24 CANCELLED. Fox TV today stopped the clock on “24,” ending one of the most successful dramas in its eighth season.
While ratings were slipping a bit make no mistake there is more money to be made on the big screen. “Looking ahead to the future, (executive producer) Howard Gordon and I are excited about the opportunity to create the feature film version of ’24’,” Sutherland added.http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE62Q03020100327
Ya know what- frig u. As much as we like the show, we’ve got something else to do with 24 hours than watch Jack . Jack ing off for free rather than paying $12 for a 3D version at the theatre sounds like a good date. Oh yeah, the gosh dang cable bill is already $190 a month and we pop our own popcorn. Thank you very much.
How much is FOX selling the rights for?
Who really cares if it adds to the bottom line. Too bad for us followers who watched the show for 6-7 years filled w all the crap commercials. Let’s hope it turns out better than the X-Files movies that fell far flat from the entertaining series on TV.
