Earthquake was imminent.  Did they know it and not tell anyone?

“Recent research and observation have shown that the process of seismogenesis is not completely random — earthquakes tend to be localized in space, primarily on plate boundaries, and seem to be clustered in time more than would be expected for a random process.”  http://www.nature.com/nature/debates/earthquake/equake_frameset.html

Scientists who detected worrisome signs of growing stresses in the fault that unleashed this week’s devastating earthquake in Haiti said they warned officials there two years ago that their country was ripe for a major earthquake. Their sobering findings, presented during a geological conference in March 2008 and at meetings two months later, showed that the fault was capable of causing a 7.2-magnitude earthquake — slightly stronger than Tuesday’s 7.0 quake that rocked the impoverished country.  http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100115/ap_on_re_us/us_haiti_earthquake_warning;_ylt=Am6c.rU89Pyw2Tu4jMA7kDOs0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTNzbW9zdXNoBGFzc2V0A2FwLzIwMTAwMTE1L3VzX2hhaXRpX2VhcnRocXVha2Vfd2FybmluZwRjY29kZQNtb3N0cG9wdWxhcgRjcG9zAzMEcG9zAzEzBHB0A2hvbWVfY29rZQRzZWMDeW5fdG9wX3N0b3J5BHNsawNzY2llbnRpc3Rzd2E

24 hours before the Haiti Quake this earthquake warning was issued by Astrotometry at  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwHwzqZg9M4

Northern Hemisphere Earthquake Watch Until January 16th.  Entering a period of intense earthquake activity.  Astrotometry of recent holes in the solar corona indicate upcoming inconsistencies in the Earth’s hypertime translation. During the period January 11th to January 16th a very strong seismic event above 7.7 in magnitude is probable and several seismic events above 6 in magnitude are expected in the Northern Hemisphere.  Based on correlated cloud patterns, in order of probability, the quake-prone watch regions most likely to be effected are:

Indonesia
California
West Central Asia
Southeastern Europe (near Greece or Italy)
Hawaii

It’s probable that more than one region in the Northern Hemisphere will be effected during this period.  A separate coronal hole indicates a quake of lesser magnitude in the Solomon islands region in the Southern Hemisphere near the end of the watch period or shortly after.

http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/qed/  lists earthquakes that occurred in the same period, including Haiti.

Pretty damned accurate, eh?

Giampaolo Giuliani, an expert at the Gran Sasso national laboratory, had  warned the authorities a week before the earthquake about some seismic activity he had been detecting in Central Italy but he was ignored by all but a few believers. https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2009/04/08/italy-earthquake-warnings-by-giampaolo-guiliani-dismissed/

There’s a 100 percent chance of an earthquake today. Though millions of persons may never experience an earthquake, they are very common occurrences on this planet. So today — somewhere — an earthquake will occur.http://earthquake.usgs.gov/learn/topics/100_chance.php

Let us remind you that the U.S. government was running drills- allegedly in the event a hurricane were to hit Haiti, just the day prior to the quake.  In light of the United States government SOUTHCOM and the Defense Department’s European Command,  ”preparing for a test of the system in a scenario that involved providing relief to Haiti in the wake of a hurricane. After the earthquake hit on Tuesday, Demay said SOUTHCOM decided to go live with the system.”   https://ahrcanum.wordpress.com/2010/01/22/haiti-earthquake-conspiracy-southcom-drill-prior-to-quake-reminiscent-of-911/

Another prediction or coincidence?

In Haiti there are upwards of 10,000 different Humanitarian groups offering aid and assistance for the earthquake victims.  There will be approximately 15,000 U.S. Troops along with nearly 20,000 MINUSTAH troops, the  United Nations Stabilization Mission in place.  What exactly is the mission of so many military troops?

Along comes House Resolution 1021 to help define the mission of the U.S.  The full text is at http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c111:1:./temp/~c1118dVx0L:

Title: Expressing condolences to and solidarity with the people of Haiti in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010; introduced by Representative Barbara Lee of California.

Lee has introduced some numerous legislation that gives our tax dollars away to other nations, including: (http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/?&Db=d111&querybd=@FIELD(FLD003+@4((@1(Rep+Lee++Barbara))+01501)

H.CON.RES.63 : Expressing the sense of Congress that the United States should provide, on an annual basis, an amount equal to at least 1 percent of United States gross domestic product (GDP) for nonmilitary foreign assistance programs.

H.CON.RES.98 : Recognizing the disparate impact of climate change on women and the efforts of women globally to address climate change.

H.CON.RES.102 : Expressing the sense of Congress that the United States has a moral responsibility to meet the needs of those persons, groups, and communities that are impoverished, disadvantaged, or otherwise in poverty.

While H.R. 1021 seeks to promote a stable and sustainable future for Haiti, does it also obligate the United States for an unspecified time to contribute financial and military resources?

Dr. Ron Paul,http://www.house.gov/paul/  Republican of Texas thinks so, and was the only dissenting vote on the passage of the resolution 411-1.

A younger Ron Paul with President Reagan

Statement of Congressman Ron Paul
United States House of Representatives
Statement in Opposition to H Res 1021, Condolences to Haiti
January 21, 2010 http://www.house.gov/list/speech/tx14_paul/Haiti.shtml Excertpted:

I rise in reluctant opposition to this resolution…rather it commits the US government “to begin the reconstruction of Haiti” and affirms that “the recovery and long-term needs of Haiti will require a sustained commitment by the United States….” I do not believe that a resolution expressing our deep regret and sorrow over this tragedy should be used to commit the United States to a “long-term” occupation of Haiti during which time the US government will provide for the reconstruction of that country.
I am concerned over the possibility of an open-ended US military occupation of Haiti and this legislation does nothing to alleviate my concerns. On the contrary, when this resolution refers to the need for a long term US plan for Haiti, I see a return to the failed attempts by the Clinton and Bush Administrations to establish Haiti as an American protectorate.

Numerous countries and religious nuts would love nothing better than to see the destruction of the U.S.   Do we in fact have a “moral responsibility to meet the needs of those persons, groups, and communities that are impoverished,” and disadvantaged abroad,  or at home?  In committing to Haiti’s reconstruction for a long term occupation, does it offer an opportunity to  provide a higher degree of security in the region?  Russia and Venezuela were in fact playing live ammo war games in Caribbean basin last year, so when Paul offers concern over establishing, “Haiti as an American protectorate,” does Haiti not also serve America well to potentially become a protectorate of the U.S. like Puerto Rico?

The US military installations in Puerto Rico are part of the US Atlantic Command (LANTCOM).[2] LANTCOM has authority over all US military operations that take place throughout the Atlantic. Puerto Rico has been seen as crucial in supporting LANTCOM’s mission. Both the Naval Forces Caribbean (NFC) and the Fleet Air Caribbean (FAIR) were formerly based at the Roosevelt Roads Naval Station.[2] The NFC has authority over all US Naval activity in the waters of the Caribbean while FAIR has authority over all US military flights and air operations over the Caribbean. With the closing of the Roosevelt Roads and Vieques Island training facilities, the US Navy has basically exited from Puerto Rico, except for the ships that steam by, and the only significant military presence in the island is the U.S. Army at Ft Buchanan, the Puerto Rican Army and Air National Guards, and the U.S. Coast Guardhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_of_Puerto_Rico.

The New World Order and Illuminati conspiracy theorists should be having a field day. “Control of banks, media, schools, local and federal governments, churches, media, police and military and sciences, water and food supply.” writes a commentator at http://operationcleensweep.blogspot.com/2010/01/just-what-is-in-bill-hr-1021.html  Is that in America or Haiti, we ask?

We are a bit reminiscent of Grenada.

Grenada was an all out military intervention. “President Ronald Reagan accused Grenada of constructing facilities to aid a Soviet and Cuban military build-up in the Caribbean. There was also worry about the large number of weapons flowing into Grenada. One shipment in 1979 contained 3400 rifles and 3 million rounds of ammunition…. President Reagan called the leaders of the new government “a brutal group of leftist thugs.”via http://www.psywarrior.com/GrenadaHerb.html .

America and the world prior to the quake for years gave billions to Haiti, yet remained it has one of the poorest nations with little infrastructure and slavery rampant.  Were the Haitian government officials playing to the communists at the expense of it’s own people and relations with the U.S.?  Where is any one Haitian government official on TV or in the news except for Aristide?

But the administration’s actions in Haiti did not always match its words. Interviews and a review of government documents show that a democracy-building group close to the White House, and financed by American taxpayers, undercut the official United States policy and the ambassador assigned to carry it out. As a result, the United States spoke with two sometimes contradictory voices in a country where its words carry enormous weight. That mixed message, the former American ambassador said, made efforts to foster political peace “immeasurably more difficult.” Without a political agreement, a weak government was destabilized further, leaving it vulnerable to the rebels. http://www.globalpolicy.org/component/content/article/155/25995.html

Now, “It seems that Haiti’s deposed leader Jean-Bertrand Aristide is trying to eye for a comeback in Haiti after his country suffered a massive earthquake. via http://againstcommies009.blogspot.com/2010/01/obama-nationcfr-files-jean-bertrand.html.

People of Grenada, er Haiti, We have come...

In the long run, maybe we need Haiti as much as Haiti needs the U.S.

Your thoughts?
