The 58th Bilderberg Meeting was held in Sitges, Spain 3 – 6 June 2010f with 130 participants discussing the future of: Financial Reform, Security, Cyber Technology, Energy, Pakistan, Afghanistan, World Food Problem, Global Cooling, Social Networking, Medical Science, EU-US relations.
I find it especially humorous the topic of global cooling, as opposed to global warming. What is not so funny, is how the Bilderberg meetings and other think tanks influence our lives.
David Rockefeller heads the Member Advisory Group and the list is a who’s who of people of prominence. A third of the people are from government and politics, and two-thirds are from finance, industry, labor, education, and communications. The meeting is private in order to encourage frank and open discussion. http://www.bilderbergmeetings.org/meeting_2010_2.html
A few select photos of some attendees can be found here at http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/gallery/2010/jun/09/bilderberg-spain and at http://www.danielestulin.com/galeria/fotos/bilderberg2010/
Wouldn’t you have loved to have been a fly on the wall? Which one of the members would have held the fly swatter?
“You don’t need a conspiracy site to know what these supposedly elite and powerful people were ‘secretly’ meeting about. They weren’t talking about their golf handicaps; they’re talking about the economic shape of the world. They’re asking if the euro will survive. They’re wondering if America will survive. What will the world look like a year from now?” …
There are forces trying to make you believe everything is OK and that more government and more spending is the way to go. There are forces who want to gain more international power and control. And then there’s you. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,594127,00.html
And then there’s you.
Daniel Estulin, author of The True Story of the Bilderberg Group, claims Bilderberg’s goal, is “the creation of a global network of giant cartels, more powerful than any nation on Earth, destined to control the necessities of life of the rest of humanity, obviously from their vantage point, for our own good and in our benefit – the great unwashed as they call us.”
Charlie Skelton summed up some of the connections nicely at his blog, http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/blog/2010/jun/14/charlie-skelton-bilderberg-2010
One of the participants snapped by Quierosaber is the glacial senior fellow of the Hudson Institute,[sic http://www.hudson.org/] Marie-Josée Kravis, (wife of Henry Kravis, head of private equity megafirm KKR). The tax-exempt Hudson Institute is a US “thinktank” which has a clearly stated aim: “We seek to guide global leaders in government and business.” It’s funded by good and wise people like Monsanto, DuPont, Pfizer, McDonald’s, General Atomics, IBM, Proctor & Gamble, and Conrad Black (Bilderberg attendee and currently guest of Florida correctional institution).
The Hudson Institute was set up by the Rand Corporation (which had previously been set up by the Douglas Aircraft Company to advise the US military). In a nutshell, that’s who Marie-Josée Kravis works for, and that’s who George Osborne spent Bilderberg 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 listening to. In the words of Aretha Franklin: who’s zoomin’ who? And who the hell asked these foundations for their guidance in the first place? Stop issuing reports! Stop thinktanking! Stop presenting “well-timed recommendations to leaders in government”. Mind your own unelected business for a change. And pay some tax while you’re about it.
Educate Yourself blog claims, “There is a worldwide conspiracy being orchestrated by an extremely powerful and influential group of genetically-related individuals (at least at the highest echelons) which include many of the world’s wealthiest people, top political leaders, and corporate elite…” http://www.educate-yourself.org/nwo/
What about the 200 other think tanks besides Bilderberg, that are intermingling in public policy, and possibly manipulating governments and people?
The Tavistock Institute website http://www.tavinstitute.org/ says, “The Institute is engaged with evaluation and action research, organisational development and change consultancy, executive coaching and professional development, all in service of supporting sustainable change and ongoing learning.”
Mmmm, sustainable change? Change you can believe in?
The http://greatamericanpoetryshow.com/articles-and-essays/tavistock-the-best-kept-secret-in-america/ shows a more opportunistic organization whose influence and power may not be used for the good of the people :
Tavistock Institute is headquartered in London. Its prophet, Sigmond Freud, settled in Maresfield Gardens when he moved to England. He was given a mansion by Princess Bonaparte. Tavistock’s pioneer work in behavioral science along Freudian lines of “controlling” humans established it as the world center of foundation ideology. Its network now extends from the University of Sussex to the U.S. through the Stanford Research Institute, Esalen, MIT, Hudson Institute, Heritage Foundation, Center of Strategic and International Studies at Georgetown, where State Dept. personal are trained, US Air Force Intelligence, and the Rand and Mitre corporations. The personnel of the corporations are required to undergo indoctrination at one or more of these Tavistock controlled institutions. A network of secret groups, the Mont Pelerin Society [sic http://www.montpelerin.org/] , Trilateral Commission,[sichttp://www.trilateral.org/ ] Ditchley Foundation, [http://www.ditchley.co.uk/] and the Club of Rome[sic http://www.clubofrome.org/eng/home/ ] is conduit for instructions to the Tavistock network.
That’s some network. Here’s a few more think tanks, errr- networks to think about:
Via Wiki, “Critics such as Ralph Nader have suggested that, because of the private nature of the funding of some think tanks, their results are biased to a varying degree. Some argue that members will be inclined to promote or publish only those results which ensure the continued flow of funds from private donors.” (emphasis mine.)
Continuing the flow of funds, my antennae turn to The World Health Organization. WHO, with it secretive list of members failed to disclose their connection and possible/probable influence by major pharmaceutical companies in declaring the now defunct Swine Flu Pandemic. http://www.resistnet.com/profiles/blogs/h1n1-vaccine-scandal-world
The Bilderberg Meetings were covered in the press, somewhat. http://de2008a2012.wordpress.com/2010/06/06/bilderberg-2010-analisis-suma-y-seguimos/ writes ” the abandonment of secrecy purest of these Sects / corporations / lobbies has been caused in a gesture more than a sign of their absolute power over a society completely drugged with their vices and cultural naivety and utter spiritual darkness.” There are also numerous links to press and video coverage of the meeting .
Ideological propaganda or ideological solutions? Who pays for think tanks? The taxpayer. The capitalist. And then there’s you.
The government funds, wholly or in part, activities at approximately 30 Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs). FFRDCs, are unique independent nonprofit entities sponsored and funded by the U.S. government to meet specific long-term technical needs that cannot be met by any other single organization. FFRDCs typically assist government agencies with scientific research and analysis, systems development, and systems acquisition. They bring together the expertise and outlook of government, industry, and academia to solve complex technical problems. These FFRDCs include the RAND Corporation, the MITRE Corporation, the Institute for Defense Analyses, the Aerospace Corporation, the MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and other organizations supporting various departments within the U.S. Government.
Master Government List of FFRDCs can be found at http://www.nsf.gov/statistics/nsf05306/ and a updated list at http://www.nsf.gov/statistics/ffrdclist/ and at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_federally_funded_research_and_development_centers. Partial funding disclosure can be found at http://www.nsf.gov/about/budget/fy2011/pdf/22-Facilities_fy2011.pdf
Blurred between the FFRDCs and Think Tanks, we have is what is referred to as “the twilight zone.” Blurring the lines of The Constitution they often acts as a quasi government as reported in “The Quasi Government: Hybrid Organizations with Both Government and Private Sector Legal Characteristics.” report at http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/RL30533.pdf
Characteristically most people are more familiar with the The Twilight Zone TV show, than the influence and power of these organizations. Throw in media think tanks like such as the conservative Heritage Foundation http://www.heritage.org/ and the Cato Institute, who promote libertarian social and economic reforms and you see who influences government policy, and the push toward globalization and a New World Order. The liberal Tellus Institute http://www.tellus.org/ website headline reads, ” research and action for a global civilization of sustainability, equity, and well-being.” What action and whose best interest will be served is anyone’s guess.
And then there’s you. And, then there’s them.

[…] ahrcanum.wordpress.com tar en titt på ljusskygga grupperingar som Bilderberg-gruppen och liknande, som antas vara de som är de verkliga makthavarna i väst, inte precis demokratiskt valda! Jag håller helt med Charlie Skelton: And who the hell asked these foundations for their guidance in the first place? Stop issuing reports! Stop thinktanking! Stop presenting “well-timed recommendations to leaders in government”. Mind your own unelected business for a change. And pay some tax while you’re about it. […]
